Hey! I took off six months of work too for my wife's third term of pregnancy and my baby's early development, it is still happening.
Other than family, friends, health and hobbies etc. It gets boooooring not having a defined production regimen. I really miss the competition and the challenge that comes with pacing with and against other people.
That, along wirh the lack of engagement in the community or society in general.
You get to the point where it feels like you aren't contributing enough of what you are really good at and what society values and needs.
But traveling, exploration, journeying, finding yourself, all that stuff is great, especially for a restart or a sabbatical or like a refresher. I got to do that in my youth for like 1.5 years before having the family.
We realized that it was not only cheaper but waaaay more valuable for us to utilize our portfolio and be full time parents. Crazy but true.

Hey...really curious to know which part of Canada you are 🙂....just to understand from a cost of living perspective.. cities like Toronto/Vancouver are pretty expensive even for rent haha

Hi Michelle, I have a money question! How much salary increase should I expect for a passing exam let's say MAS2 or exam 5?
