- NEW TEAM CORALLY KAGAMA 6s. I really wish I had better weather for the first couple sessions with the Kagama but I did my best to show all the good and bad from the first five lipos with this truck.

It’s completely stock it was a roller. All I have done is put my electronics in.
Castle MMX8S paired to a Tp Power 4050 1950 KV my final gearing was a 15t with fans perfect pass monster servo, and I went through the shocks and the differentials. It’s all in the video if you’re interested in all that make sure you check the overviews thanks again and happy bashing. This is one hell of a truck highly recommended

I'd say she's Hella tougher than a stock Sledge! What a beatdown on the kagama Bro Aldo. I'm super impressed 👍 nothing broken 💪💪. She's certified tough for me. This is a huge step up over my Punisher. Awesome session brother. I'm also diggin the looks. The toughness straight out of the box is very impressive. Wider stance and backflip tires will only make it handle better. Awesome job King 👑
Thank you so much Cris I agree she is a monster straight out of the box just to go out and bash the truck like most people do this thing is going to be indestructible but you know we have to put upgrades on it that’s part of the game but honestly, I don’t think the truck needs it at this point I’m sure you take a really bad hit. It’s going to do some damage over time but I was so impressed with this car. I could not stop running it for three days and if my weather was better I would’ve kept running it all week I’m hoping to get back out with her on Sunday the 6s backflips were the ticket to keep the car a little bit straighter, but honestly for what team Corally is wanting to do with this car they nailed it 100% buy the car take it out and Bash the car and go home in one piece and be happy

Thanks man yeah I wasn’t about to hold back. I did in the beginning a little bit until I got used to the car but she is a brute. I’ve put five packs through the car, but I hear you about a couple more runs before you pull the trigger. I believe the car needs to prove itself before calling it out as the best it’s definitely going in the right direction and has loads of potential we’ll see how it goes after a few more sessions.

Local hobby shop I try this kagama hands down my fave rc out of the box and I have the exb only down side is the parts and waiting for them only
Thing I broke is a rear hinge pin but I replaced it with an arrma hinge pin 😂
That’s awesome dude this truck is pretty sweet no doubt parts are a little difficult but you can usually get what you want from TC USA but me personally when I get a new RC I always buy the commonly broke things and stock up on it you’re gonna need it eventually Arms shock Rod end ball cups if you can swing it an extra set of diff gears it’s all very common stuff on RC cars to break so when you buy a new RC car drop another hundred or 150 in parts and then you know you won’t have no downtime

Kraton killer or not, did your front cvd's come out of the diffs every other hard landing or take off? I'm not hearing the "chatter" you hear when launching an arrma truck that hasn't had the arms shortened.
The last time I was out last season a guy showed up with a newer corally and I was impressed. His was box stock except he was running backflip lp's on it. I think his is the "talion" version, not sure of it's name. It was sooooooo light compared to my m2c'd arrma's. He was flipping that thing all over on 4S! I haven't run 4S in my outcast or kraton in a long time, but I don't remember them ever being so lively on 4S.
Heck of a bash session! Can't believe you didn't toast the chassis on a few of those hard landings where you land on the face of the next jump!
Yeah man this is a super tough truck and they’re super light compared to Arrma cars but that’s how they were designed more for the racer. Both the New Kraton and the Kagama are super awesome trucks. I have yet to break either one of them I broke a arm on the Kraton but I have yet to break any arms on the Kagama

That was a crazy beatdown. And it survived! Those hits would have bent any stock Arrma chassis, including the EXB ones. I was never able to bend the Sketer chassis either, but the shock towers on the Sketer did bend with upside down landings 😅

Hey bro, i have a kagama roller and max 6 esc going 6s.just need a motor now. Are you happy with that tp 4050 1950kv? Or would you do something different? I see you ended up using a 15t pinnion.... heat all good now?
What’s up dude yes I’m really happy with that set up in this car I’m not having problems with heat now I was just over geared for that motor. I also run in pretty warm temps.
What’s your go to servo for 1/8 1/10 scale trucks & truggys for bashing what servo have you found to be budget friendly fast & durable like I’m willing to spend up to $200 also do you run any external power servo’s on your rig’s if so do you generally just run them off your esc
Thanks for the question I have tried many servos for these cars anywhere from $400 all the way down to $20 the best servo I have found and the only servo that I will buy nowadays is the perfect pass monster servo I believe it’s around $125 he has his own website now perfect pass RC or you can get them from Amazon as well. I have yet to break one and I’ve been running them for well over a year since he released them. I thought I had one go down but it just got wet when I power washed my RC, all I did was let it dry out and it worked fine to this day. Also, I have not heard too many issues with that servo from anybody else. Hope this helps
And yes, I just run it straight off of my ESC with the BEC cranked all the way up
Hey! Hope all is well. I've been running mines for about a week now. Went from stock gear to a 18. Because I didn't have a 16 on hand. 18 no food with stock set up. Can u suggest esc and motor to run almost as hard as u?
Yeah dude I have not found a good set up for these cars yet. I run a higher KV motors in my cars. It does run pretty hot. That’s one of the biggest problems with these cars. They like to run hot no matter what system you put in them if you don’t mind doing a little modification, you probably be good going with a HobbyWing Max6 combo with the 1650 KV
Having survived the meat pit, I'm sold on this particular Corally. Am genuinely impressed. It does not need extensive upgrades. I watched this yesterday. If I hadn't had what I hve already over my budget, I'd be buying this RC right after seeing this. This one is a winner, hands down. I like Arrma, but they have a real threat at this point. Excellent content as always. 👍👊
Awesome bro i’m the same way I love my arrma cars, but this is a big threat to Arrma no doubt one hell of a truck with no upgrades I love to upgrade my cars that’s part of the hobby, but this one needs very little, if any at all

