Another Mongolian metal band to discover is Tengger Cavalry, they also mix traditional throat singing and instruments, but they're a LOT more metal than The Hu, and have been around since 2014. th-cam.com/video/h1UhoGJ2PwA/w-d-xo.html
The part where the horseman bearing the Black Tailed Tug (Mongol standard) in full armour coming over the crest of the hill I term "the sight that made Medieval Europe collectively shit itself." Because the Black Tailed Tug is the Mongol War Standard, and it is very likely he has friends on the other side of the hill. The question our medieval ancestors would be asking would be "How many?" And one could say that the Mongolian Choppers Brotherhood, the Mongol bikers in the video, are the modern incarnation of the Mongol Horde.
It is Throat singing.....something native to them. What they are playing modern instruments but from many, many centuries ago. Each of the main band member have Masters in Music and two of them teach college is my understanding from a Google video i watched. My fav Hu song with Lzzy Hale! Song of a Woman
Hello Sadie!! Yeah, I can see you liking this kind of thing! Very dark and powerful... the chanting is epic! Thank you for popping over and leaving me a comment 👏🤘 I hope you guys are doing well and staying healthy!!
They are absolutely awesome they are the coolest awesomest band on the planet and the HUniverse and are so much more than just a band. Their videos are Epic and so is their music and if you ever have the opportunity to see them live take it. They use the morin Khuur, Tovsuur and traditional Mongolian instruments and Mongolian throat singing. Check out all of their videos they are awesome and they rock.
Thought I was about to watch GOT for a minute during that epic intro! lol These guys look bad azz, the biker CLUB look and feel and that singing is out of this world, unique and very different. you ever listened to Sepultura? they have a tribal/metal style that was always different than anyone else and amazing. I wouldn't say these guys are metal, more of a rock feel. Regardless its very cool. Keeps my head bobbing to the music. Total tribal feel to this and I love it!
I totally here you Bro! I love when a band hits me like this and has me wanting to react to more of their music. The great thing is how their fans will come in and educate me on a little band background and/or the history of what they are doing here. And yes, I've heard of Sepultura. Actually, I have done 1 reaction to them (if u dig back you'll see it). The 2nd concert concert I went to in my life was Sepultura, Biohazard, and Pantera... what a f'ng show (back in '94). I believe that is when Choas A.D. was somewhat new. Thanks for checking this one out and I'm glad you enjoyed it 👏💪🤘
Woh this is different,. much different than anything else you have ever reacted to before. Like a new age Sepultura. Pretty sweet I must say. Digging this new yet old style of music.
I heard this band like a few months ago anf they kinda have that ritualistics rock sound that just sucks you in! They look like they belong in a fantasy rock world, so cool! Love your reactions and how you enjoy their music. Something different from your regular content but that how you discover gems!
I posted this video at the end of the day "knowing" that you would have to view it... also thinking that you "might" like it. Well, looks like you did and that makes me happy. Yes, a little different that my typical reaction stuff but now I have another band added to my list to consider in the future. Thank you for the awesome comment 😊👏
Outstanding intro! The first time I heard a Mongolian band performing was 15 years ago, their music was based on Tuvan throat singing technique. The Mongolian rock-tribal band you reacted is also unique and I've never heard that genre before.
This is very different to anything I have ever heard before, thank you for sharing it. You are so engaging to listen to and give such thoughtful responses to everything! ❤️
Great reaction Mr Mik. I quite enjoyed this group, tribal rock with a dark twist. The video has a Skyrim look and feel to it. Renaissance meets medevil. very cool. I must say NWO 4 LIFE! TOO SWEEEEEEEET!
Awesome.... great band that I want to do more of! Great seeing you pop in... William's stream got taken down tonight for some BS violation. TH-cam is getting so lame lately with all this shite. Take care @Ganna 🤘✌💪
MONGOLIAN ROCK? Well this was interesting. Kinda catchy tbh. Wouldn't have found it or seeked it out myself. And this is why I always appreciate your reaction videos man. Always going out of your comfort zone and seeking out new genres and artists.
Hi Daniel, long time no see. How you doing? This is super cool as hell and I’m always thankful with how thorough your reactions on these extraordinary bands are. Thanks for bringing that into my radar.
I'm doing well... how have you been? I got wind in the summer that this band played very close to where I'm from... wish I knew because I would've been there. Thanks for your kind words and I hope for happiness & health for you in 2022.
INSTRUMENTS: That horse head instrument is called Morin khuur (horse head fiddle). Next like a guitar instrument is called Tovshuur (Mongolian traditional guitar). The other similar to a cello is a different type of Morin khuur. SINGING: Their style is called Karkyraa and Khoomei (Mongolian throat singing - reminds "fry vocals" of a man with bass voice, like Till Lindemann from Rammstein. It's done more using the throat and vocals chords). There's a 2nd vocalist that sometimes will do throat vocals a bit higher than the main singer. MUSIC GENRE: The Hu said they are created new genre they called Hunnu rock (rock, Mongolia folk, metal).
The song has bits in there with the instruments that reminds me of The Witcher! A lot of that style music in there too. I really like this actually and I agree with you, it's very different than what you usually hear. In a good way!
I love this so much.....is that a cello hes playing? The deep tone and the tribal vibes are rocking! Another great find and video! Hope you and your family stay safe during this craziness!

