@dailybreadasmr Well done Gaby! The cuts and fewer triggers are fine. A message of truth deserves to be told well, and you did great. Truth is one of the most important things we have in life. It is so important that Jesus Himself identifies with it, when He says “I am the way, the truth, and the life” He doesn’t say “I am a truth” or “I am my truth”, but he says “I am THE truth.” Anyway, you did a great job of presenting the truth of the Word, and clearly demonstrating how it is incompatible with a mythical concept like “reiki”.
I almost only watch you now! I realised how vulnerable we are when we sleep …‘while men slept the enemy came and showed tares..’ so we have to be able to discern the spirit behind the person speaking over us at that time. Love your Bible readings!
I feel this way about tarot! A lot of people use tarot in the ASMR community and as a Christian I can't get with it! THAT said, if you're not a Christian, you do you. Tbf tarot doesn't necessarily have to be used in a weird spiritual esoteric way as it is originally really just a game, but that is unfortunately not how it is usually used.
@@Brams2777 The same argument can be made for reiki, and pretty much anything with a spiritual history. "It's just going through the same motions, nothing religious." And I'd argue the same thing with pagan holiday traditions, no matter how appropriated with Christ shoved into it.
@@mimibelta259 my understanding of the bible is that "divination" (the practice of seeking knowledge of the future or the unknown by supernatural means) is a sin in the old testament. In my personal opinion, my conviction is that if Jesus is not at the centre of what I am seeking then it's not for me. The question is as Christians, why would we turn to tarot when we could be turning to the Bible to reveal our truths and calling. Hope that helps! xx

This is actually something I’ve been thinking about a lot lately. I’m new to Christianity, reiki-style asmr used to be my favourite but the more I think about it, the more wrong it feels.
Yeah dawg, if it makes you feel uncomfortable don’t watch it. 99% of the people doing ‘Reiki’ asmr are just doing hand motions, thinking they’re manipulating ‘energy.’ I highly doubt the majority of those creators do it with some sort of satanic agenda in mind. Regardless of how one looks at it, it doesn’t affect ME - I think it’s a stupid practice but some of the videos I find relaxing like Massage ASMR for example. I could be wrong.. similarly, I don’t care if people think stone’s have powers, like Gentle whispering for example. Again, it doesn’t affect ME, so I don’t mind to watch it. Jesus is king.

For people who aren't comfy with reiki: -there is asmr that has "plucking" and other types of hand movement without the reiki aspect -mitation or affirmation asmr that doesnt have any spritual undertones -spa/massage asmr have a similiar vibe

As someone who used to listen to reiki a lot… don’t do it. I would have sleep paralysis and nightmares more often when I listened to reiki ASMR and I figured that out because I wasn’t Christian yet and I didn’t like Christian stuff but I was curious if I would sleep better if I listed to Christian ASMR instead. When I didn’t have anything happen after the Christian ASMR… I realized that Jesus is the only one that would truly give me peace.
I also had sleep paralysis. It's a very frightening experience. I was afraid to ask a doctor cuz I thought he would think that was crazy I was relieved to find out they knew what it was. But I still think the demonic part is real and it also is talked about during alien abductions. I don't fully understand the connection but I've never been abducted thank goodness. But I have experienced severe paranormal for 2 years straight almost every day it was horrible. It would stop. That was over 15 years ago and I'm thankful it's gone. The things I saw people would never believe it was true I don't take drugs and alcohol so it's not anything like that. I had a witness to one of the events.

At this time I wasn’t living for Jesus, I 100% believed and knew Him, but my walk was stagnant. Anyhow…I did a short trial reiki session and do you know what is wild? I prayed before and during the session for protection. Why would I do that? I hadn’t done any research and had no idea about reiki. I mean it just hit me when I layed down on her table. The Holy Spirit within me knew, and He protected me despite my ignorance. It’s like my body and mind tried to rationalize why it was okay, but The Holy Spirit said nope! Now I wouldn’t touch it with a 10 foot pole, but so many don’t understand why they should leave it alone. The enemy is sneaky and deceptive. Don’t let him lull you to sleep folks - he will deceive, distract and destroy any way he can. Thank you Jesus! He is Risen! ❤️🙏🏻

The Bible is not a book of “stories”. It is the history of man and God’s dealings with us. The Bible is inerrant truth from beginning to end. You say you don’t have a religion. Religion is man’s way of seeking for a “god”, but true Christianity is God seeking man. The fact that you are here watching these videos and having these conversations is evidence that God is reaching out to you. Don’t wait. Answer His call to you. @@leaguixxx9736 any discerning Christian will agree that Buddhism has some good life advice but Christianity is very clear that it is a very narrow path. If there is a priest who claims he’s Christian and actively practices Buddhism, I would argue he’s one of two things: biblically illiterate and doesn’t know what he actually believes or cherry picks what he likes. He could absolutely have a heart for Christ and is being sanctified and will eventually realize Buddhism doesn’t align with Christianity but oftentimes, humans enjoy what feels good. Christianity is not for the weak nor faint minded and let’s be honest, it’s divisive because people don’t like to be convicted of sin. When one truly understands the Gospel and what being a Christian truly entails, alignment with anything other than what God desires is uncomfortable because of the seal of the Holy Spirit. Hopefully that made sense 😄

In this day and age a lot of wrong ideas have been normalized and incorporated into our daily lives. When I first discovered ASMR the first video I watched was crystal tapping and I felt it started to get weird when "energy" came to the mix. I immediately looked for alternative videos. I did not even get to know what Reiki was and I am glad about that. As a Christian I think it is important to point out these non-Christian practices, too many people are being led astray . Love your videos, keep doing what you are doing❤
I'm grateful for this video, i really didn't know what reiki was until you explained and well it happened to be that i watched sometimes. Sometimes i and probably most of us think that our own thoughts are the Lord's, so I'm grateful that you were used by the Lord to bring light to this and humbled me personally with many of the things you showed us.

