Surprising to see it less busy than when I went last fall. Guess people were there for fall colors.
Convict is a beautiful place. 10 years ago I used to catch some nice ones. The last 5-6 years nothing but dinks🤷.
Love bait and wait it’s my favorite way to catch trout, I always fished trout with spinning lures, but not as fun as letting the fish find your bait and snare them
I've only been there once and I remember mid summer it was very nice and beautiful but at night it was freezing 🥶
Wish me luck going on the 31st coming up ! Got my gear all up !

The pressure is nasty. Glad Im not there.
The one thing Convict has going for it, there's a ton of shoreline for people. The downside, not a lot of parking.