The hu is a Mongolian rock band they use instruments such as the Mongolian guitar which instead of the normal 6 strings of our American guitars it only has four and the basses they use only have 2 strings. The leader singer also speciallizes in Tibetan throat singing.

@@DannymikReacts Especially in these times, what we need is peaceful warriors that may conquer the world with music that is not for the timid of heart.
Loved this song when it went viral and still love it! The horse fiddle looks and sounds similar to the Chinese fiddle (called erhu). The song sounds like a battle song. The “throat type vocal style” is throat singing. It is a common traditional style of singing with many nomadic and indigenous ethnic groups around the world.
As far as the throat-singing that they do I mean these guys can use their voices as a completely different instrument you'll see what or hear what I'm saying later in the song usually you only here like Chinese and Tibetan Monks singing like this
Mister dannymikReacts we Mongolians are equivalent vikings of asia.. in other words mongolian people are more masculine then any other Asian race, it runs in our bloood.
Dude, there is a whole world out there of stuff that doesn't get any play here, but is badass and, yes, "cool". Samoan metal. Indonesian metal. Hijab metal. Maori metal. Check this one out: Alien Weaponry "Kai Tangata". th-cam.com/video/5kwIkF6LFDc/w-d-xo.html
@DannymikReacts After Mongolian metal.. how about a bit of India folk metal, courtesy of Bloodywood? th-cam.com/video/XfjTbY2NzsM/w-d-xo.html Those guys are amazing.. bit of rapping, growling, metal, and traditional indian instruments.. really worth checking them out, I promise!!
Or this one, th-cam.com/video/2bldupcptbE/w-d-xo.html I had to euthanize my dog last Tuesday, and holy shit this video hit me HARD.. it's a song about accepting loss and cherishing the moments you shared with loved ones.. also super catchy and metal.. really good.
First off, I'm TRULY sorry about your dog, @TheRealEmperor! I have been down that road with various pets and I know that it hurts like hell!!! Now, you just caught my eye with what you commented on here with this other band. Have other reaction channels reacted to them?? I guess I can search them out on TH-cam and see... I get nervous with new bands because copyrights vary. If everything looks clear then I'd be honored to do a reaction to them.... thank you for your support and suggestions. Again, I'm sorry about your dog 😢
@@DannymikReacts First off, thanks for taking the time to reply to comments, that alone sets you apart from other reaction channels. I haven't heard Ari Ari, but I'm sure it's good, everything I've heard from them so far has been good!
@TheRealEmperor, I pride myself on being involved with my channel. I don't just release videos and run... interacting with my viewers is typically a VERY positive experience. I will admit that since I am growing that it is getting really difficult to respond to everyone. Some viewers stick out with a well written comment or something that catches my eye... that was you. Instead of just saying, react to The Hu - (pick a song) you added some "substance" to your comment and I appreciate that. People don't realize that it takes hours to complete one of these reaction videos. If there's minimal editing then you can release one somewhat quickly but I try to give you guys/gals a solid video (audio and video wise). Unfortunately, all the money goes to the record label no matter if I use 10 seconds of their video or 10 minutes of it.Regardless, I enjoy it all so there's that! Enjoy your weekend and please be careful out there. Stay healthy 😊🔥

Yuve Yuve Yu - Official Video is an excellent second song to react to. Very recent fan of The Hu. I love everything I've heard so far.
"Hu" was a war chant was used in the days of the Khan's. They are very traditional and carry-on a very old style of singing called Throat singing.