I love your channel! You are right on target about this! Thank you for saying it. I am a Christian, 43, and have a strong faith and relationship with my Jesus. Several years ago, I went back to school and chose massage therapy. I knew the possibilities of kind of whoo-whoo practices, maybe Hindu or Buddhist, that could be associated with it, so I was cautious and went in with my eyes open. I chose it initially because I had been helped greatly with pain, stress, and high anxiety by normal massages. I also chose a state community college program instead of a massage school because I was told it was more fair and neutral. Aka- Christians were not discriminated against for not buying into other religious views etc. I was very unpleasantly surprised to find that energy healing, Reiki, "Healing Touch", etc are a mandatory part id the curriculum, and they explained in detail what it was and the philosophy behind. It's all about energy. The belief is that WE can get rid of bad energy from peoples bodies. And give good energy. We were taught that all things have energy bc molecules are always moving...OK? But seriously, you are taught "You" are the master of this power, and you move the bad energy through you and out... but you are supposed to give it to your higher power? And you can pick what and whoever your higher power is. Right away, I felt the Holy Spirit say nope! And I said Im not taking any kind of energy or spirit into me! Lol are you kidding me? If its not from God, it's an evil spirit. And I chose to sit out of that practice. That day I felt such a demonic spiritual warfare in the room. All my fellow students were doing it. Ignorant to what they are messing with. I did not do it on the final exam, which BTW we were graded on. Conviction told me to sit out. Needless to say I was prodded over and over by my teachers to do it, and that it wasn't bad. The moral of my story- just stay away. Its not innocent. Nothing to play with. It made me sad that true, medical style, helpful massage it being taken over by this scam. Its not a massage, if you dont TOUCH the person lol! So I still get real massages, just look at the massage therapists bio, and if they do energy work, I dont go to them. Just a warning, they are taught that it is healing to a person and that you can do it on someone when they dont even know, bc their eyes are closed. Blessings, love you all.❤
I think with most things we do day to day its about the INTENTION of a thing. If you watch reiki because you believe it really manipulates your energy and you're using it as some sort of spiritual healing then I totally get needing to stop if you feel it interferes with your faith/belief. However, if you enjoy hand motions and feel relaxed while watching and dont give it a thought further then thats all it is really. Hand motions with sounds/soft speaking. I think the WHY is really important to consider when deciding when to quit or continue something in reguards to strengthening your faith. That aside whats always most important is what helps you feel the closest to God and I would never judge someone for trying to limit/increase practices that help someone maintain that relationship.
I agree with you. It's about the intention and what you seek from it. I randomly tried a sound bath at a yoga studio, and the lady happened to be doing reiki. I don't believe in energy transfers necessarily from person to person, but when she put her hand on my upper chest/neck area, I immediately broke down in emotion. Because I was having a rough day, and that's the spot where I feel the most anxiety and therefore a gentle touch can cause the most comfort. It's like my mom touching my upper back as a kid. We are all humans needing touch/connection at the end of the day, and as much as I trust God to care for me in the spiritual world, it's nice to find people who comfort you. As long as we remember real healing comes from Him.

Friends, it’s important to remember that just because you have watched Reiki in the past, etc - doesn’t mean you’re not a Christian or Christ doesn’t love you. It also doesn’t mean it is more powerful than Jesus. God has given us free will however, and choosing to step out from His guidance opens us up to the enemy (even something simple like unprofessional ASMR Reiki). We must walk in the full armour of God and take on those practices and not walk in practices that glorify the enemy ❤️ Remember, Satan comes in sheep’s clothing. Even if something seems good, doesn’t mean that it is.
Give my story a read, it's kinda interesting, hehe. My name was basically a "female" version of Reiki. My dad was crazy about Reiki at the time my mom was pregnant, if i was a boy they would named me Reiki. But we are pretty much conservative Chinese-Indonesian Catholics, tho. My dad become more religious as i grow up and that is like a cause-effect situation of his severe anxiety due to decades of surpressed trauma (so either the illness got him closer to God, or just getting closer to God healed him). But then I started getting depressed around 3 years ago and i drift away from religion until I am borderline agnostic around early 2023. The peak was late 2023, i confessed to my mom and ask for help, my dad rushed me to a psychiatrist because learning his own illness for years, he knows i can't be fixed at my worst state by therapy/a psychologist. Knowing the fact of my name - of course i search relief in Reiki ASMR for quite a long time and it indeed have helped me a lot because of their words and affirmation, to be true - and even to this day, my dad still approach or learn many "sides" of healing and energy work then share it with me, but he keep it religion-based enough. After i start taking drugs.. things changed.. like, coincidentally, my Muslim bestfriend was getting back on track and become very religious again.. and suddenly i'm doing Novena to Mother Mary. I go to church because i want to, not to please my mom. I consciously search for Christian/Catholic ASMR, and listen to that with positive affirmations (mostly by Mashakata) and suddenly i stop listening to Reiki ASMR. Later, i wake up every morning very early to pray and work out. Basically.. i became very religious when i hit my lowest point - but as i am writing this, i realized God saved me in so many ways. Reminders and encouragement from my Muslim friend. My whole big family supporting me, my professors letting me sleep in class knowing my condition. Me realizing Christian ASMR channels exist, like Gaby's, and i have been obsessed for the whole month. All in all, i still practice manifestation and the laws of the universe as i did since the past 3 years. But it only all finally clicks and i can finally accept my condition when i let God stepped in. That's when my self concept finally became whole. I am His mirror. Ask and you shall receive, right? I believe i can do everything now, and have whatever i want, creating images in my head - but with God as my core. Maybe, the Reiki that my dad once practiced is not introduced the way it did in the US. Maybe, it was more "original" and with his certification, Reiki did help him at some point. But what i'm trying to say is - Child of God will always return. Jesus is THAT shepherd. He will always find you and then, you are finally healed. Then, when life is worthy and truly, by heart and soul, enjoyable again.
Yeah true, but thats one of the reasons why I liked it. I always knew that many of the things they would talk about were Inherently against Christianity, But it never stopped me from still listening to what they had to say because I just liked the peaceful vibes from their vids.

