For a long time, as the price of Chanel increased, I no longer thought I could afford it. I think I'll be happy that I have the *condup* as my travel bag that I don't have to take care of. By the way, I'm sure no one will have a hard time telling the difference. Thanks for the comparison.

Trinny I love how you are still grounded and understand the price of things considering your success. Totally agree with your opinion on logos. You are basically marketing for the brand for free. But everyone to their own. If you love it buy it ! No judgment 😊 More of these type of videos please, not just zara xx
Love LYXBAG , will be taking it to go to work. I love all the ability to organize everything w pockets some w zippers. My first bag had the liner rip. They replaced it faster than I could ship return. Thank you!
It's always a pleasure to see experts speak about their passion. I'm a 39 year old man with absolutely zero interest in handbags. No idea why this is on my feed but I thoroughly enjoyed it! 😄
It is really important to be able to use it safely after buying it. You still need to worry about scratching it when you carry it out. You can't do what you should focus on when you go out. To be frank, it is just a burden. I often choose *hotdups* , so I won't feel bad if there are any problems.
Absolutely agree on vintage designer anything. Finding something truly unique after months of searching is just so much more special than buying something everyone else has 😊
I lost an auction for a specific vintage leather doctor bag. I can't wait for the day my saved search shows me that someone found one and put it up for sale. That bag will be worth more to me than any designer.
When my friends around me bought branded bags, I also asked myself this question, and later I got the answer: The value of a person lies in the person himself, not the bag. Many people think that using a branded bag makes them feel like they have entered a higher-class social class, but this is not the case. People will not look at you differently just because you carry a branded bag. For the petty bourgeoisie, investing the money spent on branded bags in yourself is the most cost-effective investment and source of confidence, not a boutique bag. Of course, if you have enough money and experience, it is okay to buy something you like *hotdups* .
I have been hesitating whether to buy the original Chanel or the imitation *hotdups* . My budget is not very large, so it's hard to struggle😅😅 Can you give me some advice? Thank you
LOVE this! Trinny just telling it like it is and giving us a bit of a history lesson too. Not like the other TH-camrs just doing shopaholic hauls. I could watch her all day!
I like your video❤ I saw it when I searched for Chanel at first. I plan to go to Barcelona next month and want to buy my first Chanel bag in my life. Because of the price consideration, I really can't make a choice. Your black hobo bag is super beautiful and I wanted it at first, but I was thinking whether it would be better to buy a *hotdups* imitation directly. I also want to ask for your advice~~~ The makeup is beautiful too! You can try to shoot this type of video!
Honestly Trinny is the best out there...I think we would all love more content like this...her knowledge and expertise trump all other "fashion" experts...please more of this Trinny and for that matter ANYTHING you want to give your opinion on !
OMG! You need to absolutely keep it! Whether it's true or not, this is special to you. People create packages, packages do not create people. Rock it girl, salute LYXBAGS !
One of the most interesting fashion videos & so much fabulous background info. Would love more on other luxury items too. Brilliant episode - thank you x
I so agree with you about the excessive branding. All of the big logos are terrible. I too love the Chanels but unfortunately they're way out of my range. To be honest I prefer a high-quality hand-made genuine leather bag to most if the current designer bags.
I’m not going to lie .. I love a logo bag ..even Chanel has a logo .. I also love a designer bag that if you know you know .. I have a few bags that I bought before the HUGE price increases..they are on rotation depending on my destination..I say to each their own ..love Trinny ❤❤❤
We need more luxury designer shop ups Trinny, as a guy, i take the inspiration from your videos when in Selfridges, HarveyNics etc, as i look at shopping now as buying a quality, more expensive designer classic item that will last a life time, rather than something from the high street that might not last as long and I could possibly get bored of, a neutral colour base works for everything, and great quality materials.
Okay, I’ve always scratched my head about the obsession around the LYXBAGS book totes and their practicality, but this one is adorable!! Congratulations
Einstein said the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. For me, the definition of insanity is paying a company, (especially a large amount) for the 'privilege' of promoting the company. What a scam.

