If I was a watch reviewer that was for sale and bought, it would make me sick... It is a good to expose these frauds... It is good that someone has the courage to tell the truth...
Doctor, Savior, Cleaner, swears - a perfect reviewer. 2:00 I like the definition. Basically defines a YT watch review 😅 I use to run a magnet against the bracelets to see if pins are really stainless steel. I liked doing that especially on diver watches. Many unpleasant surprises there...
I have never heard of this. I’ve created a watch-tips channel in the watch lab discord. If you have the time, could you please explain how this works there
I like your watches reviews. Thanks for doing it with a frank talk and a touch of humour. Keep up the good work. You help me keeping up my English skills. Bonjour from Montréal !
Thanks for the video. I stopped watching Joe about a year ago. Got tired of the biased reviews. Yes, many reviews I have watched were "paid" endorsements, I get that, and handle the reviewers comments appropriately. Mostly for me is a "3D" view of the watch I may be interested in. As always, we get the truth here. Cheers!!!!
Quick turnaround is much appreciated. I was looking for a replacement pilot watch and may have seen the same ad on eBay. I watched a few clips from these "reviews", but something was off, and I passed if only because they slapped their stupid logo on what should be a clean dial.
@@WatchLab1 You probably did, indirectly. Your reviews helped me notice that if these shills are contorting language to praise every aspect of a watch, it's probably promotional garbage. They bend over backwards to avoid saying anything negative, and if they do, "don't worry about it, it's fine". I know this is life now, but it's exhausting constantly having advertising launched at you.
"I'll give you a good time, regardless if you pay me or not" - said the girl at 3am at the railroad station somewhere in Eastern Europe. I looked at her old Soviet watch and said "No way".
I remember when Average Joe made this big show of accepting an obvious counterfeit watch from China for review, and then doing this super melodramatic video where he talked about how terrible it was that they would impugn his great reputation by sending him a counterfeit. Dude, just say no and spare us the 20 minutes.
Average Joe drives me crazy. In a video where he compares the Islander Mitchel field watch to the Hamilton Khaki Field he points out that the islander is less than half the price and has features sorely missing from the hamilton, but he concludes that the price is justified because Hamilton needs to pay more money for advertising. I understand preferring the hamilton because you like how it looks or how it feels better, but I couldn't get over such a goofy take on the pricing and features and advertising. I don't want to pay extra for ads, If I'm paying a premium I want it to be for a good watch with good features. Maybe the reason he's so concerned about how much money companies are spending on ads is because he's looking to get some of that ad money?

No courage. Really. Anyone can do it.
@@WatchLab1 Many have a slave mentality that a company or a business, even government can do no wrong...

Excellent review bro as usual and under emergency conditions

Good to see that Dr. Brattle is safe and sound!
I’m fine. Bobtown is awesome

I was just in Montreal, flying out. I live on the border. I visited Sherbrooke, QC recently and loved it!
"Average Blow"? - Priceless!
👌👌👌
Thanks. Waiting for quartz watches reviews🎉
Coming soon!

Ha-ha, I'm glad I almost saved you from buying this.

Both the Steeldive and the MaS are cheap watches, however only the Steeldive is inexpensive.

Missed opportunity

I’m sorry I missed all the drama. It sounded sickening.

He sounds like a real idiot.
😆xx
Who's that nice asian lady though?
AI generated.
I can't work out if this is a joke or serious.
It’s an inside joke. Joe and socal are awesome guys and the bird is the word.
I would never buy the bird... One may as well buy a no name $10 watch that fits them...
Did you hear about the guy on the Oregon Trail who was shot for insulting the leader of his wagon train?
He died from dissin’ Terry.