I used to watch reiki asmr until I was spiritually attacked by demons one night. It was truly frightening and it immediately stopped when I cried out to Jesus for help! I did my research and found that reiki is a new age practice that is an open door to the spiritual realm. Those spirit guides are actually deceiving spirits! Always test the spirits and put on the full armor of God! Ephesians 6!
Would be interesting also to watch something in the same style about what Bible says about horoscopes, numerology etc. These are also things that are far from Christianity, however, some Christians can mix faith and believing in modern astrologiests' predictions.

Isn't it strange how some people claim to follow Christ while also practicing new-age techniques borrowed from Hinduism? These practices involve using energy from the demonic realm for healing, despite God already granting the gift of healing to His followers, as mentioned in 1st Corinthians chapter 12. Reiki practitioners invite spirit beings and guides to perform these healings. As Christians, it's important to remember that we have access to the same power that Jesus had, known as the Holy Spirit, the second person of the Trinity. Reiki is not mentioned in the Bible, and it's crucial to note that it's rooted in Hinduism and considered a demonic practice. It contradicts the Christian faith to use opposing spiritual forces for healing, especially when we are called to love and care for others as creations in the image of God. My hope is that you will seek God's guidance and turn to Christ as your Savior and Lord.

But as much as I like the visuals, the heart of the video didn't sit well in my spirit so I had to drop it. THAT SAID, I am definitely just asking if you would consider making a christian asmr with those sorts of rhythmic movements, sort of like the plucking video you did! (Loved that btw)
When I was thirteen years old, I had a lot of freedom in what I saw, at that time they were the typical influencers, but shortly after I discovered ASMR, from there I began to explore more in the world until I found ASMR Tarot readings, then Reiki , and yes, I looked at it for a long time until months ago when I stopped all that when I started to get more attached to Christianity, but personally compared to a comment I read below I never felt that it really had any effect on me, even now that I read it I think it's as if from that moment there was a shield that made me immune haha, when I saw all that I always felt that it was useless in me, but I like to believe that from the beginning God protected me to avoid bad things in my smallest and naive version .. (Reminder, sorry if my English is a little bad, my native language is Spanish, so the translator is my big help for now haha)

