Great design, not to heavy drawers, make easy acces to all your tools on a job so your boxes can stay stacked on a job, easy to disconnect to carry up stairs. Then >>> they screw it up on the rolling box. Try it out , it catches on the stairs 🙄
I just bought a set and added the drawer unit. You can access all your tools with the drawers in the middle and tool box on top. I put my portabke saw and jig saw in the bottom since i dont use them accept when i do flooring . I just take them out then stack the other boxes on top for easy access o the tools 👍 PS , the drawers also are not heavy like the other brands out there. Portability is good for going in and out of jobs ...
I have this full system and love it. Picked it up for a great price during the Memorial Day sale. My one gripe is that if you put anything heavy into the drawers (box wrenches etc) there’s enough flex in the plastic that the drawers pop open on their own with any vibration whatsoever . Still for what I paid (less than 1/3 of the pack out system )I still love it
Went to Lowes. Gave tool-man the skew product number. He grumbled a bit, got a ladder, went to the middle of the store and found the box. This was in Rome NY, middle of no where really, so your Loews has probably got it. It's not light weight, pretty tough, and has high quality drawers and slides. You can pull the drawers off the slides with little levers. The top looks like it's a hinged lid as one reviewer pointed out. But it's screwed in place from under, inside the top drawer. Give it a week, someone will hack it into a functional lid. It can't posdibly be IP63 rated like the other boxes. At $100, it's too expensive. But I like the TradeStack. I have all the pieces so far. But the piece is priced too high for most people I suspect.
I have tstak and tradestack. Just got a few of these drawer boxes. They are awesome! I just wish that they were water proof!! Also I wish they they made a dolly or that they could attach wheels to these, and I also wish they were lockable!! But anyways, tradestack is sweet.
They should do a 1 drawer unit. Definitely an advantage at a customers home on repairs. You don't have to unstack to access tools !! I'm thinking these 2 drawer units are heavy loaded.

Love this, I’m planning to get two of these, but waiting on a sale so I can hopefully pick up for $80 or $85 per, as $99 is a bit too much. I also like the idea someone else mentions that is to come out with a 1 drawer unit that has more headroom for larger items.
I picked 2 more up a month and a half ago for $58 each. they marked them down at select lowes. gotta love regional pricing. they've since gone back up but check your local lowes, you might get lucky
I bought this and realized there is a seam in the underside of the top, a hinge, and cutouts for hinge stops, which suggests the top has another storage section inside the lid, but I cannot figure out how to open it to save my life. This is not on Lowes or Craftsman’s website so no resources, and the only videos I can find don’t talk about the lid. Anyone have this and noticed the same? Feeling really dumb
Actually followed the instructions of the web article on this and got the tool guy at Lowes to get a ladder and bring the one box down that had two in it. Wanted to buy both, but at $100 you have to be an idiot to but just one, but I did because hey, Tradestack! Right. Well yes it does appear to be a hinged top on the drawer case, and the drawer slides are high quality, so can pull the drawer out and see three screws coming upward under the lid. Those probably hold the lid in place. I have to assume that the design is a modification of an already our box, and since molds are already produced. minimal modifications made this product posdible. I did not take the screws out yet, but there may be some space under it for wrenches, but some hack would have to be made to make it a functional lid. Perhaps putting latches on the sides? It's a good point you make. I too would like to open the lid.
@@markmurto Very interesting. It would surprise me if someone cutout the bottom of the top drawer and made it a single deep drawer. Interesting find on the lid. Definitely agree that it’s probably modifying and existing box/part for the new drawer unit.
Could be for some type of future design. Another youtuber tool in hand actually opened the thing but had to modify removing it. As far as I know it's not necessarily to be used on this drawer system.
I didn't no craftsman had a drawer system. Thanks for the video I may consider removing my tstak, versastack system for these. Take a look at my video of my drawer set up.
Sockets will fit but a great option is the 262 piece versastack mechanics set. This will attach to the tradestack via adapter that comes in tradestack rolling box.
It's not online. It's in store only and in top stock or might be on the shelves. Most likely top stock. Lowes is having technical issues with inventory inconsistencies in many products. All the tool brands they sell are being affected. That's why you must go in store for new items.
the system itself is water resistant. all the drawer systems on all the brands when it concerns drawer units are not water resistant. but the closed drawer does make it so there is either no or minimal water intrusion. i have never had water penetrate the drawers but i never took them out in the rain either. i also have the milwaukee packout drawers and it's the same situation

Look in topstock near where they keep the tradestack and written in marker on the box should be this item number. It's not online so don't bother looking. You have to do your due diligence and homework to find it.

You need a test going up and down stairs , obviously, you need to stack and unstack them to go up down stairs

So I have a question, why is there a hinge on the back of the 2 drawer trade stack? There is no way to open the top.

The bottom tradestack on wheels comes with a versa stack/tstak adapter! I'm looking into tradestack for the bottom of my tstak Tower

Yes but then that would leave a big gap and if driving with it in the truck the potential for something to spill out becomes a possibility
