- Tried to make a Beat Saber map of my favorite fragment from Stage 4 of The Caretaker's Everywhere At The End Of Time album. I am by no means a skillful Beat Saber mapper or player in general (as you can tell by my inability to beat my own map flawlessly, lol), so I guess this job could have been done much better, but whatever.
Original is H1 - Stage 4 Post Awareness Confusions from Everywhere at the end of time by The Caretaker.

I love how fragmented it feels... Like memories of how hardcore beatsaber was are trying to come back into frame... Only to be met with a long wall of drone, as if the purpose of beatsaber is forgotten.

This one section had to be the most cinematic part of everywhere. The whole thing was unnerving, but god this part is so brilliantly executed. It makes you feel irl dread, which is something many film scores can only dream of. The dark context helps it along for sure, but just what a piece of music.
OHMAGOSH imagine a movie where bits of the music/soundtrack are from EATEOT. Like a situation then suddenly boom you hear It's Just A Burning Memory and then you and the others who know about the album will probably have mini heart attacks while those who don't know the context behind the already slightly creepy music would be wondering why a bunch of people just got scared. Or a scene where someone is going to investigate some weird place and when bam! The infamous horns of the Hell Sirens start playing. Those unfamiliar with EATEOT would definitely be spooked and unnerved while people who are familiar with the album would be screaming internally, some externally then the people who don't know about the album would be wondering why so many people were getting repeatedly freaked out by the movie's soundtrack.

Yeah, I decided to do the whole album. But I'm gonna make one map for each stage; making one 6,5 hours long map (especially playing it) would be too crazy

Most of stages 4 and 5 have different inputs on the channels I think, although it could be compressed to mono.
@@bovineking8927 That could be true, if the other stages 4 and 5 use different inputs for the same sample. (L1 is known for having different samples for left and right channels)
@@CsQ_RandomRepository Pretty sure the beginning of G1 has C2 in one channel and D5 in the other.
If I had to Beat Saber the entire album, I think I'd end up running around hitting actual people with actual swords.
Oh dear. That does sound funny but in order to get to that extent your mind would have to get really messed up and broken which I'm guessing would probably happen if you played the entirety of EATEOT on Beat Saber.

In a way this beat saber map represents the person with stage 4 dementia trying to to fight their way through the disease to remember something, ANYTHING.
