I’m not going to try to conform to some societal ideal on this one, sun-tanning is too risky for the skin cancer family history I have and I can’t be bothered with orangey, streaky, pain-in-the-rear chemicals. My Dad recently had another cancer removed, after many others, and they took off half the flesh of his arm! Pale skin is natural and attractive, too. It was always considered pretty until the mid-20th C., and we’ll get over the outdated tanning trend, too. If we could leave corsets and girdles behind, we can leave tanning to the past, too. I would never think to pair that sparkle bag with the skirt outfit but I love it!!! It looks so pretty and totally transformed to a casual day purse style that way.
I love the last outfit the best - lavender skirt white T white sneakers! I bought & returned that white cropped T but I might have to buy it again now lol if I can get the skirt! Looks so summery, so comfy, so effortless, so cute in a tres chic Parisian way! Also that is the best looking black jumpsuit. Great find. Great video!!

Lovin the black jumpsuit and the pinstripe blazer and shorts! Both pieces are so versatile. I made a beautiful lavender pleated skirt ( short) with an open vest years ago. It was one of my most favorite outfits.

The problem with budget shoes is that they’re plastic, which doesn’t breathe, stretch or soften and can have downright sharp edges. I have had faux leather shoes that just sliced open parts of my feet, taking months to heal and leaving scars. I now only buy genuine leather shoes, which can be broken in with wear, or my trick, treating them with Neatsfoot oil. A very old cobbler taught me this 50 years ago, bless him - it effects instant break in on my shoes.
I understand what you are saying. I usually like real leather better but the faux leather at Target is actually softer than the real leather on the pair I have that's the same exact style. With the straps behind so skinny they are not any warmer than my leather ones.
Jump suit. Seems to me the legs should be either a bit longer or shorter. If I were wearing it that's what I would need to do but then I'm only 5' 1". Proportions are a huge issue for me.

Hi Jamie, I love that jumpsuit, all of the petite sides are out of stock but the regular are available. Do you recommend sizing down. I am kind of busty so wasn’t sure how it would fit if I got a smaller size.

Can you describe the fabric of the green floral tank from Target - the one you have the marching shorts to. Is it satin?
It is rayon. It feels more silky though and not matte like rayon usually does. I'm not a big fan of rayon usually but I like this set a lot.

Questions - is the waist elastic on the lav skirt? Curious why you went up to a S? Did you try on XS and S both before deciding?
It is elastic and I went up to a small because the waist on the xs was too tight and made my stomach bulge. 🤪

I sized down and still had room everywhere. I think a size down would be fine even if you are busty. 👍
