    Very bad for the engine running at low rpm. Open her up man.... 👍

    I love this video!!! I would put it on a loop, as you said it is very relaxing. The pulses of the snow plume exiting the spout, you can almost feel yourself breathe easier at the length of the vid. Great job and post more of these if you can, I know it's been 2yrs but still best zone out snow blowing vid.

    Had a neighbor that would piles snow on the edge of the road with a bobcat and bucket . Wind would fill it back in level where snow was piled. Got to 9 ft +deep😮 Thank goodness for having a snowblower . Prevents that a bit

    Wow, now that is a long road. I think I would burn a tank of gas in my X580 making just one loop. The X580 does a good job though. I would add snow removal to mine if I didn't have to mess around with installing chains. Never had the best luck mounting chains to keep them from coming off the tires. Thanks for the video.

      I don't care for working with chains myself. I have a gx 345. I decided to go out and purchase used wheels and have them powder coated then I had Carlisle all trails put on them. Ordered my chains at the dealership. I got them on after taking the air out of the tires and moving the chains till I got them tight. Aired up the tires and now in the summer I run lawn tires. In November I jack the back up and just swap out the lawn tires and wheels for the winter tires with chains. I just make sure I have maximum air pressure and when storing them I keep them in a dry place in the garage off the concrete floor. No more fooling with chains. Just keep another set of wheels around. 👍

    Full throttle you should be able to do each edge first at almost full speed then the middle pass at half speed cutting your time in half

    Just some FYI , your killing your engine running it like that , that engine is designed to run at wide open throttle.. it cools the best and has the peak oil pressure , and builds enough cylinder pressure to expand the piston rings to create a proper seal and lubricate the cylinder walls properly.. your cutting its life in half.. not to mention what that does to the hydro pump etc… “Glad to see you up the RPM’s in the middle of the video..

      I was thinking the same thing. When I bought mine a couple months back, that is one of the exact things the dealer and lead mechanic said. They’re made to run open…

      from what I can tell the tractor was sitting outside cuz of the snow on it which means that motor is stone-cold along with the oil he was letting it warm up before he gave it everything it had

    is the snow blower raised with the hydraulics that the mower deck uses for its lift?

    • @amianinc
      @amianinc  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you are right. That is exactly how it is raised and lowered.

    I mean can a 580 do it? Yes. But I think maybe the x738 on the next round

    • @lyman135
      @lyman135 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Why? There is literally nothing the 738 would do any better in this scenario except cost way more money.

    How's that beast do with heavy wet snow? I'm looking at buying one of these and my main concern is the snow blower 'climbing' up as I'm driving forward. I remember my dad's blower attachment years ago would do this and it was horrible

    • @mattdeilke1142
      @mattdeilke1142 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have this same setup and the blower is heavy enough it will not climb. However like any blower if its too wet it wont throw very far and can clog.

      I have an x580 (2 yrs) replaced my x530. Basically the same unit only newer. I’ve been blowing snow my whole life (I’m way past 70). Especially with heavy wet snow always spray receiver, auger, impeller & chute with silicone regularly. And to reduce wear on the engine always run at full throttle. Oh yeah…LOVE my cab!

    • @bobfabbro2753
      @bobfabbro2753 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can modify the impeller to take care of heavy wet snow or buy an impeller mod kit from Amazon. There are several videos on TH-cam that explain and demo the benefits.

    Better investment would have been a truck with a plow!

    • @robertrockwell7581

      Derek Murphy hate plows. will not watch any video that uses plows. they are a waste. going over the same area multiple times when a blower blows it away the first time.

    360p Video resolution??? Wasn't this being used back in the 1950s???
    720P is not even considered HD these days!
    Come on now, time for a new camera of phone...
    Cheers

    I feel like with a driveway that long you'd be better off with a truck and plow. It must take 3 hours every time you have to do this with a tractor and blower.

    • @jackgraham3393

      What are you going to do when young out of space to plow the snow? Possibly if you are in area that only get a couple feet of snow, plowing might work, but not if you get 6 , 8, or 10 foot.

    • @lyman135
      @lyman135 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@jackgraham3393 I live near Buffalo, NY so we get plenty of snow. Who gets 8-10 feet of snow on a regular basis? You wouldn't be blowing it with a lawn tractor anyways.
