You guys think Mochi Bear is a long name. My current fur brat's full name is "Random Cat 237" Although I usually call her "237" for short. She also is nicknamed "The Fuzzy Felon" Its an ongoing joke that 237 is her prison number because she literally broke into our house to be a part of the family.
in one video katelyn called her like "joobie loves?" bc they were tempting her with ham and i heard, "joobilious?" and for the longest time i thought that was her name
I thought the same thing. I think it's because my parents and I have a dog named Jubilee (short for Jubilation Lee a.k.a. the full name of the Marvel character Jubilee) and her most frequently used nickname is Jubi. We do have a bunch of other nicknames for her that are shortened versions of Jubilee.
Kinda like with our cat. Her actual name is "snupse" which is danish for like, stealing but in a fun way kinda thing. My dad gave her the name because the furst thing she did when she got to our house for the first time was jumping up on tge kitchen counter and stealing our bread. Now we just call her Mis which is the danish version of kitty lol
When my cat steals bread or muffins I call him Jean Valjean. So you calling your cat Mis just makes me think of Les Mis. Even though it’s not related it works, lol.

0:55 To be clear for viewers Japanese mochi can have ice cream in it, but does not normally. In fact most commonly its eaten either raw or with sweet red bean paste in it (delicious!).
Looked up the referenced video where they first call her "supervisor". I don't want this to get spam filtered so I won't link, but it's entitled "DIY coat rack organizer shelf... thing | Woodworking how to" at time 1:12. Also Joobie is such a cute name :). Supurrvisor too. I've been calling my cat the Purrject Manager when he watches me do stuff around the house as a shameless ripoff.
I have a cat Swiffer, full name Swiffer Wet Jet. Like the mop. She also gets called Swiffles and Swiffy a ton. I have another cat named Squash as in the Vegetable but he's often called Squishy, cause he's angry and when he was a kitten he was stepped on by the person who found him. My cats have interesting names....
I had a cat named Mocha who I've always thought looked identical to Joob, it's so cute that their names are so similar!! unfortunately he passed when he was only two years old, but his littermate Muffin still lives with me and is now 9 💓
A funny anecdote, my sister in law has a cat she brought in from the barn that she named Bandit. One would think that meant he was very sneaky and brave. Nope, biggest scaredy cat you've ever seen. Also, he has sprinted through the kitchen into the dining room into the living room and launched himself onto his cat tower. That cat does not know the meaning of stealth.
We have two cats, and the girl is often called "little Goyle" like you would say girl with a heavy new York accent (we are from Montana, no accents). So naturally, my partner started calling our boy cat "Boyle". I hated it at first, but it stuck.
One of the best parts of having a pet is coming up with new nicknames for them all the time. Our dog Jubilee has the most nicknames of any dog we've had so far. We call her Jubi, Jubes, Jujube, Jubbers, Jubberfly, Jubalicious and the list just goes on.
Hey, for almost a year of her life, my parents’ cat (pebbles) was called “lil bit”, but she also responds to “pebs”, “pebbly-butt”, “miss thang”, “butt”, and “little miss”.
This is very meta and I enjoyed it! I’m stoked about the short form clip channel, I feel like it’s a good preview/teaser for the full podcast, especially given your personalities. You two are both so fun and cute together and it’s great to hear more about Joob :)
I had one like that. I found a newborn kitten in a rain gutter and bottle raised him. I was going to adopted him out so I never gave him a proper name I just said he looked like a bear cub and somehoe his name turned into cubby
Evan describing how Katelyn is like that kind of mom who says the kid is named one thing but it has a different spelling, that is me with my animals. Ivery, Irys, Fynlei (finlee), Salym (salem)
I had a cat that I named Sherlock but my mum hated that name and called him cutie face then choochie face then choochie then chooch and it just stuck but she would never call him chooch at the vets then he was always Sherlock... my mum ended up corrupting him and he would only ever answer to chooch in the end so even I started calling him chooch.
One of my cats /was/ named Charlie. He was a stray along with his sister, who’s name is Lyric, and we got to name them. The name Carlie lasted maybe a month. Until my dad started calling him Pudge, because he was, and still is, a very big cat. Then my brother started calling him Pudge. Then /I/ started calling him Pudge. Eventually my mom gave up and said she’d name her next cat Charlie.
I adopted a dog named Jack. He loved to attacked us with kisses, so we called him Jack Attack. Now he’s known as Attack or Mr. Attack. Same thing with the nickname Baby.
