What's with the three crowns against the blue bottom? The national symbol for Sweden.
That's very interesting! In this case, the three crowns (specifically on a navy/blue background) is the coat of arms for the province of Munster in the south of Ireland. The crowns represent the ancient kingdoms of Thomond, Desmond and Ormond.
This concert was part of our "Turas na Mumhan" (Tour of Munster) series, hence why we hung the flags. We were never aware of any Swedish connection with the three crowns. Thanks for sharing!
