Went to Grimaldis in the Venetian for my birthday in 2020. It is the BEST PIZZA I have ever had in my 46 years of life...lol. The Don and the Neopolitan are the GOAT...
Grimaldis is AMAZING. Theres no place quite like it. It's always fantastic, in LV, Scottsdale, Brooklyn, doesnt matter. And the Mediterranean salad is also to die for!!!
I still haven't made it to Grimaldi's yet!! It does look good...could hear the crunch of.the crust..nice and thin. I love pizza! I would have to say that Pizza Rock Detroit slice is still my favorite in Las Vegas..100%! BUT Im always ready to try others! 😋
I was born and raised in NYC and I have tried Pizza from all over the Country and Europe including Naples and back in '17 I tried both Grimaldi's and Pin-Up and I thought Pin-Up was way BETTER!!!
I’ve never had pizza in Las Vegas. Burgers, sushi, fish, breakfast places, fried chicken tacos, but never pizza! Maybe on my next trip.❤ thank you, Matthew
I grew up in SF so my favorite in Vegas is Pizza Rock Detroit pizza. 🍕 Oh wait Esther’s Kitchen favorite pizza in Vegas. 😍🍕
Grimaldi’s is my fav. Usually our first vegas meal

I ate at the fashion show mall one twice when I was in Vegas last- made me realise how terrible our pizza is in Australia. I loved Grimaldis my fav
I always wondered about this place. I want you to try Settebello, definitely my fav for that kind of pizza. There’s one across from Green Valley Ranch.
Grimaldis is awesome, and have eaten at the Palazzo one a few times.
Flour & Barley at Linq is my favorite
Grimaldi's has been my go-to pizza spot whenever I visit Vegas. I always get a whole pie from there.

My fave is still Pizza Rock classic pepperoni. Would have never gone there if not for you, so thanks for that!
They were actually Overloaded...And that's not how original authentic Neopolitan pizza should be
Hi Matthew, if you are in the northeast try new haven,ct style neapolitan pizza. But be prepared to wait in line no reservations.And we call it abeets. nonthing like it in the whole country
I haven’t tried grimaldi’s previously but I will make a point of it next trip.
My Top three pizza
1) Evel Pie. An absolute must try.
2) Pizza Rock
3) pinup pizza.
I like all of them - just comes down to personal preference but all do a great job

Had it back in 2019 when we took advantage of the birthday deal. I remember it was very good! We’ll have to try and get back there again sometime. They actually have a location about an hour a way from me here in Wisconsin.
I love Grimaldi for pizza but the Italian restaurants at the Venetian are amazing. You should try their pizza too.

They give you a free pizza on your birthday off you are a regular. They have several off strip locations as well. Good stuff.
The Grimaldi's in my town is a 5.8.out of 10.

Why is it your food videos always make me hungry even after I had a meal?
You gotta order it "crispy" if u want minimal flop. They should always be cooked charred and crispy as standard, but it doesn't always happen that way. Ask for it to be brought-out "uncut" for inspection. That's what I do at Grimaldi's in Scottsdale, AZ. Some people like it undercooked, foolishly thinking "charred" is "burned". Let them order it that way. Cooked properly, Grimaldi's is an 8.5.

In my opinion, no thank you. Grimaldi's will not be on my list of places to try. Floppy, NY style pizza, I'll pass & don't get me started on the calzone. That's why I like your food videos, & honest reviews. 👍
There is one on Eastern in Henderson also. Good pie pizza is good but you need to order a whole pizza to be fresh. They do slices but not fresh imo

Grimaldi’s is the bomb. Awesome pizza. I ate at the one in Fashion Show, the original in Brooklyn and the one in LA(now closed). They use to have many locations in Vegas.
i LOVE ricotta cheese on pizza and in lasagna. the hubby is finally starting to warm up to ricotta on pizza. lol
I'll be in Vegas the 29th of this month for 4 nights, gonna have to try this place out. and the Doughnut Bar.
Bring a big wallet, it's expensive. If you want affordable pizza options relatively speaking, the Miracle Mile Shops has many choices next to Planet Hollywood.

Eat the pizza at the restaurant while its still soft take it home you'll have a oven stone it's hit and miss at Grimaldi's !
I visit Grimaldi's multiple times EVERY vegas trip at Palazzo. The food is amazing!!
Looks a little to floppy. Pizza Rock for a whole pie and Evil Pie for a slice, are my favorite.

Hi Matthew, I watch your video quite often and I was just wondering you said you're from Canada and you spend a lot of time in Las Vegas doing food luck. Question is isn't there any good restaurant in Canada where you could do food log instead of going to Las Vegas so much. Maybe your audience would like to see some restaurants in your hometown Canada area. Take care we'll keep watching.

Try Pizza Rock or Settebello's in Green Valley.
I'll certainly try them next time I'm down there. BTW, I think EvelPie in downtown is the best I've had since The Pie Pizzeria in Salt Lake City.
I looked at their menu. They have no lactose free cheeses and mainly meat. I realize that they have no "obligation" to cater to people who have certain food problems. I hope you enjoy it. I cannot.

We always do our own. Ricotta always. Just went last week.
Since I am planning on staying downtown.. I will stick with Pizza Rock, Evel Pie, Good Pie and since I will be staying at The Plaza… Pop Up Pizza! That is enough choices for me! Probably cheaper, too.
Downtown does have the best pizza!

Now I want a calzone 🤤 , they do put a lot of ricotta next time easy on the ricotta and extra mozzarella for me! Something about that pizza sauce dude !! So good!! I always get pepperoni with jalapeños and a cold Stella 👌
The Calzone didn’t look very good. I don’t like a dry and chewy crust. The pizza looked ok, but is it better than Pizza Rock? ☹️

I think Pizza Rock makes a great Pizza, but with that said, I've been to the Green Valley location and Grimaldi's pizza was good as well.
Pizza Rock is the best but I will have to try that place next I am in town.

I am a pizza fanatic... but have never liked NY style pizza. But I have to admit beside it being a floppy, greasy mess (which is true NY style pizza, one of the reason I dislike NY pizza) , it looked really good. I will try it next time I am in Vegas maybe they can change my mindset.
The Lady on the oven at Pizza Rock is rude !!! Its funny how these place expect for you to spend premium money for subpar food and subpar service !!!
They have the best toppings, but Pizza Rock's Detroit style is the best pizza.

Grimaldi’s is overrated, the pizza’s good not amazing and over priced even at the local locations. I disliked the ricotta cheese in calzones as well. It’s a pass for me as far as Vegas pizza joints go.
I don’t know where you eat your pizza in Vegas but for Italian this is an amazing place. Every time I go it’s been great.

Agreed. I've been to the Henderson location. It's good but not the best in either Vegas or Henderson.
It maybe be overrated but here in the south the pizza is terrible so an overrated decent pizza would be gold for me.
Place looked solid! 7.3...too much flop but solid undercarriage and crisp. I was never a big Calzone fan while living in New York due to not liking ricotta cheese that much. I mean a little is fine but Calzone's always stuffed the ricotta in. And you're supposed to dip the Calzone in the sauce! Amanda would be disappointed in you ;)

Got to be honest the location in NYC is way better. I was at the vegas location in June 2022 and was not a fan.
Can you just tell us how you’re not 500 pounds 😂? I’m sure most food bloggers take a bite or two for the camera and save, give away the food or whatever. You however eat most of it on camera to tell us about it. I get full just watching you eat lol

I went there during my last Vegas trip in June, and was very underwhelmed by my pepperoni pizza. I don’t think I would return, many better places to go on the Strip and Downtown.
For sure better pizza around. The only one i like here is “the don”
