Have never known another person so respectable, knowledgeable, passionate for the art of laker fishing. I am moving to the UP next year...and a full day charter with you is on my bucket list. Macks have always been my fav since i started trolling for them when i was 10 years old. Thx Grant
Thanks for the video, I don't usually fish deeper than 100, but you have opened my eyes. Something to try next year as our season is coming to an end. Do the big trout in deep water chase up? or is the bite usually a hit on the drop?
At times, I put the kicker motor in gear just to save battery as I didnt know how long we would be out there or how long the wind would blow, but yes, it did and would have held us in those waves/wind.
Great video. I just returned from Great Bear Lake and my brother and I used Bondy Baits there. We did a lot of trolling but also vertical jogging with big Bondy’s as you do in this video. Do you modify or change out hooks on your Bondys? I feel the hookup ratio was only 1/2 decent and missed several ice Lakers or had them come unbuttoned during the battle.
So you said the fish push up shallow a few videos ago in trolling like 10-20 ft but now they are deep how do you know when they transition? Water temp? Haven’t seen many people trolling right off the shore Lake Superior lately
@@SuperiorAngling Cool I was catching King's late September and early October trolling northern madalin island just south of Stockton June and July back and forth between sand island and devil's island lot's of rainbow trout too. I come up From Pike's Bay Marina bayfeild
@@SuperiorAngling I run a 340 Sea Ray Sundancer with four big Jon downriggers and two Rivera triple planer board's running 30 poles and ten people trolling it's a blast but I'll wait till it warms up a bit lol 😊
@@fromshit7547 well, If im fishing the apostles and its cold out and I see your huge yacht out there, I know who to tie up to for a warm cup of coffee! LOL

that one, looked like a Ciscoett, nice work.
I don't know why you don't have more subs. Very informative stuff!
TH-cam is simply a game of clickbait and publishing frequent, unprofessional video with terrible audio that we don't want to participate in. LOL.
@@SuperiorAngling Sad but true. Cool video, I enjoyed the info on the depths they live!
Love the fins on those fish
Great show! Awsome fish! Love to be out there with you guys reeling in those biggins!