We named our cat after Hercule Poirot, because he liked the sound of his own voice, he had a cute lil mustache, and he was a long haired tuxedo gentleman. His name devolved from Mr. Poirot to Poirot to just Mister. Our other cat (and his litter sister) became Miss Marple aka Missy (although Hissy would be a better fit)
I had a cat named Sagawa and he had a few nicknames. Less creative and in depth story, but this reminded me of himand I thought you'd get a kick out of it. They were, Sog'a'ma'wa, Baby boi, My Child, Butt and B.B.
Many years ago my mother rescued a cat and kept her. She looked a bit like a wild cat regarding the fur pattern and she started to call her "Lieschen" (Cute form for Liese or Lisa). After some years I developed another name while playing with her and so she became "Pieze" 😂 I don't know why, but it was the perfect name. She was a really brave and inspiring cat, that wouldn't listen to either name. Sometimes she gave us the illusion of following our calls😅
I swear TH-cam/Google has infiltrated my mind because last night I was watching one of your videos and thought to myself “I wonder where Joob’s name came from and what her real name is?” And I swear I didn’t say it or type it anywhere- and tonight this video was the first thing recommended to me 😂 On another note, I have a black cat, too (though she’s not as fluffy) and I also call her bear!
I think the nickname Joobie is adorable! She reminds me so much of my first cat Floyd - like a slightly smaller ladycat version of him - in the way she looks, but her love of tape reminds me of my cat Barney, who also loves tape. Although his first choice is packing tape. I always love when you have her in your videos. All my cats have nicknames, because it is just so fun to give them nicknames that kind of fit them once you figure out what their personality is a bit more.
Our cats seem to get new nicknames every other month. The most recent was Mr. Kittipers for my male cat D'artagnan. It's pronounced like calipers with Kitty replacing the Cali.
Under Evan & Katelyn's work bench the angry Joob waits and waits for her masters to return. Next as Evan & Katelyn walk into Joobs trap she attacks them then runs off into the living room. As they go and try to find Joob she attacks aging and ask for her hamm. Then Evan & Katelyn build and catctus so the angry Joob calms down. I used this for a class project
This cat is my spirit animal. LOL We’ve been down the same roads 😅 From an incorrectly spelled & odd first name- to the nickname JooB; which is how everyone knows me 🤣 Wild hahah
I really want to get a cat and name it bean. When I was little I called green beans “bean beans”, and I think it would be very cute to call a cat “come here bean bean!”
Our one cat follows us into the kitchen and then flops in the middle whenever we're cooking. We occasionally call him "the Doofus' or "Doofy Boy" because he is sometimes quite the Doofus. But when he's in the kitchen watching us / getting in the way we call him the "Stuporvisor"
My parents have a dog named Jewel, but as nicknames they call her Jujube, Juju, and Joob. She’s a bichon frise, so she’d a floofy powder puff of a dog, so maybe there is something about “joob” and “Jujube” making people think of fluffy things.
My cat was originally named Gravy. Then a week later of getting we decided to name him Gizzmo, because of the Gremlin movies our family watched when I was younger. But now me call home momo as a shorter nickname, my friend are pretty weirded out when I just yell “MOMO” while I’m on the phone 😂
*chuckles* I think her name and her nickname are adorable. Love them both honestly and think spelling it unique is fun. There's also no shame in calling her Turd at times LOL. I am a parent of 3 sweet kitty girls and one doggy girl and I call them all turds at times cause they just act well... like a turd at times. I think it's just their sweet furry nature. 😂😂😂
“You don’t say it like this but you spell it like this” lmao I found out I’ve been saying my name wrong my whole life. Apparently it’s alizandra not Alexandra so that’s cool. I can relate to Joob
When I adopted my rabbit I named him Ethan Mark-Annus Nesquik, Mark-Annus was a placeholder middle name (bc I'm stupid) and his nicknames became Eepin and Beepin Eepin. His government name is Ethan Ayala, so his middle name is now up in the air lmao.
