Instead of "love handles" it might be better to say the sides just above the pelvis. If someone is in shape they don't have love handles that area isn't soft tissue. It will take more pressure to get through the muscles.
My guy muscles are made up of muscle fibers and spindles which contain nerve tracts. You could not be more incorrect.
Also soft tissue is anything like muscles, fat, blood vessels, nerves, tendons, and pretty much anything else that isn’t a fluid or bone lol….
Or you can poke him in the shoulders or arms which are closer and even easier to see. Better yet, just poke his eye. Even if you do it 'gently' He wont come back or chase you down if you run away.
