  • John addresses the impending replacement of 50% of our jobs that use the human physical and mental dexterity, with robots. The talk explores how it is important to develop the new economy before the new technology completely wipes out the old one and so provide our young people with jobs.
John also discusses his Robot Rallying venture, a GEM (giving education meaning) project. The problem of our education system that it is designed for workers in factories to follow routines and not be creative - this is the very opposite of what is required.
The first workshop on Education for the 4th Industrial Revolution took place in June 2018 in Beijing and laid out what was required to start building the new economy. Robot Rallying is a UK GEM project aimed at developing the creativity that is at the heart of the new economy of the 4th Industrial Revolution. School of Computing, Informatics and Media. He directs the Bradford Robotic Telescope - the world's first robotic telescope, which he helped build. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

    If the expert say
'Education is changing for the good'
    Dont Go! become an entrepreneur.
College Graduates will be label the next lowerclass.
Yeah, everything will be cheaper, but the lowerclass will give up their RIGHTS. Entrepreneurs in the upperclass will able buy their RIGHTS.

Um , self crashing aircraft. With any type of automation there must be a way to override or fail safe . Automation is normally driven by cost . So a few years ago automatic car washes were a thing not any more , what changed? Cheaper labour.

So with 50% less jobs then that means 50% less people. It is absolutely clear as day what they want implemented. Same people that designed this also did a simulation of the current “global health” issue.
Everything they propose can sound rosy and “good” for Gaia (mother earth) however to get where “they” want means people gotta go. Along with that, the power gets centralized to one power or group. You ready to die for this utopia or lose a family member? As annoying as people can be or how wasteful we all are at the end of the day we all want the same thing, life. If the world is a mess then the elites that have robbed the people of their wealth via avoiding taxes and laundering money via “philanthropies” are responsible for helping to create the mess. Time to wake up people. Other humans aren’t your enemy, and these guys aren’t your friends.

We must remember who we are.

That seems a bit far fetched. The jobs will be in much more creative fields, that doesn’t imply “less people” at all. People simply won’t be required to stand on factory lines all day or what have you any longer. Not everything needs to feed into the narrative you’re getting at you know. I agree there must be some care as to where power lies, but power lies in “their” hands now anyway, giving mundane jobs to robots isn’t gonna change that, it’s a completely different matter. Giving mundane jobs to robots is a good thing in my eyes. Who wants to sit on a factory line all their life just to put a roof (or not) over their head. Humans have so much more potential than that.

Ive been a teacher in italy for the past 3 years. I've made great use of an italian edtech platform called kahoot.
Its an interactive media quiz maker that I use at the end of lesson blocks to reinforce Learning objectives. Students can log into the quiz via pass code in their smart devices. It's really been a breath of fresh air for student interaction in the curriculum.
The antiquated chalkboard method of education needs an overhaul and why not? The tech is now readily available to create exciting new interactive edtech platforms like kahoot.

It is God, the Father of Jesus Christ, who has authority over this world, who laughs at the pride of proud people. Do not be terrified, Jesus will return soon and put an end to proud mankind. Include Him in your life

    • @Tas0228

Consider for a moment that the Jesuits/ flavians wrote the New Testament to get the people “sheep” to follow a “shepherd”. What if that shepherd is the cover for the wolves? The idea of Jesus, the essence of enlightenment is correct and Elkhart Tolle speaks of this energy. However, the biggest setback for the world is the Christians following a made up story and not critically thinking about that or investigating it. I was one of them citing the New Testament “waiting” to be saved, the essence of the story is you have Christ within and it is time to save yourself. The Jesuits even train their students that the book is based on many other stories and a myth. This I know for fact because I worked with an amazing cardiologist from Yale and Georgetown and she was very honest with me about what is going on. Be well, vibrate high and you are powerful within.

@@Tas0228 hi, whoever you are, greetings to you. I humble suggest before you comment on any subject to educate yourself first regardless of what did you heard about (especially of the bestselling book named Bible) otherwise in the era of information you are spreading misinformation. Coming back to your comment there are over 5,800 complete or fragmented Greek manuscripts, 10,000 Latin manuscripts and 9,300 manuscripts in various other ancient languages, such as Syriac, Slavic, Gothic, Ethiopic, Coptic and Armenian. Meaning Bible is best proved, best preserved book from ancient history. Saying Jesuits ( were created in 1534...) or Flavian family ( from 1st century from Rome ) wrote New Testament I can compare to saying is the moon made of blue cheese.
