This 5th century village nestled in a mountain depression thrived in areas such as leatherworking, stationery.
Moustiers-Sainte-Marie is famous as the French capital of faience.
The true dawn in the economy of Moustiers Sainte-Marie began only in the 16th century, and was inextricably linked with the production of ceramics.
Since 1668, more than 20 faience workshops have supplied exclusive tableware and sets for the court of Louis XIV.

C'est un contentement de pouvoir visiter et admirer un tel vierge paysage.
il manque juste "l'étoile" qui est accrochée entre 2 pitons! c est pourtant une grande curiosité, unique en France! c'est vraiment dommage!
