Thank you so much for preparing and sharing this video! I've been on the fence about this item for a few days and you addressed all of my concerns. Again, thank you and God bless you for putting my mind at ease before making this purchase.
Good video sir. Video volume is on the low side, but overall a great demonstration and explanation of this attachment. It chinched it for me to add this to my 225 attachment collection. 😎 I've been using my Echo 225 for a good 10 years now and it's still going strong!
One issue on the pole pruners. If your bar gets pinched fourteen feet off the ground... You are probably going to be facing a repair bill. Lol. Ask me how i know. Generally this happens while trying to cut the maximum size limb. Just be careful. Other than this. These are handier than a shirt pocket.
Good video. I'm considering attaching a pole saw attachment to my ECHO SRM-225. Plan on using it for cutting Autumn Olive and save my back from bending down. My information says that the 225 is not suitable for a pole saw attachment. Obviously, you've proven them wrong. How difficult was it to remove your trimmer head and attach the pole saw attachment? Thanks in advance.
Any suggestions on how to modify/shorten the attachment? Like you I started out with the Ryobi and found the length without the extension to be perfect for 90% plus it was so much more ergonomic vs the Echo at standard length. Basically it seems the attachment needs to be 18"-24" shorter. If I dive into a mod, I will post a video and link here. Thanks for the great review.
Hi, I have the exact same power unit from echo (pas 225) and I’ve been if thinking about getting the pole saw and 3 foot extension in the future. I’m just wondering how long is this tool with the saw and 3 foot extension would be? I also have the same “manual” pole saw shown in the beginning and wondering if the reach is similar to that. I think I have the 16 foot version of the saw.

Glad it was helpful!
I have one, great tool. Little weighty ,but when extended it's more manageable. Saves on safety and getting a person in.

Hey bud, I know echo sells a hedge trimmer that is a little shorter, but it's a stand alone product. Check out Echo HSC-225S
Thanks for the information 👍
Just got one for my 225 but I’m going to get the 2620t Kombie!
Good choice, the 2620 is supposed to be great.
Sorry to ask if you've already answered but will this attachment fit on my Husqvarna weed eater? If not, is there a conversion kit available?
Thanks
Great Review 👍 👌 Thanks
I have a Honda versaAttach 35cc power head do you think this attachment could be used with Echo prunner??
I highly doubt it will work with that power head.

I have the 225 PAS powerhead, 3 ft extension and pruner. From the tip of the chainsaw to rear of the trigger is 9 ft 8 inches.
Good review
