Unk, let me put it this way. I'm a 31 year old male, air force vet and a "bachelor". I recently sold my 17 Lincoln MKZ and bought a 07 Hyundai Santa Fe. The entire time I had my Lincoln I never attracted a woman that was the type worth all the things Ocho is speaking of. After I traded my vehicle I found the one type of woman I said I'd be willing to give a try, within a month. After we started dating, I asked her if she would've spoken to me "she slid into my dm's first" if I was in my Lincoln. It was a quick no.
You're 100% correct you don't "need" a woman. With that being said, Ocho is also 100% correct. Every King needs a Queen. Every house needs to be a home. There is a different type of comfortability one gains whenever he/she is in a healthy fruitful relationship. Not saying you're not in a growth state now, but it sounds a lot like Unk wants to stay in his comfort zone. I'm not judging you, but I will say this, you're an accomplished man that many of us look up to, as Ocho mentioned, we'd all love to see with that smile he is talking about. Good luck man!!
