I think as an international hiker there is much more pressure to finish. Logistically its so much more work just to get in the country. Makes us strive harder.

Oh my gosh! You and your sister & nephew are all adorable! I enjoyed every minute of this interview! It clarifies some emotions for me. I’m still in the planning (massively obsessing) stages for a future pct... originally hoping to obtain a permit for 2021, but with the current covid situation so many things are uncertain. I am absolutely certain that hiking the pct is something that I MUST do whenever the universe allows. REI has a huge sale going on right now with a great discount on the Garmin inreach mini that I couldn’t pass up. (A sale I have been waiting for, honesty.) I knew it was a wise purchase, but hearing how helpful it was for your sister & family to be able to follow your dot warmed my heart in a reassuring way. I want that peace of mind and excitement to check it for my support system too. A huge heartfelt thank you to you AND your twin for discussing that!! 💖 Congratulations on the Van!! I can’t wait to see what you do with it!

Your so lucky to have a twin sister. I have identical twin boys that were born in 1995. Not sure how old you are. Fellow Aussies
