- In a Paris museum, in the Ancient Egypt gallery, strange things are occurring. Our hero decides to visit and sit out the night to see what he might observe.
We've had werewolves and vampires, so it was about time we got around to Ancient Egypt.

So appreciate your willingness to share and just talking to us as if we were there chatting. It’s really great.
I like talking to you
I read this story ages ago but it was much more enjoyable listening to you read it. The background information you share is always an interesting plus. Thank you so much.
Very welcome!
Very enjoyable narrartion, Tony. Thank you. Your addition of information about Doyle was so appreciated.
I first read this as a pre-teen in the 50s. At that time, and since, I've always thought of it as the origin of The Mummy.
I think it is . Not enough mummy stories these days
@@ClassicGhost Thanks, I was afraid it was just me!😌
I’ve just discovered your lovely podcast a few months ago and I listen every morning while I’m getting ready for work. After finishing The Ring of Thoth just now I realize I missed telling you Happy Birthday by a day. So, happy belated birthday! 🥳
Big fan of Conan Doyle, and you narrated this work brilliantly!
Thank you kindly!
Thank you. For a gripping story and enhancing narration. Please continue your fantastic work.
THAT was excellent.
Really enjoyed the Egyptian theme here. One of the very best, favourite readers too 👍 thank you keep them coming
If you enjoy Egyptian themed stories a Canadian author Pauline Gedge writes really good books on the subject including one concerning the search for the so called Book of Thoth.
I think a lot of very intelligent people suffer from that not able to focus syndrome. They are interested in so many things and want to try everything. I've often wondered how writers like Doyle and Dickens found time to do any thing, they were so prolific! Thank you for your stories.
I think they wore themselves out. Certainly Dickens
And had no internet....
Lovely. Just got off work (postal service), favorite way to wind down.
It’s slightly different to your standard ghost story but fun
dark world sounds interesting ill check it out on amazon. love your narrations and analysis afterwards.
Quite wordy, (not a criticism, simply an observation) the way Doyle writes, but you guided us through with your talent and aplomb. I also GREATLY enjoyed your account of Doyle’s varied background. (Kudos as your success continues to grow! You deserve it!) As always, a hearty Thank You!
Thanks as always for your kind support and encouragement Rachel
Dark world's nice hope you have good coverage
Thoroughly enjoyable, thank you.
Just found you. Absolutely in love with this channel. Thank you for all your hard work and energy.
Thank you!
It was interesting to hear the Crichton mentioned!
I’ve only visited it once or twice
@@ClassicGhost I live on that which was part of the Crichton Estate.
really enjoyed it Tony---thanks, love your personable commentaries afterwards too.
Good luck on your release!
I got out ok in the end.
Thanks
Very good 👍
Wordy, yes, but enjoyable nonetheless. Thank you very much!
I just finished my third book written by you & enjoyed all of them (Kindle Unlimited)!! (They weren't the Dark World.) I hope in the future you write & read for TH-cam more ghost stories or haunted house stories! I've enjoyed every one of your TH-cams!
I really appreciate this encouragement. It inspires me to do more
Your "accent" is convincing as always. Enjoyable story.
Every woman dreams of an eternal love

We Australians love bad aussie accents
I think I was trying to do French in this one. That’s worse
...& not by the hairs of my chin-ee, chin-chin, Goldielocks says...
maybe Doyle had ADHD too.
Not impossible at all
