I demo the board in nz a month ago. I'm 177cm (5f10?) And weight 80 kg (180?) (Danm Americans is you and co go not using metric...). Anyways, usually ride board 155 to 159, rode this in a 151 and it didn't feel small. Was way too fun to carve around, small carves on banks or full speed euro, would try to jump or play much with it, although my knees wouldn't let me anyways.
Im loving this board so far. Im 145lbs and got the 151 for better stability and float. No regrets. I can turn it on a dime, hold a carve, and ride through the deep chop most people stay clear of. I even took it on some small park jumps and the tail holds up fine
Have the 2022/23 version and since I have it the rest of the quiver is collecting dust. Great board to do everything aside from serious park play (which is not my thing) love it and can't recommend it enough. Have a 151. I am 180cm 88kg.
Rode a ride timeless back in the day just getting back into snowboarding. I really do feel loyal to the ride brand. So as freerider that loves resort powder trees with weak knees deciding between the mtnpig peaceseeker superpig deep fake and commissioner seems impossible lol

The Freecarver 6000 is hands down the best board I have ever owned. I also bought the Peace Seeker towards the end of last season in New Zealand, and it definitely turns on a dime and is a lot of fun, but I found the nose a bit too sloppy to be ridden as hard as the Jones.
Great Review! TC adds a really good fresh perspective to the channel. I'm thinking of adding this to the quiver in 155 for a tree/groomer/banked slalom board. I'm about 210lb with a 11.5 boot and already have a mtn pig, Bsod, deepfake and a sushi. What do you think this or something else? Thanks.
Looks like we’ve got similar taste in boards. I just picked one of these up as a tree board. Curious how you like the MTN PIG in pow and trees because I was interested in that one as well?
That's a great quiver. I have last year's Peace seeker, a Berzerker and a Sushi 145. I wear an 11.5 or 12 boot also and the peace seeker is somewhat of a snug fit but it works on the 155. I personally wouldn't try going down any smaller.

Thoughts on sizing the Peace Seeker? 151 vs 147? 6'1" height, 135lbs weight, size 10 US (male) shoes. I currently ride a 157 Rossi Jibsaw HD (253mm waist width, 7.4m sidecut, 21.7" stance width). Binding angles are posi posi (+27, +12). Preferred turning style is quick edge to edge, short-radius locked-in carves that generate high angular momentum. Or is there a better board for this style? Thanks!
How does this compare with the old 2020 optimistic with the stiffer core? Both are amazing volume shifted carving boards, but would you say the old optimistic is more versatile for more than just carving?

Hey there, I’m coming from a Salomon Dancehaul 152. I am 5’11”, 175lbs and I like to ride groomers, off-piste tree lines and steeper freeride. My Dancehaul is great but a tad soft and can gets very chattery at high speeds through chop and was wondering if the Ride Peace Seeker 151 would be better suited for the type of riding I do? Would you say the Peace Seeker 147 to be similar flex rating as the Dancehaul 152? I would prefer a more stable board at higher speeds. Thank you 🙏

Hi there, I ride mostly groomers advanced carving in Italy and austria. Right now i ride capita bosd 2023. I am 115 kg and bosd seems too soft and looses control at stronger turns. What board would you recommend for whole day carving. Thanks
Hope this year is more durable. I destroyed mine last year at Copper in a 3 day trip. The Top sheet just came apart. They replaced it with a brand new one but I put it up and went back to my Capital for the rest of the season. Good news is I have a brand new one of last years model ready to rip again this year. Paired mine with Burton Cartel X.
I ordered mine 155cm and I’m second guessing…. I’m 6’ 175lbs size 10.5 boot. Once I use it I can’t exchange for 151, you think I’m good? Planning on riding in 2 days is that a mistake

Never been a fan of the tight sidecuts on the ride and lib volume shifted boards, they feel like the want to hook a carve at high speed, maybe I’m doing it wrong.

The orca felt ok and the tranny finder I’ve been riding since I sold the super pig feels perfect, not sure if those are as “volume shifted” as the other though. I’d like to try a party platter as it’s got a longer side cut. Normally I ride 157-160 boards
I have a Berzerker from a few seasons back and got last year's Peace seeker and it does ride somewhat similar to the Berzerker but is way more powder/tree friendly IMO

Yeah you want the 147. I’m a 5’5” /128 lb lady and I sized to 142. This board is soooo rad. Felt like a surfboard in the powder the other day, then it carves up the grooomers like mad. Such an awesome board.

I'd go with the 51 to give you more edge hold.

Peace Seeker is that more aggressive carver. Dancehaul full on party board. Opposite ends of the spectrum.