I had never known what reiki was before your video, I had seen other Christian asmr channels and one I tried to watch did a lot of this type of “healing” vibes. I could never watch the full videos. I’m glad you’re standing ground in your faith while also educating newer Christian or even older Christian’s in their walk as our world continues to pervert the things of God.
That's kinda a "worldy"expression.. it's more an avoidance die to beliefs. Having "beef" would signal and argument, then and an apology. But neither side sees anything wrong with their belief system, hence, no beef. Also, most actual believers feel bad and pray for those that are lost and confused, so ergo, it isn't anger, more empathy, or sympathy for the direction they are headed. Sorry so long, a coma has caused my brain to slow.. and putting thoughts together... Lol. 😊
But as a person of faith, no matter what beliefs, they come before secular.. meaning, if secular things don't gel with our beliefs, then we avoid them at our core. Picture a juicy piece of steak that has a brown tainted part, the rest is red and delicious.. but you are smart enough to eat it because even though 100% isn't rotten, only part is. Well, that's the same with our beliefs. If Reiki doesn't coincide with our beliefs, if it's something that's going to taint what we consider a relationship with our Creator, why would we engage in such things.. even if they seem "harmless"?. To us, that little section of paganism, tho harmless, seems relaxing enough, it's not in our core beliefs. I hope this helps, if somebody has anything to help, or maybe another way to address this, I would love to hear more❤ For others, Reiki can be a helpful, it's only a danger if you are convicted that it's wrong and still watch or practice. It's what Paul speaks about as free will. I found this to help. Should you share in this meat which has been offered to an idol? Now, this question is brought up elsewhere in 1 Corinthians. In chapter 8, Paul started with these words: “Now concerning food offered to idols….” But what the parishioners in Corinth wanted to know is, “Can we eat the meat or not?” The Apostle, however, did not give them a clear answer. Instead, Paul started talking about some deeper questions, about freedom and conscience, about sensitivity to another person’s beliefs and understanding, about the dangers of a little knowledge, and the love that builds people up. This is the nature of an apostle so intoxicated with the spirit of God that he cannot walk a straight line but explores every byway on his route before getting to the point. By now, he has been wandering for three chapters. In other words, Paul explores and probes the implications of the Gospel where the Law used to strictly and narrowly apply. Chapter 10, then, is the conclusion of his great meandering answer. Here we finally get his response to, “Is it permissible to eat the meat offered to idols or not? Yes or no?” A lot hinges on this question. We may never even get the opportunity to eat meat offered to idols. But it is the principle that is important. Other questions cause disagreements or uncertainty among Christians today. For example, is it okay to drink a glass of wine? Or two glasses, or four? You may wonder if it is okay to buy a lottery ticket or bet on a horse race. Is it alright to take a day off work when I have got a bit of a sniffle, and the duvet is inviting? Does it matter if my child attends the school assembly when they are celebrating Transgender? Can I go to the supermarket and do my shopping on Good Friday? Do I set a placard of my political affiliation on the front lawn? A lot of things hinge on this test case: Is it permissible to eat the meat offered to idols or not? And the answer is…. the answer is the Corinthians are asking the wrong question. They (and we) are asking “Is it lawful?” That is the wrong question because the answer resounds clearly in Scripture: Everything is lawful because you are free of the Law. That is exactly what Paul writes: “All things are lawful for me” (1 Corinthians 6:12). He writes it twice in the same verse. Because the Corinthians had difficulty getting their heads around it, he says it again in chapter 10: “All things are lawful.” In fact, he again says it twice in the same verse - four times in total. Consequently, the Corinthians (and we today) have a great gift, the gift of freedom. “For freedom, Christ has set us free,” Saint Paul says in Galatians 5:1. It is a great gift because it means Christians are free from the curse of the Law and the punishment of disobedience, that is, the coercion of both which motivates one out of fear. So, fear is driven out and its place is overtaken by love. As 1 John 4:18-19 says: “There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear, for fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. We love because He first loved us.” What Paul attempts here is to alert the Corinthians that there abides in them now a different motivation, a different spirit, a renewed heart capable of divine love by way of the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit. Dictatorial obedience to the Law (yes or no scenarios) does little toward the cultivation of wisdom. However, exercising the freedom to love in every way entails the cultivation of wisdom. So, you see, the only thing that should motivate you is the Spirit. We all hear that Still Small Voice (the Spirit). He should be the guide. It seems wrong, don't do it, but that doesn't mean it's wrong for everyone. God leads those how He chooses, just as He did the Levites who had more strict rules than the majority of the Israelites of the day.
There's an amazing e-book, which is available for FREE to download, called the 18 Lies About the New Age Movement. In there there's a list at the end, and one of the practices to avoid is reiki, like tarot cards and chakra stuff. I advise everyone to research and read that book, it is a short one you can read in about 1 hour.

4 months ago I had an episode of psychosis where I believed I was Jesus himself reincarnated. I thought I had the power of telekinesis. I’m now taking antipsychotics.
I used to watch all the time But the Spirit convicted me as I grew in Christ, that Reiki is a form of pagan practices. Not that it doesn't work, but I have seen that most Reiki practices they center in "universal Christness" and "oneness" and foundational practices that don't center on the healing that CHRIST does, but in the healing the "spirits" do and some represent themselves as the healers. At least from what I've learned from those I've met when I lived in Salem Ma "Witch City". I knew several "Masters"

I find these types of videos helpful especially for someone like me who is trying to reconnect with Christ. I have lots of questions about things that my culture does.( not reki but other things) It’s extremely difficult for me to understand that something is wrong when I learned it was good my whole life. If you are truly a born again Christian you would stay away from Reiki or anything that promotes demonic forces. We have the same power in us that rose Jesus from the grave.

I was a Christian for 48 years, now I don't believe in anything, and I never felt more free in my life. Watching Reiki ASMR has no effect on me at all, it's just as relaxing as any other ASMR video.
As soon as one of the ASMR Reiki artists called on a spirit guide I noped right out of there. What spirit is guiding them? Certainly not the Holy Spirit, and I don't care to receive anything from any spirit other than the Holy Spirit.
I used to watch reiki videos and when I tell you don't watch it don't. I would never recommend it at all. I was fighting things I did not know until i stopped.
I like to think everything is up to interpretation, but redirected to a Christian outlook; used differently. Like how our holidays overlap pagan ones. Easter has a lot of pagan symbolism, yet many Christians use it unknowingly; whereas I feel like a Christian could still use symbols originally pagan (for new life/rebirth) if they redirect the thinking into a reminder of Jesus and his resurrection. We have our own symbols to use though- just don't worship them. A forever-in-progress Christian here just putting it out in the open for others to let me know their thoughts. ❤
This is actually why I recommend looking more into Passover. That's rooted in in the Torah and God ordained. Jesus died on Passover and its why he's referred to both in Revelation and by John the Baptist as the Lamb. A lamb was sacrificed to make atonement for sin. Jesus became that sacrifice. And he commanded his disciples during "communion" (actually a Seder dinner) to do this (Seder/Passover) in remembrance of me. Highly recommend looking to that instead of Easter.
I think that's how you deal with Halloween and stuff, its mostly the thought behind why you're doing it. I celebrate Halloween because I like candy and dressing up, not to worship the devil. But some stuff we definitely have to stay away from
I agree. I don’t believe in Reiki at all, but I like the hand movements in some of them. And if I ever feel it’s getting a bit uncomfortable religiously then I redirect back to God/Jesus.
I totally understand that God is always the main source of positive energy. What is also true is that He creates the universe our world, so everything have his energy and we should feel free to get connected with earth energy because it is nature, make sense that it make us feel relaxed because it came from God. While He created the Earth, there is no such thing as "Earth energy" separate and apart from Christ. I also don't consider Christ to be an energy; it is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit

