    I've searched everywhere for a first person parkour game with smooth animations that isn't dying light or mirror's edge, now I'm really satisfied to find that someone is making a game I strongly desire. Can't wait to spend hours playing this :))

    For the climbing animation, you could lock the player's camera to the wall that they are climbing to make the animation always be against the wall as I noticed when they are looking up, the arms seemed away from the wall because of the animations perspective.

    I see a lot of potential in this game! I look forward to future devlogs and I am eager to see the final product. I do have some critiques though. For the dash, I feel like it is too short and stiff, perhaps you could make the character boost a bit further. I also noticed that the arms are bit too far down and they look cut off by the screen, I feel like they could be lifted up a bit.

    The game is looking good. Really like the movement of your game it looks fun and smooth. Also the grappling hook solution is on point. Keep it up! :)

    For keybinds, it's fine to have omnikeys but make it so that each individual action is rebindable because some people hate omnikeys.

    I made a similar game with two other students last fall in about a month. We went with a spider theme for the grappling hook mechanic and we also had wallrunning. Your game definitely looks cooler though! Good luck with the project!

    For the grappling mechanic you could maybe do something like that : when the player hold the button the left hand rise and "aim" (with a handgun sight style thingy attached to the glove maybe or just a grapplinghook gun in the hand), when the player release the button the grapple is fired. That way the skilled players can just fast press and have the grapple hook the middle of the screen, and the newer players can just take their time to aim if they need

      That sounds like a good, alternative solution as well. I'll have a look at readjusting controls after releasing a beta version of the game.

    Just a suggestion, maybe increase the movement speed but who knows you know more lol

    looks good, maybe a ledge grab would help too. I have a project with similar movement and I found that in gameplay u make small errors with timing climbs and such so a ledge helps as a crutch. Its also satisfying assuming it doesn't completely stop momentum

    when you are climbing you can make the knife stab into the wall

    The bad edits at the beginning of the video make it hard to see the gameplay.
