2007 became a great year for movies Spider-Man 3 Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix Transformers Ratatouille Enchanted Fantastic Four 2 rise of the silver surfer Pirates of the Caribbean at worlds end National Treasure 2 Book of Secrets Shrek the 3rd Surfs Up that became the best year for movies since our childhood. Also Sweeney Todd directed by Tim Burton was also a great year for my parents to see in theaters before I got to see it on television as an adult.
I’m glad Ratatouille won the Oscar the part I don’t get is they couldn’t nominated Meet the Robinsons which is one of my favorite Disney movies of all time in 2007. Nominations best animated films Ratatouille Meet the Robinsons Surfs up Shrek the third And Beowulf those all are the greatest 2007 animated movies I ever watched.
So I did see another Oscar before this years. I was very happy for Brad Bird but I was over the moon when Zootopia won the Oscar for best animated feature as that film changed my life and restored my love for cartoons. Ratatoullie almost did it but Byron Howard and Rich Moore finally hammered it in that cartoons can be enjoyed by anyone no matter what age you are as long as there's a moving story that will make you believe in it it can be enjoyed by anyone. It's funny that 2 former Simpsons writers went on to be huge huge success's in Hollywood. The Simpsons made me feel good about watching cartoons and Zootopia completely convinced me how wonderful animation is.
