Azores Islands: How to spot whales in the ocean , Pinhal da Paz, Furnas, Rocha de Relva

we met guys working for a whale watching tour company and they told is what are the indications to spot whales
we visited the Pinhal de Paz natural reserve, from where you are able to see the south and the north coast in the same time
we visited Furnas, the island’s center for geothermal activity
-we hiked Rocha de Relva, the trail leads through traditional small villages and vineyards

Açores have lots of places likes these, you probably know this, but in the plain lands near the sea, called Fajã, usualy there's cultivated gardens and fields, bcz the land is fertil with less rocks and the weather is better with protection of the winds. People do some agriculture there and then, with horse, donkey or now with 4x4 motocycles get the products out to there homes or markets. Some of this places used to have people living there but now, most are empty or are only used in the summer. Thanks for the views

at the end it's always just me and my phone (the people are grilled during the hikes, I like to make barbecues)
