3 Women, 1 Night, Many Crimes: November

Today, we're talking about November, a fantastic crime comic series from the team of Matt Fraction and Elsa Charretier. Telling the story of 3 women who separately get involved in the same crime over one night, it's an outright comic hidden gem.
Quick note, in the video I mention the Christmas retail period. This isn't downplay the holiday of Christmas, both the religious and secular celebrations, but to indicate the onslaught of Christmas marketing we get the second Thanksgiving ends (and often before). For me, Christmas holiday season doesn't start until December 1st, so we're not there yet! Hope that might help explain my thinking a little bit.

I first came across Elsa as she broke down Mazzuchellis art work in Batman Year One. And then I started looking at her work. Beautiful art work indeed. Thanks for highlighting her work here.

Elsa's channel is some of the best work on comics in general. Her eye for composition and recognizing techniques that other artists have used comes through so well and her videos have definitely enhanced my enjoyment of the medium. Thanks for watching!

It's no Man's Search For Meaning, but it's a good one. Worth the price of admission for Elsa's fluid lines and Hollingsworth's complimentary color palettes alone, the cool interconnecting stories are a bonus!

If you have access to them through a library system, I'd definitely suggest checking them out that way. I love this series but it's really meant to be read all together, which means buying 4 books and that can be tough as a blind buy. However you get to read them, I hope you enjoy them as much as I did!

I know many people will only buy the big nice version, but sadly I don't think this will get that treatment. Also, I would say buy all these at once. It's a fun and quick read.
