If i placed an order for a table, roughly how long does it take before delivery and install
We keep over 300 pool tables in stock all year round, so if we have the model you are wanting it will be delivered in 1 to 3 weeks depending on where you are and your availability to receive it. If it needs to be made then lead times vary by manufacturer and model - items can be from 3 weeks to be made up to about 8 weeks. Some manufacturers take longer than this, plus you have allow for shipping time if it's coming from abroad. The best thing to do is to call our sales team (08006226464 or 01454413636) and they can run through everything with you and check with the manufacturer if needed - also bear in mind all foreign companies will have a summer shut down for about a month in July/August. I live in a block of flats on the 3rd floor I'm after a one peice slate table how Much does the slate weigh by itself roughly. Thanks
Hi Jack, it depends on the table, but most 6-7ft slates usually weigh around 120-130kg by themselves.

@@RedNffc, We do have an installation service that can assemble your table upstairs, but the charge does depend on how complicated the "journey" is from our van to the room you need it to go into. Just make sure you let us know in good detail what it will be like, and we'll be able to advise. :)
Besides the obvious.... is there any difference between the 3 slate option or a one piece? By that, I mean to the quality and how it plays... or in other words, which is better?
Honestly... None we've found when it comes to playability. The difference is very much reflected when it comes to installation. Sectional slates simply allow much bigger playing surfaces to be more manageable for delivery and installation. The biggest tournaments on TV almost always use sectional slates on their table for this reason. The "gaps" between sections are filled in with a filler to make the surface continuous, as if it were a single piece.
The only caveat with a sectional slate is that you're much, much more likely to spoil the table in some way if you try to move it without properly disassembling, so they very much need a professional to build and level the table.

I'm trying to find out how to properly assemble my American heritage britton pool table. Im more concerned where and when to level it
Levelling it throughout construction is your best bet (before the slate even goes on) then fine tune once the slate goes on. American pool tables are tricky to install at the worst of times, which is why we normally insist on leaving it to professional installers.
