I don't know why you wouldn't run a kill switch with a gasoline powered boat, its quite dangerous; like you'd start one on a real boat. The throttle mechanism sometimes locks up or the battery could go below the voltage needed to operate the failsafe, glitch out, however, in which case the failsafe is rendered useless. This is when you would engage the killswitch. stops the engine on command, forget the receiver, it got you in that place to start with.

Unfortunately no it can't be Repaired. The Crack is on a hard bend at the ride pad area, ordered a new hull.
Dang that sucks i been there with my lazer 45 lost signal at over 60 mph heartbreaking but learn from each problem.