I do this too. My cat’s name is Curly to everyone outside of my house. At home his name is meaty/meats/metticlon/turdsboy/bosomboy, etc etc etc for infinity
I can relate 😂 our cat's name's Tommy but my brother and I invented countless nicknames for him (mainly combinations/synonyms of fat, fluffy and his signature sound) and barely call him by his formal one 😂👌🏻 Möppi, Döppi, Möp Döp, Möp Möp, Fetti, Fettuccini (creative combo of "fat" and "fettuccine" pasta 😂) and more
i love nicknames for pets that are so far from the animal's real name that you couldn't guess what the name actually is. my family calls our cat "jubba" and "porgington". his name is george, lol
My dog's name is Jack Edward, Jack after Little House on the Prarie and my grandpa is named Edward. We call him Jackie, jackiepoo(he's a poodle), and I call him bucko. He replies to anything as long as you give it a cutesy tone
I have a kitty called "Pfötchen" (translates to little paw) because on of her paws has a bright yellow fur and the rest of her fur is black with some slight yellow patches
my cat's name is Captain Jack Sparrow because of the sheer audacity he has in doing anything. We call him sparrow, bubba, little turd (when he's in serious trouble) mostly we call him bubba or sparrow. sometimes we call him captain as well.
we have a cat called buddy because his name was popcorn and my brother (whose cat it is) kept shortening that to "pops", but that's also what he calls his dad so he said it felt weird and he would have to think of another name. in the meantime he would just say "c'mere, bud/ buddy!" as in "come here, friend" and he just never got around to actually thinking of another name, so he became buddy. i call him bubba fett.
My cats legal name is Piper Cat, but her nicknames are baby kitty, monster, smol, Tiny (atm thats what she responds to) and any sound that sounds like a treat bag lol
This is just like my sister’s cat. Her room mates found the cat in the streets and took it in and they named it something like Apollo. I can’t remember but she hated the name so she just calls him Bok Bok.
That's actually funny because my little brother called me "Wahoo" for no reason when he was like 2, and it stuck as a name for something cute, and I'm planning on naming a pet Wahoo because of it. My name is Alyssa, we have no idea where he got the name Wahoo haha. I guess little brothers have a weird way of coming up with names for big sisters haha.
Thank you TH-cam for recommending this video, I thought I was already subscribed to all your channels and wasn't subscribed to this one :( My parents have a cat my sister named Bunny Rabbit, because she used to hop when running or when starting to run. My family often refer to her as Baby Bunny Rabbit, and often just Baby or Bunny. She turns 20 this year holy crap. I call my cat Isis Momma a lot, even though she has never been one, and doesn't mother my other cats (Occasionally, she will give my youngest a few licks, but generally she hates the other 2 and 100% prefers the company of humans)
I thought her name was Joob until I saw this video title.... I never questioned it My cats official name is Belle Poo Kitty, we call her Poo Poo or Scar ((yes, from Lion King cuz she's a heathen))
Over the years my family has had many cats… from the classic black cat named Midnight to the longest Jasmine Marie, to the impressive Empress. Midnight had until she was 8 or so, my half sister left her outside and she ran off. Black cat with a small white patch on her chest. Boots or Bootsie had until 18 or 19 was recently put down so she wouldn’t suffer. Tuxedo Ruth Ann, found as a kitten asked around didn’t belong to anyone, still have her. She is 8 or 9 now. Tabby with orange spots, looks like she was stained by the red Georgia clay Romeo, found as an adult thought he was a girl because it was so cold out, we believe he is 9 or 10, brown tabby Stella Luna, born in our house to my sister friend’s cat and a male my sister adopted, was a singleton. 5 years old. Dilute Calico Jasmine Marie, found as a stray at a school, adopted so Stella wasn’t the only kitten, 5 years old. Calico Empress, age unknown outside cat, fed and cared for her for 2 years before she passed. She helped raise my dog, and passed on his 2nd birthday… Calico Holly, the youngest, a stray found as a kitten, always hungry, is now a bit chunky. Just 1 year old. Chinchilla Tabby. Tybalt, the newest inside, for the longest time my family thought he was a she, been caring for him for 6 months. Maybe 2 years old. They all have nicknames as well maybe I’ll share
"My" cat who me and my siblings named Noir (because he's got black fur) is often called little man, kitty, sewage boy, stinkos peepee, and several different swear words.
That’s like my uncles dog who is actually named barrel but he only comes to the name Nien because my uncle had a German friend who would say that to him all the time since he wasn’t the most well behaved puppy lmao now he only comes to that name and knows a few phrases in German despite none of us actually knowing it other then the friend
My dog's name is Sunny, but my roommate messed up while calling him a puppy once and now we most often call him 'Bupis'. Honourable mentions go to 'Mr. Sunshine,' 'Sunny Bunny,' 'Sun Bun,' and 'Trash Gremlin'
My Cat's Name is Sebastian Hashi, at start, just Hashi, but he chose to aswer to the neighbour cat's name, soo... But usually I call him Pipito, Tataa, Vaca(cow in portuguese)... And soooo many more... 😂
My cat also has a few names. Formal name is Cece. We call her kitty most of the time and throw in a ‘s#!t head’ once in a while when she’s being one. LOL. She responds to kitty though.