Or the time that I fell asleep listening to ASMR and I had a vision of a demon come from the tv and tell me he had a deal with the woman I fell asleep to, and he said if I didn’t want part I should leave. Sometimes our warnings are blatant. I stopped listening to her ever since, which made me sad because it was so soothing, but at what cost?
This is really interesting to watch as a pagan christian. My mother would do reiki on my grandfather when he was sick. She's not at all taught and didn't know what she was doing (it was an accident) but it was quite a miracle and from my understanding its nothing complicated or mysterious. Wanting to share your energy with a loved one to give them relief or a boost while struggling with illness is nothing scary or evil, thats just pure intended love 🩷 love is the best medicine after all. Now idk abt reiki asmr.. not rly sure how reiki is supposed to happen thru a screen, but at the end of the day ig it could be fun to watch 😭

Idgaf you can gather every Reiko master on earth and put them in one room and they are not healing a blind person. I can't even heal like that. That's the realm of divinity-period. I'm also against in Christian churches when they do fake healing shenanigans. It is so important that Jesus Himself identifies with it, when He says “I am the way, the truth, and the life” He doesn’t say “I am a truth” or “I am my truth”, but he says “I am THE truth.” Anyway, you did a great job of presenting the truth of the Word, and clearly demonstrating how it is incompatible with a mythical concept like “reiki”.

@@mimibelta259 my understanding of the bible is that "divination" (the practice of seeking knowledge of the future or the unknown by supernatural means) is a sin in the old testament. In my personal opinion, my conviction is that if Jesus is not at the centre of what I am seeking then it's not for me. The question is as Christians, why would we turn to tarot when we could be turning to the Bible to reveal our truths and calling. Hope that helps! xx

Regardless of how one looks at it, it doesn’t affect ME - I think it’s a stupid practice but some of the videos I find relaxing like Massage ASMR for example. -there is asmr that has "plucking" and other types of hand movement without the reiki aspect
-mitation or affirmation asmr that doesnt have any spritual undertones
-spa/massage asmr have a similiar vibe

As someone who used to listen to reiki a lot… don’t do it. I would have sleep paralysis and nightmares more often when I listened to reiki ASMR and I figured that out because I wasn’t Christian yet and I didn’t like Christian stuff but I was curious if I would sleep better if I listed to Christian ASMR instead. When I didn’t have anything happen after the Christian ASMR… I realized that Jesus is the only one that would truly give me peace.
I also had sleep paralysis. It's a very frightening experience. I was afraid to ask a doctor cuz I thought he would think that was crazy I was relieved to find out they knew what it was. But I still think the demonic part is real and it also is talked about during alien abductions. I don't fully understand the connection but I've never been abducted thank goodness. But I have experienced severe paranormal for 2 years straight almost every day it was horrible. It would stop. That was over 15 years ago and I'm thankful it's gone. The things I saw people would never believe it was true I don't take drugs and alcohol so it's not anything like that. I had a witness to one of the events.

It’s also worth to consider that sleep paralysis can be influenced by various factors including stress, sleep deprivation, and irregular sleep schedule. Have any of these factors changed around the same time you switched the type of ASMR videos you watch? That said, we all must keep doing what is best for our mental care and phisical health. A long time ago ~ 18 yrs now…I did a reiki session at my gym, they were really promoting it. At this time I wasn’t living for Jesus, I 100% believed and knew Him, but my walk was stagnant. Anyhow…I did a short trial reiki session and do you know what is wild? I prayed before and during the session for protection. Why would I do that? I hadn’t done any research and had no idea about reiki. I mean it just hit me when I layed down on her table. The Holy Spirit within me knew, and He protected me despite my ignorance. It’s like my body and mind tried to rationalize why it was okay, but The Holy Spirit said nope! Now I wouldn’t touch it with a 10 foot pole, but so many don’t understand why they should leave it alone. The enemy is sneaky and deceptive. Don’t let him lull you to sleep folks - he will deceive, distract and destroy any way he can. Thank you Jesus! He is Risen! ❤️🙏🏻

The Bible is not a book of “stories”. It is the history of man and God’s dealings with us. The Bible is inerrant truth from beginning to end. You say you don’t have a religion. Religion is man’s way of seeking for a “god”, but true Christianity is God seeking man. The fact that you are here watching these videos and having these conversations is evidence that God is reaching out to you. Don’t wait. Answer His call to you. Time is short and no one is promised their next breath.

@@leaguixxx9736 any discerning Christian will agree that Buddhism has some good life advice but Christianity is very clear that it is a very narrow path. If there is a priest who claims he’s Christian and actively practices Buddhism, I would argue he’s one of two things: biblically illiterate and doesn’t know what he actually believes or cherry picks what he likes. He could absolutely have a heart for Christ and is being sanctified and will eventually realize Buddhism doesn’t align with Christianity but oftentimes, humans enjoy what feels good. Christianity is not for the weak nor faint minded and let’s be honest, it’s divisive because people don’t like to be convicted of sin. When one truly understands the Gospel and what being a Christian truly entails, alignment with anything other than what God desires is uncomfortable because of the seal of the Holy Spirit. Hopefully that made sense 😄

In this day and age a lot of wrong ideas have been normalized and incorporated into our daily lives. When I first discovered ASMR the first video I watched was crystal tapping and I felt it started to get weird when "energy" came to the mix. I immediately looked for alternative videos. I did not even get to know what Reiki was and I am glad about that. As a Christian I think it is important to point out these non-Christian practices, too many people are being led astray .

