This is so awesome!!! I've been crocheting for ummm omg! 50 years, lol wow!! Anyhoot, this is my very first shawl and I worked to line 6 along with you and I'm loving this!! Thank you for such an amazing tutorial! It's for my Auntie Pat birthday Sept 19th... yeah, I'm leaving it a wee bit late, but I'll get it done! Hugs from Ontario, Canada!
This is the pattern that I’ve landed on for what is promising to be my first successful shawl. A lifelong knitter, who here to Four has only single crocheted edges around the occasional vest, I am beyond thrilled. Thank you, Dr. MRO, for making this video and providing a transcript. 🤩🙏🏻💖
Hello, I really like your stitch, I made a shawl for my sister according to your instructions, everyone in my crochet group is delighted with the stitch and asks about it, so I recommend your video, I'm looking forward to more simple and beautiful tutorials Warm greetings from Poland ❤
Great pattern. Lovely shawl. Your instructions are great. Just one critique some would find the color gloves you are wearing distracting because it's the same colors as the yarn you are working with. I will surely follow you for more. Great job
Thank you for watching. That's excellent feedback! I'll be more conscious of what's on or near my hands and make sure if I'm wearing gloves that they aren't similar to the color I'm working with. Thank you so much!!
Thank you! I know Red Heart has some but I've found a shop on Etsy that has comparable weight yarn in the US. It might be worth checking out this shop. Happy crafting! www.etsy.com/shop/MelodyyByWolltraum?ref=shop-header-name&listing_id=515445862
Hi there! I did use an entire cake. It was 1000 meters (about 1093 yards). I got this particular cake from an online shop called "Jollyknits". Happy crocheting to you!
The yarn is cotton and it's called "Ombreccino Mandala". I bought it on Etsy from a shop called "Woollyccino". You can find it here: www.etsy.com/ie/shop/Woollyccino?ref=profile_header
Thank you. I used cotton yarn (1000 meters) and once I blocked the shawl it turned out to be 6 feet wide and about 4 feet long. It would also depend on how tight you crochet but it has some great wrap!
I have had a lifetime of crochet, and love your patterns. I started this one now. Thank you so much.
This is such a kind thing to say. Thank you so much! Happy continued crocheting to you!

My pleasure!
Thanks so much, I don’t always have access to the internet.
Is it possible to get a written pattern for this shawl?
I don't have one *yet* but I can certainly jot something down! I'll post that soon!
How many yards of yarn is required?
For this shawl I used 1000 m (1094 yards).
Very clever pattern, and explained so well. Thank you!
