@@divineoverhand5307 Kyle was breaking the law when he went state to state with an AR-15. The laws are different in Kenosha and he broke the law.
As for Grosskreuts, there is no evidence that he was involved in any arson, but the people who were participating in the arson, the sheriff said many of them came from out of state to protest. While it's legal to protest in another city or state, it isn't legal to do arson. So the people who were doing the rioting shouldn't have been there either and neither should have Rittenhouse
It doesn't matter anyways if you debate Kyle was breaking the law. The police and National guard asked people not to come because they said it would only complicate matters and make it harder for them to contain the riots. So it doesn't matter, any normal person when told to stand down by the cops, would stand down.

Under Wisconsin statutes that say anyone under 18 who "goes armed" with any deadly weapon is guilty of a Class A misdemeanor, Kyle Rittenhouse, 17, was not old enough to legally carry the assault-style rifle he had.
But John Monroe, a lawyer who specializes in gun rights cases, believes an exception for rifles and shotguns, intended to allow people age 16 and 17 to hunt, could apply.
Rittenhouse didn't come there to hunt. This is clearly a technicality and a bias judge.
But you obviously see no issue for a 17 year old kid to go across state lines to protect a business??? That's madness.
Even the cops said that the militias and independent people made it way more difficult to restore order and they didn't want any help.
Let the cops and national guard deal with it and insurance can take care of property damage. The national guard was called in the very next day, so it's not as if this was going on for weeks... No murders were needed in this case and Kyle shouldn't have even been there.
A black guy was killed by police. BLM came up to protest. Most were peaceful but then arson and rioting broke out. This is inexcusable but these people should be brought to justice. Property damage is one thing... killing someone is another all together. The very next day the national guard was called in... Let the cops and national guard do their job... they specifically said they didn't want any help from militias.
Militias have the right to be there, but it didn't help and the cops didn't want the help. So Rittenhouse was aggravating the situation by being there and so were the militias. This is why we have insurance and police in the first place...

I remember then the Rittenhouse shootings happened, at the time everyone was screaming and shouting about this and that reason for it. After watching the trial it was pretty clear that Not Guilty was the only reasonable verdict. I think what concerns me is even after the evidence is presented some people (as highlighted in this video) still hold to narratives that are simply factually incorrect.
yeah, that's the first thing I said after seeing the recording of the incident. It was clear he was being attacked and in his full rights. The argument for why he was there was non-sense either, cuz if I recall right, he worked there And they lived pretty much on the state border, so going 1 town over is crossing state lines and HEAVILY argued as being as issue...
As a conservative it makes me happy to see people on both sides relying on the facts rather than their own political beliefs

It ultimately just comes down to him gathering people together and then reaping the benefits of something he barely did work on. Even Train has had wild debates with Destiny and other Twitch political figures on in this wild west format, but he's at least put effort and actually spoke in these things. One easy way to have fewer of them is to encourage people to have skin in the game. Get them to make falsifiable, specific predictions (with expiry dates) based on their most cherished premises and ideally bet a sum that's not insignificant to them on those predictions.
If they're confident enough to gamble with public policy based on those beliefs, surely they're willing to bet say... a few hundred bucks?
