Yes, rightly said.. he is just an above average player who got 10k+ runs with above 50+ average that too batting at the bottom for most number of days. now India team is the most terrifying team for other teams .I would give full credits to Dhoni for that, he is the one who brought in the fitness concept in cricket. He believed that not only batting and bowling but fielding is also important in cricket.. and he stood by example, now kholi just took it to other level. How many days Dhoni was out of cricket due to injuries? That too in this decade of intense cricket he kept wickets all the time and keeping is no joke and he is the king in that(I assume you don't call him an above average wicket keeper). Test cricket is not the only cricket; odi and T20 too demands a lot.. the pressure which he handles with elegance: not many players have done it. He is the captain of decade 11 announced by cricket Australia.. is it a joke?