I love your channel! You are right on target about this! Thank you for saying it. I am a Christian, 43, and have a strong faith and relationship with my Jesus. Several years ago, I went back to school and chose massage therapy. I knew the possibilities of kind of whoo-whoo practices, maybe Hindu or Buddhist, that could be associated with it, so I was cautious and went in with my eyes open. I chose it initially because I had been helped greatly with pain, stress, and high anxiety by normal massages. I also chose a state community college program instead of a massage school because I was told it was more fair and neutral. Aka- Christians were not discriminated against for not buying into other religious views etc. I was very unpleasantly surprised to find that energy healing, Reiki, "Healing Touch", etc are a mandatory part id the curriculum, and they explained in detail what it was and the philosophy behind. It's all about energy. The belief is that WE can get rid of bad energy from peoples bodies. And give good energy. We were taught that all things have energy bc molecules are always moving...OK?
But seriously, you are taught "You" are the master of this power, and you move the bad energy through you and out... but you are supposed to give it to your higher power? And you can pick what and whoever your higher power is. Right away, I felt the Holy Spirit say nope! And I said Im not taking any kind of energy or spirit into me! Lol are you kidding me? If its not from God, it's an evil spirit. And I chose to sit out of that practice. That day I felt such a demonic spiritual warfare in the room. All my fellow students were doing it. Ignorant to what they are messing with. I did not do it on the final exam, which BTW we were graded on. Conviction told me to sit out. Needless to say I was prodded over and over by my teachers to do it, and that it wasn't bad.
The moral of my story- just stay away. Its not innocent. Nothing to play with. It made me sad that true, medical style, helpful massage it being taken over by this scam. Its not a massage, if you dont TOUCH the person lol! So I still get real massages, just look at the massage therapists bio, and if they do energy work, I dont go to them. Just a warning, they are taught that it is healing to a person and that you can do it on someone when they dont even know, bc their eyes are closed. Blessings, love you all.❤
I think with most things we do day to day its about the INTENTION of a thing. If you watch reiki because you believe it really manipulates your energy and you're using it as some sort of spiritual healing then I totally get needing to stop if you feel it interferes with your faith/belief. However, if you enjoy hand motions and feel relaxed while watching and dont give it a thought further then thats all it is really. Hand motions with sounds/soft speaking. I think the WHY is really important to consider when deciding when to quit or continue something in reguards to strengthening your faith. I agree with you. It's about the intention and what you seek from it. I randomly tried a sound bath at a yoga studio, and the lady happened to be doing reiki. I don't believe in energy transfers necessarily from person to person, but when she put her hand on my upper chest/neck area, I immediately broke down in emotion. Because I was having a rough day, and that's the spot where I feel the most anxiety and therefore a gentle touch can cause the most comfort. It's like my mom touching my upper back as a kid. We are all humans needing touch/connection at the end of the day, and as much as I trust God to care for me in the spiritual world, it's nice to find people who comfort you. As long as we remember real healing comes from Him.

Friends, it’s important to remember that just because you have watched Reiki in the past, etc - doesn’t mean you’re not a Christian or Christ doesn’t love you. It also doesn’t mean it is more powerful than Jesus. God has given us free will however, and choosing to step out from His guidance opens us up to the enemy (even something simple like unprofessional ASMR Reiki). We must walk in the full armour of God and take on those practices and not walk in practices that glorify the enemy ❤️

Give my story a read, it's kinda interesting, hehe. My name was basically a "female" version of Reiki. My dad was crazy about Reiki at the time my mom was pregnant, if i was a boy they would named me Reiki. But we are pretty much conservative Chinese-Indonesian Catholics, tho. My dad become more religious as i grow up and that is like a cause-effect situation of his severe anxiety due to decades of surpressed trauma (so either the illness got him closer to God, or just getting closer to God healed him). But then I started getting depressed around 3 years ago and i drift away from religion until I am borderline agnostic around early 2023. The peak was late 2023, i confessed to my mom and ask for help, my dad rushed me to a psychiatrist because learning his own illness for years, he knows i can't be fixed at my worst state by therapy/a psychologist.
Knowing the fact of my name - of course i search relief in Reiki ASMR for quite a long time and it indeed have helped me a lot because of their words and affirmation, to be true - and even to this day, my dad still approach or learn many "sides" of healing and energy work then share it with me, but he keep it religion-based enough.
After i start taking drugs.. things changed.. like, coincidentally, my Muslim bestfriend was getting back on track and become very religious again.. and suddenly i'm doing Novena to Mother Mary. I go to church because i want to, not to please my mom. I consciously search for Christian/Catholic ASMR, and listen to that with positive affirmations (mostly by Mashakata) and suddenly i stop listening to Reiki ASMR. Later, i wake up every morning very early to pray and work out.
Basically.. i became very religious when i hit my lowest point - but as i am writing this, i realized God saved me in so many ways. Reminders and encouragement from my Muslim friend. My whole big family supporting me, my professors letting me sleep in class knowing my condition. Me realizing Christian ASMR channels exist, like Gaby's, and i have been obsessed for the whole month.
All in all, i still practice manifestation and the laws of the universe as i did since the past 3 years. But it only all finally clicks and i can finally accept my condition when i let God stepped in. That's when my self concept finally became whole. I am His mirror. Ask and you shall receive, right? I believe i can do everything now, and have whatever i want, creating images in my head - but with God as my core.
Maybe, the Reiki that my dad once practiced is not introduced the way it did in the US. Maybe, it was more "original" and with his certification, Reiki did help him at some point. But what i'm trying to say is - Child of God will always return. Jesus is THAT shepherd. He will always find you and then, you are finally healed. Then, when life is worthy and truly, by heart and soul, enjoyable again.

