ACMS 20th Anniversary Celebration

On June 4, 2024 the ACMS Celebrated the 20th anniversary of the establishment of our Ulaanbaatar office. The event was held at the Chinggis Khaan National Museum in Ulaanbaatar and was attended by over 100 ACMS members, representatives of the National University of Mongolia, The National Museum of Mongolia, the National Library of Mongolia, representatives from the United States Embassy in Ulaanbaatar, as well as representatives from several other foreign embassies in Ulaanbaatar. We highlighted the many ways the ACMS has contributed to the development of Mongolian Studies and the international partnerships and collaborations we have supported over these past 20 years.
American Center for Mongolian Studies (ACMS) is a non-political, non-profit educational organization of 501(c)(3) category that supports the development of Mongolian Studies and academic exchanges with Inner Asia. The activities of the ACMS include the development of academic resources, student and research support and the fostering of academic partnerships in all fields of study related to Mongolia. www.mongoliacenter.org

We should expand the scope and reach of our scholarly domain into the Manchu texts, Taiga-Siberian affairs, and western Eurasia, not only in today's political Mongolia, but also historical greater Mongolia from the Amur river to the Aral sea and beyond.
