Why is everyone upset from this To me this is most beautiful final boss fight in the series heck this game top tier animation and gameplay Compare other final boss in the series where it turns out their some divine beast or god that talks about humanity flaws and turns into a giant monster we got a boss who’s just a man which is cool
Don’t know why people hating on this final boss this was beautiful I was getting tired of fighting giant monster god for final boss but we get a someone with personality
Why is everyone so let down? Sure its wasnt the evil "This isnt even my final form" boss but I found it to be very beautiful, they fought as a pair and Lila got her closure. I loved this boss fight.

This boss is great, I love the duo that parallels your and Karja, awesome animations
This is why I like Ys all the way back to Ys one you see the enemies have their own personalities and motivations. There are no 1 dimensional characters in Ys.
Is it just me or does anyone else think that this final boss is a little overwhelming compared to the other final bosses. I mean yes it's a cool final boss but I myself was hoping for another giant boss
i think it's by far the best final boss from the modern ys games. it felt very appropriate to the story and the fight itself is really fun. the giant final bosses were rly annoying and boring to fight at times imo.
@jiragon2049 true but their designs were absolutely gorgeous but so were these two. I for one have not seen the full game yet so maybe my mind will change
@sazhenmari I just played the demo since I don't have the money to pay for the full game yet but I like it. Especially the Duo system which now that I think about it the final boss fits now
I beat the game, but man this game really sucked compared to the other ones. The level design on all the islands for the most part look-alike. Got really repetitive and the final boss the amount of times that the shield regenerates when you’re about to beat it. Nah what a waste. The final bus looks cool and all but to extend the fight for that long period of time that gets boring quick.
I think the problem is that what can you do by making a game that takes place in between the first two games and the third. It makes the game pretty limited in terms of location despite the franchise is well know for having limited locations.
It's a fictional world similar but different from ours, such as having magic and monsters or having two moons. Ys does "similar but different" for most of its in universe terms as well, most notably locations. The Rome equivalent is Romn, Gaul/France is Gllia, Denmark is Danmerk, etc.
This was such a step down from the former final bosses. What the hell was this? This wasn’t epic. This was just lame we went from battling two literal gods that could fuck the world over to two people who just happened to have the same powers as us

Yeah... Those big-ass bosses were starting to be too repeated... Akasha Glyph tho, it was a giantic needed for who it was as an entity...

I agree 💯

Lovely game, I miss it already. I really do hope we come back one day just to catch up

Man at 19:50 just beautiful scene right there
Holy!!!! How long you beat this game ? Metaphor truly long journey game compared with ys x lol😅
They're roughly the same length honestly, metaphor isn't as long as p5
60 hours to 100% Ys X thats how long it took me and 100 hours to 100% Refantazio.
I hope it is time for Adol Christin from Ys Series game for Super Smash Bros 6.
We will get the real final boss in Felghana :)
Sooo... This game is a prequel or sequel or midquel?😅
Awesome
WAIT HOW?!
wait, how come ????
W?
I didn't enjoy X nearly as mucb as IX or VIII but this final boss was amazing.

Spamming is for noobs

This was pretty big ending it all with a respectful 2v2 you don't get that alot

Avis éclaté au sol.

Wtf is a shield sister?! non scandinavian voice actors, ridiculous terms as well.

It's a fictional world that mirrors our world. It's basically how Westeros and the Far East is a mirror version of Europe and Asia.

not everything needs to be grand
Someone didn't play the game
One, one of these is in fact a literal goddess. Two, who fuckin cares?

she served one of the nordics' gods, but she herself isn't one.
