@@graysonclark3461 i whole heartedly respect that opinion of yours. but the talent is clearly lacking in their newer efforts as opposed to What you don't see. it happens all the time with 90 percent of artists. the artist establishes themselves as talented and hardworking musicians who put out work that is fresh and exciting for their respective genre. they soon realize fans will buy into what they make because everyone has this idea that they're amazing. once they come to that realization, the quality suffers
I respect your opinion as well. But Idk man, I felt that way at first with the new album, but it’s growing on me. It doesn’t have the energy and angst of previous albums, but in terms of musicality, they have definitely expanded and refined their sound. it just feels like a different intention for the music this time, so much more vibe imo, and the songs speak to me on a deeper level in terms of content
