This happens too much in VDM. Many drivers have won while ignoring the briefing. Usually chase car corrects due to something that was not expected. Chase driver gets faulted for some reason, they fail to see why it happened originally. VDM also uses maximum 40 seconds and use TV cameras, they do not leave game to check replay in slow-mo. Most other comps check replays.
@@gkdesigns696 I agree with everything but the last point. I think it’s incredibly ridiculous to expect the judges to leave the game, open the replay, and scroll to the exact moment of conflict. Mainly because it adds SO MUCH TIME to the competition. The cameras I used to judge my run with Hauge were in game. I think leaving game and checking stuff in replay is frankly ridiculous as you can definitely tell what happens in game without adding hours of extra time to the broadcast. The comps I see that have 6 hour top 32’s and 15 minute calls… are ridiculous.

@@brandongardner404 yeah true, it will take more time. Some comps do that when there is a specific crash where fault is hard to point out.
