    Hi A.: in the minutes 11:31, the verb "cry" is a Regular Verb...right? Because you say "cry" is a Irregular Verb??? It confuses me...tell me what is correct, please, thank you...14.11.2017

      Regular verbs in the past form, the rule is to add -ed to the base form. Example: walk -> walked.
      But with the verb cry, we do not add -ed to the base form. We change the "y" to "i" and add -ed. cry -> cried
      That is what I mean when I say it is irregular. Cryed is wrong. The important thing is to learn the correct past form (cried)
      Best wishes
      Andrew

    Hello, Andrew! Let me ask a question. You used "film" and not "movie" in the video, But why?

    • @CrownAcademyEnglish
      @CrownAcademyEnglish  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Both are correct.
      "film" is more common in British English.
      "movie" is more common in American English.