I used to watch reiki asmr until I was spiritually attacked by demons one night. It was truly frightening and it immediately stopped when I cried out to Jesus for help! I did my research and found that reiki is a new age practice that is an open door to the spiritual realm. Those spirit guides are actually deceiving spirits! Always test the spirits and put on the full armor of God! Ephesians 6!

I tried staying away from it whenever it popped up alongside ASMR channels, but still I was curious to its origin. With little kids at home I find my me time is slim and I listen to you as I’m getting ready for bed and cleaning home. Isn't it strange how some people claim to follow Christ while also practicing new-age techniques borrowed from Hinduism? These practices involve using energy from the demonic realm for healing, despite God already granting the gift of healing to His followers, as mentioned in 1st Corinthians chapter 12. Reiki practitioners invite spirit beings and guides to perform these healings. As Christians, it's important to remember that we have access to the same power that Jesus had, known as the Holy Spirit, the second person of the Trinity. Reiki is not mentioned in the Bible, and it's crucial to note that it's rooted in Hinduism and considered a demonic practice. It contradicts the Christian faith to use opposing spiritual forces for healing, especially when we are called to love and care for others as creations in the image of God. My hope is that you will seek God's guidance and turn to Christ as your Savior and Lord.

Yep, me too. I even have a few ASMRtists I still pray for because they concentrate solely on Reiki videos and "plucking" and such.
When I was thirteen years old, I had a lot of freedom in what I saw, at that time they were the typical influencers, but shortly after I discovered ASMR, from there I began to explore more in the world until I found ASMR Tarot readings, then Reiki , and yes, I looked at it for a long time until months ago when I stopped all that when I started to get more attached to Christianity, but personally compared to a comment I read below I never felt that it really had any effect on me, even now that I read it I think it's as if from that moment there was a shield that made me immune haha, when I saw all that I always felt that it was useless in me, but I like to believe that from the beginning God protected me to avoid bad things in my smallest and naive version .. (Reminder, sorry if my English is a little bad, my native language is Spanish, so the translator is my big help for now haha)
I love love asmr and months ago i was watching/listening to another lady do it and something just didn't feel right, i unfollowed her immediately and continued with my life. I had never known what reiki was before your video, I had seen other Christian asmr channels and one I tried to watch did a lot of this type of “healing” vibes. I could never watch the full videos. That's kinda a "worldy"expression.. it's more an avoidance die to beliefs. Having "beef" would signal and argument, then and an apology. But neither side sees anything wrong with their belief system, hence, no beef. Also, most actual believers feel bad and pray for those that are lost and confused, so ergo, it isn't anger, more empathy, or sympathy for the direction they are headed.

Not really the ASMR community rather than religious beliefs
But as a person of faith, no matter what beliefs, they come before secular.. meaning, if secular things don't gel with our beliefs, then we avoid them at our core.
Picture a juicy piece of steak that has a brown tainted part, the rest is red and delicious.. but you are smart enough to eat it because even though 100% isn't rotten, only part is. Well, that's the same with our beliefs. If Reiki doesn't coincide with our beliefs, if it's something that's going to taint what we consider a relationship with our Creator, why would we engage in such things.. even if they seem "harmless"?. To us, that little section of paganism, tho harmless, seems relaxing enough, it's not in our core beliefs. I hope this helps, if somebody has anything to help, or maybe another way to address this, I would love to hear more❤
For others, Reiki can be a helpful, it's only a danger if you are convicted that it's wrong and still watch or practice. It's what Paul speaks about as free will.

