Wish you did the Rogue Cut. If you have time, I’d watch the rogue cut. When Kitty gets stabbed in the future and is bleeding out, there crew get Rogue to finish the job. It’s pretty awesome.
In the comics, the mutant with the power to go back in time was actually Jean Grey and Cyclops' daughter, Rachel Summers. She doesn't exist in the Marvel movie universe yet, so they gave that power to Kitty Pryde for this movie instead. Normally, Kitty can only phase.

X-Men Days of Future Past is the best comic book movie ever made. I could go on for hours, geeking out about this movie alone. From the cinematography, set design, writing and acting, everything in X-Men Days of Future Past is stellar. So many great moments. So many great lines
Fun fact:
Peter Dinklage is actually a recast of Bolivar Trask. We first saw the character in X-Men: The Last Stand. He was played by Bill Duke (the black soldier in Predator).

They added in Quicksilver after hearing that Marvel wanted to have him and Scarlet Witch in Age of Ultron. Originally they were supposed to have Jugglenaut instead.

In the comics Bishop was the one going back in time but for the movie they added the powers to Kitty
As much as I love this movie they could’ve explained the time travel better, we know of mutants with multiple powers but kitty could be easily explained as her original powers being able to slip through space and further powers slipping through time, then instead of Logan being the only one able to make the trip because his mind “heals” (since we know he lost part of what made him himself after being shot with adamantium bullets) say he was the only one that couldn’t die if he was sent back, seeing as if the person who was being sent back died it would massively and seemingly irreversibly impact the timeline.
I'm sorry but I feel the plot is trash. Mystique is a shapeshifter basically and her powers had nothing to do with adapting. Now if you tell me that they captured Darwin ( highly not gonna happen because of his powers which is adapting and self preservation basically) and did this experiment then I'll believe you

Wait, I feel like you think these movies are new. So basically marvel fox and Marvel MCU were two different things at one point. So the movie you’re watching now is the marvel fox movies. This movie came just before Pietro was introduced. Two different Quicksilvers but the same if that makes sense.
