I used to work at Voodoo Doughnut Too in Portland. Even after overdosing on donuts while working there, I still think they're really good. Best when fresh, except the ODB (Old Dirty Bastard, a raised ring with chocolate, oreos, and peanut butter), which I feel is best next day, when the oreos have softened up. But a lot of the people complaining about the donuts just come at off hours or on slow days, when they've been sitting for a while and aren't hot out of the fryer like they expect. And yeah, the cereal goes stale faster than the donuts themselves, so prepare for that. I personally just don't get the cereal donuts. But man, oh man, a fresh Buttermilk Bar or Cinnamon Sugar Cake donut?? Heaven in my mouth. 🤤 🙏