The Corinthians wrote to Paul, their apostle and pastor, to ask him about some questions they had. These were things about which there was disagreement or, at least, uncertainty in the church of Corinth. Having received the Gospel, they needed guidance about the nature of Christian freedom amidst the challenges they were encountering in familial and social settings. Not surprisingly, their questions have retained relevance. Revisiting Saint Paul’s divinely inspired response exhibits the space in which the Gospel and the Third Use of the Law overlap in case of conscience.
However, one Corinthian issue may not seem terribly relevant anymore. But this impression would be mistaken. It is the question of whether a Christian may eat meat previously offered to an idol. In discussions with Christians from distant cultures, the question is a live one.
The inquiry is basically this: Suppose the Jones family invites you to dinner. Just as they are serving up the main course you say, “That looks like a lovely steak, Mrs. Jones.” “Best sirloin,” she replies, “I couldn’t usually get it, but there’s just been a big sacrifice to the god Jupiter, so there was meat in the market - not too expensive either.” Now, you believe in religious freedom, but you are a Christian. Should you share in this meat which has been offered to an idol?
Now, this question is brought up elsewhere in 1 Corinthians. In chapter 8, Paul started with these words: “Now concerning food offered to idols….” But what the parishioners in Corinth wanted to know is, “Can we eat the meat or not?” The Apostle, however, did not give them a clear answer. Instead, Paul started talking about some deeper questions, about freedom and conscience, about sensitivity to another person’s beliefs and understanding, about the dangers of a little knowledge, and the love that builds people up. This is the nature of an apostle so intoxicated with the spirit of God that he cannot walk a straight line but explores every byway on his route before getting to the point. By now, he has been wandering for three chapters. In other words,
Paul explores and probes the implications of the Gospel where the Law used to strictly and narrowly apply.
Chapter 10, then, is the conclusion of his great meandering answer. Here we finally get his response to, “Is it permissible to eat the meat offered to idols or not? Yes or no?”
A lot hinges on this question. We may never even get the opportunity to eat meat offered to idols. But it is the principle that is important. Other questions cause disagreements or uncertainty among Christians today. For example, is it okay to drink a glass of wine? Or two glasses, or four? You may wonder if it is okay to buy a lottery ticket or bet on a horse race. Is it alright to take a day off work when I have got a bit of a sniffle, and the duvet is inviting? Does it matter if my child attends the school assembly when they are celebrating Transgender? Can I go to the supermarket and do my shopping on Good Friday? Do I set a placard of my political affiliation on the front lawn? A lot of things hinge on this test case: Is it permissible to eat the meat offered to idols or not?
And the answer is…. the answer is the Corinthians are asking the wrong question. They (and we) are asking “Is it lawful?” That is the wrong question because the answer resounds clearly in Scripture: Everything is lawful because you are free of the Law. That is exactly what Paul writes: “All things are lawful for me” (1 Corinthians 6:12). He writes it twice in the same verse. Because the Corinthians had difficulty getting their heads around it, he says it again in chapter 10: “All things are lawful.” In fact, he again says it twice in the same verse - four times in total.
Consequently, the Corinthians (and we today) have a great gift, the gift of freedom. “For freedom, Christ has set us free,” Saint Paul says in Galatians 5:1. It is a great gift because it means Christians are free from the curse of the Law and the punishment of disobedience, that is, the coercion of both which motivates one out of fear. So, fear is driven out and its place is overtaken by love. As 1 John 4:18-19 says: “There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear, for fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. We love because He first loved us.” What Paul attempts here is to alert the Corinthians that there abides in them now a different motivation, a different spirit, a renewed heart capable of divine love by way of the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit. Dictatorial obedience to the Law (yes or no scenarios) does little toward the cultivation of wisdom. However, exercising the freedom to love in every way entails the cultivation of wisdom.
So, you see, the only thing that should motivate you is the Spirit. We all hear that Still Small Voice (the Spirit). He should be the guide. It seems wrong, don't do it, but that doesn't mean it's wrong for everyone.
God leads those how He chooses, just as He did the Levites who had more strict rules than the majority of the Israelites of the day.
There is only one high force and that is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen! 🙏💟✝️👍😁

4 months ago I had an episode of psychosis where I believed I was Jesus himself reincarnated. I thought I had the power of telekinesis. I’m now taking antipsychotics.
I pray that God would use your antipsychotics to remove all psychosis from your mind and that there would be little or no side effects.

I used to watch all the time But the Spirit convicted me as I grew in Christ, that Reiki is a form of pagan practices. Not that it doesn't work, but I have seen that most Reiki practices they center in "universal Christness" and "oneness" and foundational practices that don't center on the healing that CHRIST does, but in the healing the "spirits" do and some represent themselves as the healers. At least from what I've learned from those I've met when I lived in Salem Ma "Witch City". I knew several "Masters"

I find these types of videos helpful especially for someone like me who is trying to reconnect with Christ. I have lots of questions about things that my culture does.( not reki but other things) It’s extremely difficult for me to understand that something is wrong when I learned it was good my whole life. I was a Christian for 48 years, now I don't believe in anything, and I never felt more free in my life. Watching Reiki ASMR has no effect on me at all, it's just as relaxing as any other ASMR video.

I like to think everything is up to interpretation, but redirected to a Christian outlook; used differently. Like how our holidays overlap pagan ones. Easter has a lot of pagan symbolism, yet many Christians use it unknowingly; whereas I feel like a Christian could still use symbols originally pagan (for new life/rebirth) if they redirect the thinking into a reminder of Jesus and his resurrection. We have our own symbols to use though- just don't worship them. A forever-in-progress Christian here just putting it out in the open for others to let me know their thoughts. ❤
This is actually why I recommend looking more into Passover. That's rooted in in the Torah and God ordained. Jesus died on Passover and its why he's referred to both in Revelation and by John the Baptist as the Lamb. A lamb was sacrificed to make atonement for sin. Jesus became that sacrifice. And he commanded his disciples during "communion" (actually a Seder dinner) to do this (Seder/Passover) in remembrance of me. Highly recommend looking to that instead of Easter.

This is really interesting to watch as a pagan christian. My mother would do reiki on my grandfather when he was sick. She's not at all taught and didn't know what she was doing (it was an accident) but it was quite a miracle and from my understanding its nothing complicated or mysterious. Wanting to share your energy with a loved one to give them relief or a boost while struggling with illness is nothing scary or evil, thats just pure intended love 🩷 love is the best medicine after all.

Idgaf you can gather every Reiko master on earth and put them in one room and they are not healing a blind person. I can't even heal like that. That's the realm of divinity-period. I'm also against in Christian churches when they do fake healing shenanigans.
And yeah maybe God does elect to heal certain people miraculously but I think for the most part we are just being positive and the person is screwed lowkey. Lol
Im catholic but i love to learn about other cultures and their uses and costumes. We might learn a lot from them.
