    Great review. I have one on the shelf, but have not installed it yet. Mine is the other style. I like your design better.

    HI Robert, Nice review! I like having blind spot detection on my car and it would be nice to have it on the Goldwing. Definitely a great safety feature.

      Hey Tom, thank you. It seems to work pretty well... time will tell.

    Tested by a Pro! Always thoughtfully presented. Just what we need a 3rd eye. Awareness is 360. Knowing what you don’t know. Thank you Robert.

    Good Morning Robert, thank you for the unboxing, installation guidance and test video. I have viewed a few videos related to motorcycle blindspot systems and from my perspective, they all look aftermarket. I have installed several aftermarket systems on my 2023 Goldwing andI think overall they match the quality of a factory installation. If I'm honest the Rivco Aeropegs make not look factory, but they are functional and well designed. The two main systems I miss on the Goldwing is Blindspot monitoring and Adaptive Cruise Control. I have a feeling we will see these in 2025. As far as the Blindspot monitor not triggering when you pass another vehicle, I believe you will see the same logic on vehicle factory systems. In the mean time, I will watch for a cleaner Blindspot Monitoring System installation. I believe one of these aftermarket companies should work with Muth Mirrors. All the Best.

    My 2016 Infiniti has it, & I don't pay a lot of attention to it, but occasionally, I realize, perhaps I should. Anyway, thanks for your presentation.

      Many of my cars have had it… and it has saved my bacon a time or two.

    Thank you for this video, really appreciate it. I'm going to use this video, combined with your dash cam install video and tackle installing both on my bike.
    Cheers!

    Thanks for that video Robert. I think you got a really good product there. Do you have any information about how it would work while towing a trailer? Ride Safe my friend.

      I think it should just add an extension cable and it will work fine. But we have not installed it on this type of motorcycle.

      @robertwhitemoto  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Larry I would think that is a tough call…you would have to mount it high (the instructions say it could be as high as 51 inches, but there is no good place that high on the bike… and mounting to your trailer might be too low.

    About 10 days ago, I was sitting at a traffic light waiting to turn left. As I was sitting there, a car came screaming up behind me, slammed on its brakes and swerved to the right and went up over the curb to avoid everyone. Having this radar would help alert me to that coming a little bit sooner to perhaps get out of the way. I'm sold.

      @@robertwhitemoto biggest thing I'm worried about is installing it. Goldwings are tough... Also want to get the dashcam. Glad you're liking it! That's good to know.

    Good review, Robert. I agree that it should detect your blind spot regardless of passing or gaining. Look forward to a follow-up review and rear-end detection. Look very comfortable doing product reviews.

      Thank you Mac… I haven’t quite figured out a use case for a rear detection… maybe you can speed up real fast if you see it… I do know for a fact both indicators light up. I triggered them backing out of my garage. Thanks for watching and commenting. Ride safe friend !
