He never cracks under pressure. It’s immensely difficult to overcomes nerves when you’re at Olympic and everyone eyes are on you. I don’t skate but I look up to him so much ❤️
Yuzuru was so intensed and anxiety bc on the day of practice he failed on almost every jumps, but he won, this is the absolute champion.
the secret to being the greatest skater of all time? always, always simulate every move you want to make in your head over and over until it's imprinted in your mind then your body moves on its own.
0.56 , Men's single will start in 7 minutes. Yuzuru totally focused on his program, Nathan Chen, bored, yawning behind him . Yup, I know I stan the right man. Fly Yuzu!
Thank you for sharing with us! 8:22 It must be so stressful to have a camera pointing right at your face while you're already stressed and trying to focus
What I have noticed is this that the pressure is so great on all of these skaters at such prestigious competitions. Have to win because parents made major sacrifices for me, have to win because I represent my country, have to win to prove their sacrifices were worth it that with some if the mess up even once they get inside their minds and then it's over. I don't know how many times when I witness that first mishap I tell them don't let it affect you shake it off. This young man has stopped himself from doing that some how. He had a very bad practice and shook it off and won this. They need to hear more ok you messed up but you can still skate and win or place well.
Yelena Isinbáyeva had the same psychological technique. The amazing part is they learned that by themselves, there was not and sports psychologist behind so...one technique to sucess.
someone's jams he said Arigatogozaimashita which is thank you in Japanese 😂😂 but he says it so fast you never know what he’s saying but he’s looking at all the banners that people have✌🏻
he is a genius, the best ever!! He doesn't simply skate, he creates...his skating is ART. He belongs to the Olimpus, he is a god of Olimpus!!

8:02 I was impressed by Mr. Kikuchi, a physiotherapist who encouraged Yuzuru by beating his chest with his fist.

Thanks for sharing ♥️
I always wonder whom he looked at and eye contact with at 00:06 it seems that person means a lot to him :))
I believe he was looking at his fans and banners
Maybe it was his mother? She means the world to him.
If I saw correctly lmao he said "thank u mom"? Or I'm just dumb lol😂
someone's jams he said Arigatogozaimashita which is thank you in Japanese 😂😂 but he says it so fast you never know what he’s saying but he’s looking at all the banners that people have✌🏻
I think judging by the shape of his mouth he said "Tadaima(mean=I'm home)." I think it's a reaction after seeing a lot of banners from fans.
Thank you for the video!!!!!
