This reminds me of walking in a crowded town shopping for groceries from local stands on the side of the road. Then the ending is like coming home to cook up a big mean and sitting by the window gazing out onto the town as it begins to light up along with the sun going down.

I imagine myself going to the asle with this song playing. A long dress like the snow,without any detail,just the simple material,no make up,a little bun on the top of my head with some curls lying down near my face,a small bouquet of the roses from my garden,the ones I grew with much love and a big smile on my face because I am around the people I love the most,only my closest friends and some relatives and when the violin start to play I am seeing my groom,my souls missing piece which I will spend the rest of my life with. After the ceremony we will have our dance with this song and this is how our life together will start. Just the two of us valsing and feeling like we are the only one in this world,we dont need to pay attention to anybody because we are together,we will get power from our love.

This song reminds me too much of the times where I would hide the tablet I would use to listen to asmr in my bed. I would listen to this one TH-camr as their story progressed. At the end of the video he would always play the piano version of this theme. It made me feel warm and after a few more videos I would be able to rest and finally sleep at like 1 am. This song is like a warm blanket of....well...warmth! It’s so heart touching and it honestly has me feeling nostalgic every time I listen. I don’t have this on my favorite songs playlist simply because I want to enjoy this every once in a while without feeling guilty about skipping over it. This is truly beautiful

I think the train scene is an allegory to growing up and the loss of childhood, which is why the bittersweet melancholy of this music fits it so well. Chihiro finds herself all of a sudden with many responsibilities from family and friendship and she takes them on gladly, but you can’t help but feel it is the beginning of the end for the child inside Chihiro. She is surrounded by shadows of adults, each with their own silent story to tell as if a reminder of what is being lost in the quest to provide for and protect those you love. The scene bears resemblance to another train scene early from anther Ghibli masterpiece, Hotaru no Haka or Grave of the Fireflies
