I transcribed it by ear into a notation software: Dorico. I also usually try to play it on the instruments to see how accurate my ear is being.

Impressive. New Grass Revival was a fave of mine in the 90s. Saw them at Berkeley School of Music. I am nowhere near their level. Happy playing!
