I was not a football watcher at all until I saw Messi and without knowing much about the skills involved I immediately saw the genius of a man who did what he did with his feet. And missing a couple goals that should be on any Messi fan. Firstly - #19 and #17 are top 10 goals!. Based on the timelines and the significance of those goals. And #17 can be on anyone’s top 5 Messi goals. The goal that defies logic! You are also missing five el Classico goals at a minimum. Just the share significance of el Classico puts them above most goals he ever scored. For fans those were the most meaningful ones. The goals from his first hat trick and it was against Real Madrid in the el Classico. “Remember the name Lionel Messi. 19 years of age. With 10 man Barcelona!” We also have to consider his goals in the bernabeu when Marcelo burst his lip by trying to cut him off. The last minute goal when he takes his shirt off and shows the Madrid fans!!! Or even his last goal of 27 in el Classico basically secured La liga and was with 10 men on the pitch for Barcelona. How do you even have some of these goals on here. Some are great goals. For sure. But the opposition was subpar. He should do those things against them. Like Eibar goal? #8?!?!?Doesn’t deserve to be on any top 50 list. As great as a goal. It really lacks significance to true football fans. #10 should also be a little higher. #14 should be at minimum #10 as Sevilla was a strong CL team then and top 4 la liga. And where is the mention for the goal against Ecuador to help Argentina advance to the WC? And no goals at all from the WC? I mean come on bro?
