I absolutely agree. I'm not Irish nor Native American (at least I don't think I am, I'm a mutt) and culturally I'm an Army Brat who's family was raised on the coast in Alabama. Even so, there are so many of videos I can relate to, especially giving directions. I tell you about that road, not to go that direction, but as a landmark that shows you are on the correct route. I know.... I excel at giving way too much information nobody really cares about... (see first paragraph)

A young supervisor where I worked, was telling a story about him being in Flagstaff eating lunch at a restaurant, and an old ndn man approached the window, pointed a staff at him and looked him straight in the eyes, and then walked away. He thinks he is cursed now. He said he still has nightmares about it, he said it was the scariest thing that ever happened to him. I told him the Navajo are big jokesters and the old man probably walked away snickering or he gave you blessings. Love your channel.

I love the directions one as well, I ran out of gas in rural Texas once, asked an old man how far to a gas station, he went on to tell me directions like that and it's about 4 miles as the crow flies............................so I looked at him and asked how far if the schmuck crow has to walk and carry a gas can. Non native here. I did that firehouse dance 25 years ago. It is a spiritual experience! If you want to grow the experience,you need to move up to larger hose sizes. I made it to 3.5 inch hose! I must admit when I first started watching I didn’t know what a “Rez” was - I feel much more educated now. I have to admit my favorite show was the one where you highlighted the bison attacking the stupid picture taking woman and she lost her pants! In the mornings when I feel things are too much and I am grouchy (bad for client relations), I watch about 30-45 of your videos, and wah-lah, I am fixed gooder better, better gooder! instant mood changer. I've been off rez for some years -- due to the line of work I am in,, but my family is all still there, and I go home for about 1 and 1/2 months every year. Just like those trips keep me grounded and serve as a reminder that I am not in this world alone (in LA, it sometimes feels that way), you guys do the same. My boyfriend can always tell when I've watched your videos because my rez accent comes back. He's a white guy, so he doesn't know where it comes from and just looks at me all cocked-eyed, and that's when I know I must have "sheeeee" or "eeeeeee" or "skoken'd" him. I'm Tejano (a person of Mexican American heritage whose family roots go back to when Texas was TEJAS of NUEVO ESPANA) and for me on Saturday morning it was OLD SCHOOL tejano music like David Lee Garza or EMILIO NAVAIRA or SELENA and fabuloso. Non native here. I did that firehouse dance 25 years ago. It is a spiritual experience! If you want to grow the experience,you need to move up to larger hose sizes. I made it to 3.5 inch hose! Very uplifting!!

I must admit when I first started watching I didn’t know what a “Rez” was - I feel much more educated now. I have to admit my favorite show was the one where you highlighted the bison attacking the stupid picture taking woman and she lost her pants! My second favorite where you riff about the survey where native Americans are listed under “something else”

Glad y'all are back. I run my own business. In the mornings when I feel things are too much and I am grouchy (bad for client relations), I watch about 30-45 of your videos, and wah-lah, I am fixed gooder better, better gooder! instant mood changer. I've been off rez for some years -- due to the line of work I am in,, but my family is all still there, and I go home for about 1 and 1/2 months every year. Just like those trips keep me grounded and serve as a reminder that I am not in this world alone (in LA, it sometimes feels that way), you guys do the same. My boyfriend can always tell when I've watched your videos because my rez accent comes back. He's a white guy, so he doesn't know where it comes from and just looks at me all cocked-eyed, and that's when I know I must have "sheeeee" or "eeeeeee" or "skoken'd" him. LONG STORY SHORT: I'm glad you are back!! YAY!
I'm Tejano (a person of Mexican American heritage whose family roots go back to when Texas was TEJAS of NUEVO ESPANA) and for me on Saturday morning it was OLD SCHOOL tejano music like David Lee Garza or EMILIO NAVAIRA or SELENA and fabuloso. Or my dad opening my door at 8am shaking my bed saying, "get up.....time to mow the yard" which took 4 hours and the I had to clean my room and the family restroom before I could go hang with my cousins
