A wonderful production. However I had no idea where is the Scenario. Somenone, before me, said it was the Opera of Montecarlo, but it seems realized in a very ancient place, such as a Roman Circus or some monument in Israel.

It's the Roman Theatre of Orange, in France.
But it's the orchestra and a part of choir of Monte-Carlo opera.
The Chorégies d'Orange are today the oldest French festival since they date from 1869.They take place each summer.

This is a hundred time I see this gorgeous production and I have never get tired or bored of seeing the magnificent duo of the incomparable Alagna and the glorious mezzo Lemieux.