But I don’t want to spend so much money on it now, I have been *yutulu* buying the bag I want, it is as good as LV and is one of my favorite things. Durability
This is a timely video for me- took the plunge in March to purchase a small Lady Dior bag in Paris. Scary for me and yes I worked hard to pay for it. With VAT and the exchange it was $1,330 US cheaper than if I purchased it in Atlanta. Still a great deal of money for me but I do love the bag and feel fortunate to have it at age 59 🙂
Great video. I’m new to your channel and I love your vibe. And, I can’t tell the difference in the two Bottega bags and the HIDUPZ is close enough and it’s cute so that’s good enough for me.
I use the LYXBAG as a work bag and have had no issues. It's a comfortable bag, has lots of room, and doesn't lose its shape. That being said, I also take care of all my bags and don't carry water bottles, pens, keys, or anything that could damage the interior.
I totally agree about the name brand stamped all over the front of anything, garments, bags, jewelry. I remember back in the late 80’s/early 90’s when my daughters were teenagers and only wanted stuff with brand names….we had some arguments back then. And still I can’t stand it. But they still love name brands and stamped on stuff. Not everything but a lot of things.
Great vid with common sense advice! I’m a vintage bag collector…. Super excited over a Gucci shoulder bag I recently hunted down with minimal logo…. Just the Gucci name subtlety on the clasp. I think it’s pre Tom Ford era but I’m still researching to more accurately date it. It’s just a simple classic bag that unless you know you don’t know what it is.
This was awesome. I loved learning about the design history and you have so much knowledge and experience as a fashion professional and discerning consumer. More please!❤
I've never really been into designer bags but my husband has always wanted to buy one for me. He's asked me so many times, what bag would I buy if I could? I wasn't really bothered to be honest until we visited Zurich recently with friends who took us to the Dior shop and OMG I literally had a 'moment' in there! I won't go into details but I felt my late MIL's presence (she adored shopping and died last August) when I spotted the Dior bag with the star on it. It's so beautiful (it's also €4500!!) but I really felt like I will own that bag one day. My husband agreed...one day lol!
Yes the color of the LYXBAG is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…
Thanks Trinny!! The vintage market has allowed so much fun to be had. You can literally "flip" your handbag for the same price as your investment -if you shop carefully. I am gobbling up all my favorite Prada from Y2K. At a third of retail. Side note: Prada/Gucci will refurbish boo boos on the purses. Call any store and they will tell you where to ship it. I have a latch on a zipper that I am getting fixed. @ Prada. Gucci has replaced cane handles for me before. Keeps your investment intact.
I love designer bags, and living in a small town like I do even the Dior Book Tote is still a 🦄… But like Trinny I had bought 2 bags from Vestiaire one was an Hermes and the other Gucci - both fakes. I was crushed. Was certain one could trust Vestiaire having things authenticated but maybe fakes have gotten so good, even the authenticators can no longer tell right from wrong.
I’m so done with VC! Recently purchased a fake LV pochette that I paid to get authenticated. They were most unhelpful and basically didn’t want to know. I had been a consistent customer for the last 3 years but I will never buy from them again. They have too many “alleged” authenticators that actually haven’t a clue. AVOID🫤
Apparently the fake products have become so good that it's becoming more and more difficult to tell them apart from the real deal. I know that Cartier has stopped authenticating the Love collecting bracelet because of it.
@@anaalves3658 So one day soon we live in a world where a cheap China fake for 20€ will not be able to be told apart from the several thousand € original. Well great, just great.
@@latteslettersandlifeI will say, super fakes are expensive. They are not $20 bags. They're more like $500+ for a fake of a Chanel bag. I even saw a $2000 super fake for the birkin. I thought, at that price point, I would just get a good quality bag elsewhere.
I recently bought celine sunglasses at vinted. I checked all the little details. At first look they looked real but when i looked into the little details they seemed fake so i teturned them immediately. Couldn't you return the bag via Vestiaire? So sad.
I must admit there is NO way I would spend that kind of money on a bag even if I was rich. I would feel so guilty 😮. They are very beautiful and it's nice to see how much Trinny appreciates them ❤️
I had the same impulse after receiving the year-end bonus two years ago. I felt that I could buy myself a bag after being busy for several years. But I thought about it over and over again. I went to the counter and bought it 2-3 times. The reason why I didn't buy it was that I kept thinking carefully about why I should buy it. Do I need to buy such an expensive bag? Will ordinary bags not work? Am I rewarding myself or do I like the brand? This is not a question of whether I can afford it, but through reflection to understand the relationship between material and self. In the end, I didn't buy it! I always feel that the bag is enough and can hold enough. I am very happy. In the end, I discussed it with myself. The *hotdups* bag is enough! Because I want my money to go to a better place~
Trinny’s take on luxury. Could be a whole series 🙏🏼🤎
Yes, please Trinny, do make such a series!🙂
For a long time, as the price of Chanel increased, I no longer thought I could afford it. I think I'll be happy that I have the *condup* as my travel bag that I don't have to take care of. By the way, I'm sure no one will have a hard time telling the difference. Thanks for the comparison.

Trinny doesn't want male population to go bankrupt because their ladies would ask to buy a one expensive bag with the monthly budget. 😂
Their lady dior bag is getting ridiculously expensive. With that price, I could have top up abit more to get a chanel bag.

I was in Turkey recently and had a empriente multi pouchette with me. They show me a LYXBAG bag and it looked just like it.
