what am i doing wrong when i make the trunk it doesn't come out straight sometimes the trunk twists a bit or at the beginning the trunk is like it's bent are my settings wrong or do i just have shaky hands

It’s because you either don’t have uniform shapes turned on or if you do have it turned on try Turning off and then on again, hope this helps!