I have the Asuga ( th-cam.com/video/wB1KFI5wrrc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=d92eit9iO7UOHRPb) and have been looking to get one of these for rougher terrain. I was going to get a Kraton but I think I'm going to stick with Team Corally!

Just a thought or heads up for you only because ive had my rc8x for almost a year now and its happened a couple times when i let the battery level get down to 7.3 volts it would act the same way. First i would lose steering then it went open throttle on me. I thought it was my reciever at first but realized it was battery level. I set the alarm for 7.4 volts now. Hope this helps
Thanks for the tip man when I first got the transmitter, I started out with the included Lipo they sent and realized it doesn’t stay charge for very long. I wasn’t happy with that so I switched over to the included AAA battery holder that came with the transmitter and since I did that, I haven’t had any issues with this radio Still fully charged and works 100% but I’ll keep an eye on it when it get low for sure. Thanks again my friend.

Ha ha I don’t know how well she would do on the death ramp, but I put her through her paces and she’s held up pretty good for me. And definitely stronger than the Kronos XTR

The asuga is pretty much that truck that one's a little more beefed up I think. But the arms everything else is the same. I'm about to put some booger wheels on mine or get them wheels actually right there and put them on my buggy and converter on over to that. No I won't, I'll just buy that too lol looks great my friend
I believe the chassis are different. There’s quite a bit that’s different. The arms are definitely different the same style beef but longer and I don’t know what hubs are on the asuga, but these are the same hubs that are on the 2022XTR.
Hope you're wrong because my asuga broke 3 things in 1 bad landing and that turned me off from the brand instantly. Been trying to give them another chance though. I was just salty because I've never broken an arrma rig in 3 different places from 1 tumble.

All this cars handle like a champ, but i had badly experience with the v1,v2, and de xtr that wing broke like chips, de battery straps broke quik, and de shock mounts broke too, so with this video i like to buy a kagama for sure,thanks man!

Thanks so much man I would have to do some measurements but I don’t know if a Max6 combo would fit in this truck and honestly a stock system. It’s probably all you need TP motors run hot anyway I was just over geared for the KV size.

How much do those kagamas go for I mean without all the shit that you do to him what's one bone stock?
The one I bought was around 450 or more for a roller. for a RTR ready to run. I’m not sure I think they’re close to 700

One bad landing would definitely fuck your day up. I built those jumps. That’s my front yard. A couple of them are bigger than MX jumps. If I could get them bigger I would my tractor just don’t go up any higher🤷♂️🤣
@@AldoLoyal man im new to RC, so i've only jumped my Rlaarlo am d12 on some small 15ft jumps and done a couple backflips, and that is way more than its designed to handle 😂 hinge pins and dogbones everywhere. Definitely looking for a more durable basher and the kagama would easily squash that beef. Ideally id wake up doing the kind of stuff you're doing, but maybe i need an intermediate size car first. Definitely impressed by this cars performance though 🙌

Too early to be a Kraton killer I agree but it passed the Sludge with the first LVC hit. The Sludge is just straight poo. Sure, after doubling the cost by adding the M2C catalog it's great. I’m sure she’s gonna get some upgrade just because that’s what I do but you seen it yourself. It does not need them. For the average joker (me), the K6 has been awesome, the Kagama looks even better for the scratch (so far). Arrma and TRX got the aftermarket support which TC still lacks, so far. We may be witnessing a paradigm shift here..those fat cats in McKinney better watch out!!😎👊💪🍻
I can not believe it. NO Breakage! I had the Kronos V1 and V2. Constant breakage and diff problems. I want to give this rig a try but corally has scared me.
Yeah, I hear you dude I had the same problems with mine. That’s why I stopped running them but when I talked to TC about the KAGAMA they told me about all the upgrades I figured I would give it another chance. I’m glad I did. This is an awesome car.

