For any still wondering, at 2:02 Psychic Noise completely prevents the use of moves that would heal the user, whether the moves deal damage or not. Meaning Araquanid would NOT have been able to use Leech Life at all. This goes for all damage-dealing moves (Bitter Blade, Giga Drain, Drain Punch) and status moves (Roost, Recover, Rest). Psychic Noise negates the use of such moves entirely. Hope this helps.
It’s interesting that the game still lets you click the moves though, unlike moves like taunt or encore where you’re locked out. Kinda punishes players who don’t know lol

I was testing Pokémon and I really liked the fight, Porigon Z was my nemesis by having Pokémon with little speed. I had to attack with Tsareena with tripel axel But I got nervous when I had to exceed the speed of porigon z, but I didn't want to burn jaja. @@inteleonarmy1838 I have some loose plans at the moment but the way I've set it up is each roster will have a max quota from various tier levels, so each team will only be allowed to draft 1 OU-UUBL mon and only Pokemon from NU and below will be allowed to Tera. I'd probably aim for Great Tusk as my OU pick just because it's so versatile but I'm thinking Bruxish as one of my Tera captains because a lot of the folks I play with HATE Bruxish and I think it would be funny to beat them with something they dislike lol

I also have some loose plans for a sandstorm team with shell smash minior as a early game sweeper, and a hitmontop as a support mon to clear hazards, have fake out support and to stop priority moves with the new move upper hand since if minior is low or at middle of health, a sucker punch from chien pao kills it, but with hitmontop it prevents that. But I think you have a great idea in mind which will definitely spice stuff up
@@inteleonarmy1838 I also had Minior on the shortlist since it could in theory mix it up from the standard shell smashing to do more defensive or support sets. Also targeting Sableye as a lower tier mon just because of Prankster + Encore. If you know or think you know something will set up, locking it into the setup move is huge. Whimsicott is another option for that, too.

The coverage has always been respectable. I liked the Z attack but the switch to Tera means that if you don't stop it from getting a few hits off it's going to cause some trouble
I swear to god Acid Spray is so underrated on Tentacruel. Its a ncie offensiv move to have and if u are able to get of 1 or 2 u can pressure anything that doesnt resist or immunize. Together wih Blacksludge, Gigadrain and Scald it can tank like a champ while dishing out damage. Extremly underrated Pokemon - u can even go SP.Def Bonkers and give it the Assaultvest.

I love toucannon, i use his hidden ability sheer force since for some reason he has a lot of special attacks with secondary abilities and this catches people off guard often hes actually not a terrible mixed attacker but he also suffers from a movepool that doesnt flow too well either but i find him usable

Toucannon also gets sheer force boosted heat wave and flash cannon as coverage, and boomburst, a powerful 140 base power stab move. Haydunn should make a part 2 for this set its filthy

Man, I had whiplash watching this. Is bullet seed/grass move regular effectiveness against dragons now? I could have SWORN all dragons resisted the basic elements (grass, fire, water, and electric) yet the bullet seed is checked as neutral damage and hits for neutral damage. Every resource I've checked says Grass is not very effective to dragons so did something change or is this a glitch?
as someone who only recently got Pokemon on the switch - how do people have access to all pokemons in wifi battles in 2024? Do they actually have to train them, EVs, IVs, moveset, etc. Or can you pick whatever you want? I see a bunch of shinies in these battles and always wanted to know if these people legitimately own these pokemon on their game or if it's like Pokemon showdown where you can pick whatever you want to use
7:17 They don't out speed you because they got caught in the Sticky Web. Webs bring them to -1. Rapid Spin grants +1. -1 added to +1 = 0. They are at neutral speed.

They should honestly just get rid fo synchronize because it's a way worse version of magic bouncer just give all synchronize pokemon magic bounce like synchronize gives the same status to whoever inflicted it but magic bounce throws it back at them you don't get it and it also bounces back entry hazards taunt status lowering moves and alot more
I used this against @justweavile and it did really nicely not to mention my build/set for it is really good that being: 252 hp and attack with 4 in physical defense and adamant nature with the moves beak blast, brick break, Tera ground Tera blast and roost, holding the red card because it can take atleast one hit from set up sweepers most of the time and via red card you can beak blast which is always goes first therefore you can burn their sweeper if it’s physical and then red card switches it out and whatever comes in takes a beak blast to the face which not a lot like not to mention you could even just roost to get most of your health back while they’re forced to switch out etc it’s very good and useful sorry for the long comment but id love to you use this build/set or atleast rate it for me haha
Toucanon is a fantastic wall breaker and I think Beak blast also destroys protect or did they nurf it from gen7? 🤔 I never saw anyone use this in gen7’s meta game

Set I like to run is fury attack acrobatics bullet seed , rock blast/ beak blast depending on rest of team with blunder policy so if fury attack misses it doubles speed and acrobatics

I've had more success with grass tera to boost bullet seed rather than ground tera and toucannon can be much better as a lead due to its move variety, strap a life orb to it and its a good surprise on an opponents lead