Let's all rise to the brethren code!
Mongolian (Morin khuur) Horsehead
fiddle solo
(Eagle and Horse sounds)
We all been lost, we all been cold!
Everyone rise to a brethren code!
We got your back! we all been low!
Let's all rise to the brethren code!
{Mongolian Throat singing}If you
come with evil intentions, we’ll give you a fight!
Ahh!
Ten of us will strike you as thunder
Hundred of us will shatter your
hearts
Thousand of us will destroy and obliterate
Ten thousand of us will hand you the
wrath of Heaven!
Woah!
Hu!
Woah!
Hu!
If you come as flood, we’ll fight
until death!
If you come swarming, we’ll scatter
you around!
If you come flying, we’ll shoot you
down with our archery!
If you come charging, we’ll slice
you with our swords!
We all been lost, we all been cold
Everyone rise to a brethren code
We got your back, we all been low
Let's all rise to the brethren code!
Woah!
Woah!
Let’s cut through them as speed of
flying falcons!
Let’s burn within as the hearts of
wolves!
Let’s stampede with our horses!
Let’s defeat them with the wisdom of
our Great Khaan, Chinggis
We all been lost, we all been cold!
Everyone rise to a brethren code!
We got your back! we all been low!
Let's all rise to the brethren code!
Hu - Hu - Hu- Hu, Hu - Hu- Hu -
Let' all Rise! To the brethren code!
Let’s all rise! th-cam.com/video/sv29DzgiXZA/w-d-xo.html
If this doesn't strike timid folks fear into the heart, nothing will.
Exactly... these guys aren't messing around! The production work in this video is badass as well. Thank you 👊💪✌
@@DannymikReacts Especially in these times, what we need is peaceful warriors that may conquer the world with music that is not for the timid of heart.
I'm sure someone suggested Jacoby Shaddix' English version with these guys
These guys were badass in their day under Genghis Khan they conquered the largest Empire the world has ever known for the back of a horse
You can get the words in english if you hit the closed caption.
Traditional Mongolian instrument «Morin huur» (Морин хуур)
Sugaan essena
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
This instrument name is morinhor
Awesome... thank you for the view and response! I want to do more of them in the near future 💪👏✌
@@DannymikReacts welcome 😊 brother and bid bol arslanguud (I'm lino)
Loved this song when it went viral and still love it! The horse fiddle looks and sounds similar to the Chinese fiddle (called erhu). The song sounds like a battle song. The “throat type vocal style” is throat singing. It is a common traditional style of singing with many nomadic and indigenous ethnic groups around the world.
As far as the throat-singing that they do I mean these guys can use their voices as a completely different instrument you'll see what or hear what I'm saying later in the song usually you only here like Chinese and Tibetan Monks singing like this
React yuve yuve by the hu band such a great song they've done.
Mister dannymikReacts we Mongolians are equivalent vikings of asia.. in other words mongolian people are more masculine then any other Asian race, it runs in our bloood.
What took you so long to discover these guys?
You mentioned not seeing Asians in bandanas...you should check out the Mongols Biker Club streaming through the country.
That sounds like 1 badass visual!! Thank you for the and comment. Please be safe and stay healthy ✌😎
Next react Blitzkrieg - Yngwie malmsteen (gitar cover by Ayu gusfanz) from Indonesia

Please react to the hu wilf totem with papa roach
The word Hu translates to English as human so they are actually the human band
If you’re looking for other metal bands with different languages, rotting Christ has all kinds of stuff. I’d love to see you react to 666 by them
Dude, there is a whole world out there of stuff that doesn't get any play here, but is badass and, yes, "cool". Samoan metal. Indonesian metal. Hijab metal. Maori metal. Check this one out: Alien Weaponry "Kai Tangata". th-cam.com/video/5kwIkF6LFDc/w-d-xo.html
@DannymikReacts After Mongolian metal.. how about a bit of India folk metal, courtesy of Bloodywood? th-cam.com/video/XfjTbY2NzsM/w-d-xo.html
Those guys are amazing.. bit of rapping, growling, metal, and traditional indian instruments.. really worth checking them out, I promise!!
Or this one, th-cam.com/video/2bldupcptbE/w-d-xo.html
I had to euthanize my dog last Tuesday, and holy shit this video hit me HARD.. it's a song about accepting loss and cherishing the moments you shared with loved ones.. also super catchy and metal.. really good.
Looks like they are safe.... or at least I think they are. What about a song called "Ari Ari"?? Maybe I can do a back-to-back on them.
Stay healthy 😊🔥
keep practicing "Throat singing" to achieve "Dune" powers
Sugan essena the hu
It's dramatic sound in but if you listen to it it sounds like a horse
You did a great reaction as always Danny, but man I can't get into this haha not my cup of tea.
Btw, Wes, I see that your subscriber count has really jumped in the last week. Once I hit 3k my channel really picked up for a bit.... just saying!