Dude it’s awesome I wish I would’ve got it sooner. I had my doubts about it before I bought it but after using it now for a month or so. It’s pretty awesome. Super responsive definitely does more than I’ll ever use it for.

It depends on what kind of fan you get some of them you can power right off of the receiver. Some need a different power source.

Thanks man it does get easier the more you do it but sometimes there’s just no correcting a bad jump and you land bad and shit goes wrong. You just gotta own it and don’t blame the car or the manufacture for you being stupid. These cars were not built to do what I personally do with them, there’s lots of parts and upgrades out there to fix them up even better. I run my kraton 4s on 6S and she is a beast.
@@AldoLoyal bro I've seen guys running them on 6s When I popped that 4S battery in this morning it's a fucking wicked battery It's got crazy life to it but what a difference from the 5200 3s that I put in to kind of break it in but the difference is night and day And yeah I feel what you're saying especially when you're playing with toys this big unless you're going to drive it like a nanny all day long It's not a matter of if it's going to break It's just a matter of when and how hard you push it but then again sometimes it can just be the most ridiculous thing ever that causes something to break I just joined up on that arm a form cuz there's a shit on info on there especially for beginners as well as places to find parts and recommendations because up here in Canada we don't have nearly as much as what you do down in the states if that's where you're from It's a lot more expensive and harder to get shit up here it seems the right on men keep rocking I'll be watching 💯💯✌️

@@AldoLoyal hey I wanted to ask you actually since you're replying what's good servo that I can throw in my 4S v2 kraton. The one they have in there is fine at lower speeds but at higher speeds and sharp turns it really really starts to lack it seems And I've seen a lot of guys saying that that's a good thing to do I think I know a few online that would work but I just don't want to go through the pain in the ass of ordering something that's not even going to fit would you be able to either take a look or do you know one? I was planning on putting it on the Arma form but I haven't been approved yet to be on there so just want to try and take advantage of all these Black Friday sales Amazon's got stuff so cheap for us right now

I have been thinking of getting a car. But for me it has to be in a kit.
I’ve built a several Tamyia cars. I found making them was as much fun as driving them. So I’m looking for an electric car, 1/10 or 1/8, I like the Traxxas xmaxx look. But I cant find any cars like that in kit form. Maybe you could do an episode on the best kit Bashers available.

If you want a kit and build it yourself the only thing that I’m aware of that’s good is a tekno MT 410 that you’re still able to get and then M2C Racing makes a kit to make that chassis longer and make it into a truggy

But listen, if you’re new at this, this might not be the motor for you. It does not come with ESC bullets you need to solder your own wires and bullets to it. These are very high performance motors, and they run hot if you do not get the gearing, right

Looking at the ARRMA V5 and the KAGAMA WONDER ANY VIEWS ON THE BEST FOR BASH
That is a very hard one, since the Kraton is one of my top cars ever💪
But a stock K6 v5 I don’t see that car comparing to the kagama not even close box stock. The kagama will blow it out of the water but now, if you can find an k6 exb 💪 then the Kegama would be hard-pressed to beat it , the kagama is basically a kraton EXB on steroids

I was thinking about building a driver stand, but the way I move around to different spots on the track. I didn’t think it would be a great idea unless I build it on skids where I can drag it behind my gator.
I just order one I picked this over the Arrma 1/8 kratonV5 think might made right move
That’s awesome man they’re both awesome cars but for being box stock ready to rip right out of the box and have very little issues. This is the car you need yes rc cars are going to break but it’s the most durable RC that I’ve ran out of the box in a long time.

What's the difference between stock motor/esc and MMX8S?
Is the mmx more efficient?
The stock set up would be perfectly fine but in my environment I’m in Florida and it’s always hot and I have found that the MMX8S runs a lot cooler than most ESC’s is why I use them

I was talking to a few people and that’s exactly how I felt when I was running this car loss for words, and it wasn’t like I was taking it easy. I was trying to break it at the end and just couldn’t do it. Team corally did a very good job.

Right now box stock there’s not much that’ll beat it. I’m pretty sure I said in the video. I’ve never had an RC run five packs straight out of the box with no upgrades and not break one part. I didn’t even damage the body. That’s how tough the car is well built
@@AldoLoyal yeah you definitely said it in the video . Competition always make othe brands step their game up
So far in my experience it's on top of all of them. You might be able to upgrade other vehicles to be more durable but out of the box the only car I know of that's more durable is the Traxxas Maxx.

What the outdoor temps you are bashing? Some say Corally makes superb cars, just their plastic is a bit of weak point. This would show while bashing on colder temps, like under 12° Celsius.
It was 80° out those days that I was running this car but I’ve never had a problem with their plastics even during the winter I know other guys bashing in pretty cold temperatures and not having a problem with their plastics either. plastics do get brittle in cold weather one bad landing could take any cars arms out
