I don't have Rec Room Studio but I still use unity to make VR games. After you get to learn everything about unity it turns from being really hard and frustrating to becoming really fun to use.

I’m not excited for rec room studio because I feel like stuff it going to look way to realistic for rec room, removing that rec room cartoony look and I feel like builders that are good with the maker pen but don’t have access to rec room studio will have a disadvantage at building great things.

You know what i'm mad with how rec room is handling this. They should be open to more people like smaller builders in the community who have been in it for years. You're only getting into the creation environment of rec room and you get RRS? (I'm no trashing on you i love your content you're a good content creator don't get me wrong) I'm just mad with how rr is handling this maybe backround checks things like that atleast something. Does anyone else agree with me? Awesome vid btw

When I get my hands on this, I will attempt to make working minecraft, hard to try but it’s possible with the power of unity.
First, I’ll need to create the snapping plug in, by transferring float to int then back to float, then multiplying it to the correct size.
Then I’ll need a ray cast trigger handle to know where to place the blocks.
Then I’ll need a delay system so that if you hold down the block, your inventory opens.
Then make a system in unity where blocks can clone themselves apon the click of the trigger handle.
Then make an if chip so that if you point at a block for 2 seconds then it deletes.
You can reply if you need my help with it.

I’m expierienced with ROBLOX studio so this would be a lot more fun and I would easily get the hang of it and also in unity it’s called scripts not circuits

The pink textures are because they are most likely the URP shader which makes everything pink because if you use 3d or 3d URP they will not work universally. That also happened to me and I was freaking out lol.