You don’t even have to give your kid a weird name to be that way! My sons name is Christopher and I will forever correct it when someone calls him Chris. If I wanted him called Chris- I’d have named him Chris. But then I gave him Alxandar as the spelling for his middle name😂 whoops😂😂

Do you call her two-three-seven or two hundred thirty-seven?
@@Jehty_ I call her a royal furry pain in the $@#! All Joking aside the way that part of her name is pronounced is, "Two Thirty-seven"
My cats full name is wan Sanchez vialobos Ramirez, he's a pretentious little man with half a mustache
Mine is Skippy Jon Jones because of the kids book series. But he's usually called Skippy, Skippedy, SkippyDoo, SkippedyDooDah or Kippy
So Joob is her hood name. And Mochi (not sure how to spell it) is her government name. Got it.
I literally was about to say that
I thought the same thing omg lmao
I was thinking the same thing and Supurrvisor is her stage name
U spelt it right i think
And her title is Supurrvisor

I've been watching since the beginning and I love the crafts you do and how for you have come since the start
I have a kitty called "Pfötchen" (translates to little paw) because on of her paws has a bright yellow fur and the rest of her fur is black with some slight yellow patches
My dogs name is Mocha and her ears perked up when you said mochi bear 😂
lol. ever since i was a baby, me and my mom have called birds "jeebs" and we still do, and i named my parrot jeeb
Mochi Bear was my late kitty’s name but it was actually Mochi St.Bear of the House of Yoshi the first of her name.
my cat's name is Captain Jack Sparrow because of the sheer audacity he has in doing anything.
We call him sparrow, bubba, little turd (when he's in serious trouble) mostly we call him bubba or sparrow. sometimes we call him captain as well.
Mokey is a fraggle lol
As someone who had a cat named Twilight that answered only to Keytan, I related to this.
Hey E&K, I want to let you two know that I have an orange version of Joob. He’s almost exactly the same shape and fluff ratio
Please give him pets for me
I have a cat named CC and another named Edgar Allan Paw. I also call them by every other possible nickname including turd xD
we have a cat called buddy because his name was popcorn and my brother (whose cat it is) kept shortening that to "pops", but that's also what he calls his dad so he said it felt weird and he would have to think of another name. in the meantime he would just say "c'mere, bud/ buddy!" as in "come here, friend" and he just never got around to actually thinking of another name, so he became buddy. i call him bubba fett.
wow I want to talk about my pets' names but when I think about it I realize that they are unique enough that doing so would so be doxxing myself 🤷♀️🙈
I never questioned it
My cats official name is Belle Poo Kitty, we call her Poo Poo or Scar ((yes, from Lion King cuz she's a heathen))
Omg I got an ad for cat food right before this video
Lol i have a cat that looks like a bear called Bear but we call him Buggy cuz he reminds us of a bug with his eyes XD
Tuxedo
Ruth Ann, found as a kitten asked around didn’t belong to anyone, still have her. She is 8 or 9 now. Tabby with orange spots, looks like she was stained by the red Georgia clay
Romeo, found as an adult thought he was a girl because it was so cold out, we believe he is 9 or 10, brown tabby
Stella Luna, born in our house to my sister friend’s cat and a male my sister adopted, was a singleton. 5 years old. Dilute Calico
Jasmine Marie, found as a stray at a school, adopted so Stella wasn’t the only kitten, 5 years old. Calico
Empress, age unknown outside cat, fed and cared for her for 2 years before she passed. She helped raise my dog, and passed on his 2nd birthday… Calico
Holly, the youngest, a stray found as a kitten, always hungry, is now a bit chunky.
Joobervisor. Lol. I love that even more than Supurrvisor. 😊😍
XD This is a mood. My cat's name is Tesla, but I more often call him Booble or Booble-bap or Nugget.
I have two black short hair kitties and since watching your videos hav accidentally called one of them Jooby so many times instead of baby. XD
Our tuxedo is also Moki but also spelled Moki 😂😂😂
My Cat's Name is Sebastian Hashi, at start, just Hashi, but he chose to aswer to the neighbour cat's name, soo... But usually I call him Pipito, Tataa, Vaca(cow in portuguese)... And soooo many more... 😂
mochi bear is a cute name! But I feel like Joob and Supervisor fit her. (love your videos) :))
I love that you have Pickle as your pic!
Mochi bear nice
My cats' names are Luna and Nox, but their full names are Lunatic and Obnoxious, because that's far more fitting to who they are
My cat also has a few names.
