That's exactly what the powers that be are trying to do where I live in Florida. And some of us who try to help the homeless humans and homeless animals, are punished or threatened when we get caught. Hell, the people that run the town I live in are mostly crooks anyway and put that tax payer money in their pockets instead of doing right by the citizens. When they just don't care, you can't force them to have a heart. Thank you for being a voice for the homeless.
As the previous homeless person, this is not just homelessness it this is called drug addicts. And actual genuine homeless person that doesn't like to do meth is not going to pile trash at a camp and retention to themselves because they don't like to be messed with. That is just a tweaker mess
I was thinking the same thing. Look at the mess they are living in. I realize tidiness is not exactly priority but that is complete negligence. These people destroy what others have worked so hard for. I have compassion but I am a realist also. Choices have consequences. If meth is most important, you’ll see what meth does for you. You are disabling your credit by telling us these people are caring, loving, good people. Is it the drug that is the bad person causing destruction or depleting another’s hard worked resource? I don’t wish living like that for any person but if the consequences don’t wake you, what will?
Yea. It's one thing to live outdoors, it's another thing to just exploit and pollute an entire area until it's unusable for any purpose, then move on to destroy another area and leave the mess for someone else to clean up. WTF?! Where does it end?
Agee! I live in Jacksonville. We have private and public charities that offer a place for a homeless person to stay, 24/7/365. The drug addicted won't go there because they can't use at these places. They love their drugs so much they'll live in the woods here.
I wouldnt survive a week there. The mosquitos, the heat, the snakes...what a horrible place to be homeless. Not that there's a great place to be homeless, but sleeping in a swamp must be just HELL. I pray for these people. No one should have to live like that.
Why can't they keep the garbage cleaned up!? They can take it in but not take it out! Maybe they could keep the police off their backs if they didn't destroy the area with their squalor and junk
Not to mention hazardous waste such as dirty needles and human waste. It’s a health hazard and breeding ground for diseases. No excuse for all the trash and filth. They should have to clean it up themselves. I feel sorry for the animals that have to live in areas the homeless trash and destroy.
That's true and if I was, I would take the free bus ride to the reputable shelter here that is safe and clean. There I will have not only a hot and a cot but resources to help me find work and to even get trained for some field of work. The resources are here if one cares to be clean and sober rather than flying high.
The trash situation is what is so bad. When someone is an addict, they're not only throwing household trash out, but also drug needles, broken bottles, etc. No one wants this near their homes. It's not that people don't care. It's all this other stuff left there when they leave. Our out reach program has stopped giving out clothing because when we do cleanups, that's what is scattered all around. We sponsor laundry days and shower days. We do give out a clean pair of undergarments on shower days but no extra clothing. It's costing us way too much in clean up and garbage fees.
I've met homeless people before I've seen them in Oregon Washington State Washington d.c. New York but most of the ones I ran across didn't litter didn't pollute the ones I knew in Oregon and Washington went around picking up trash because they may be homeless but they didn't want to live in trash
@@janielunday5012 True. That should be the reason not to destroy natural landscapes. There are recyclable items but just all that trash is dumped there. Even if it was in one area but its everywhere. I just don't get it.
I believe they don't clean up after their selves because alot of the houseless have given up hope no excuse because cleaning up would be better for sure for nature for their health many are on drugs/ alcohol and that path leads to covering up feelings
I've been homeless for 17 months now, living in my car as an older woman. I've experienced some situations that have really made me feel like garbage. I had my life and older years planned and secure. UNTIL the day we had a house fire and I lost it all, including my family. No one really knows why someone is homeless. There are many reasons, and it's hard to get back on your feet. I can tell you it doesn't matter why we are homeless. We are all treated the same as criminals, drugatics, alcoholics, less than, garbage and the list goes on. I'm tired and worn. It's hard and demoralizing.
God bless you, anyone can have misery in their life and end up in the street, happened to me , luckily lasted 2 days but made me realize how low I was without a bed and roof and you see the world with different eyes, very scary. Homeless are always in my prayers.
Don't give up, you can find a way out. I suggest you check into traveling jobs, where the company pays for your lodgings. Some even do workcampers where they pay for campsites all over the country, and you live in an RV That's what saved me, and I'm an older lady
If the homeless could try and keep their camps a little more tidy and keep trash pricked up maybe people wouldn’t complain as much? I hope they get the help they need.
Dumping trash can be a problem when there is NO trash dumpster OR trash pick up from the city, county or state gov. Private trash companies charge money, plus you must have an address to get trash pick up service. Try keeping your weekly, monthly, trash without a way to dispose of it and see how fast that pile grows out of control.
I was way down on my luck before and ended up staying inside a tool trailer. I found some quilts to hang on the walls for extra warmth because it was drafty. I neatly stacked all the stuff stored in there and made such a comfy space. I had pets with me (was running from a bad saturation and took them with me not knowing it would end up so bad) I managed to make it safe, it smelled nice with a little cleaning and sprinkling of carpet freshener, I even got permission for an extension cord and had a reading lamp! Of course that encouraged huge flying insects. My point is, there is zero excuse for living in filth. Just my opinion.
who's tool trailer was it?? you say theres zero reason to live in filth when you were clearly being provided shelter by someone. keep your awful advice to yourself
@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS - that's just one of many reasons. There are many many reasons like bad credit, high cost of living, medical expenses. And it just continues to get worse every year.
First, a mandatory rehab program. Then, placement into a tiny home community, complete with staff for emotional support. There should also be a designated area for overnight pod rentals; this is working very well at Eden for the Homeless in Missouri. These pods have a door that locks, heat, phone chargers, bathrooms on site, and people who monitor and enforce the rules. Those who show up are sometimes high/inebriated, but they are checked in (no questions asked) and are SAFE for the night.
just enabling them with no requirements to get better. These in-and-out places DO NOTHING to help the problem. he's talking about real people { elderly, handicapped, etc.}that COULD USE HELP.
@@thomasgirty6397 Those who don't want to get better should at least be offered overnight pod rentals; living on the streets is dangerous. Again, there would be staff on hand to offer help/counseling. Those who stop abusing substances could be rewarded with a tiny home ..... The chronically disabled (substance free) would automatically be given tiny homes. These homes can be built for as little as $2000; there could be different levels.
@jvt.abstract4610 ya I tried that and degenerate drug addicts took advantage of it. Can't always cry jesus and have sympathy for people who don't deserve it.
I've been homeless and addicted to Alcohol. I was so sick of living that way I checked into a rehab and completed a 3 year program followed by 6 months in a half way house inorder to re-establish living a normal life. I hated rehab and it was so difficult to stay but I pushed thru and decided that I was out of options. I had nobody but God himself to take my life and reform it. It was long and uncomfortable but today I've been clean and sober for over 8 years and feel like things could have been much worse for me. Watching these people I know the resources to redirect your life are still available. The program I did was free for me and operated by donations from the community. It's a tough choice to make but living like the people in this video is no way to live and all it takes is a commitment to a better life. There is still hope and I wish nothing but the best for the homeless they just have to make that choice for themselves. Life hasn't been without problems even being sober and working countless hours but that's life and anyone in this predicament can do it just invest in your well being. ✌️
I was homeless for many years , and now ; Thank ; Jesus ; I have a place too stay in the mountains.I travel the country , some times on a bicycle , hoping too help people along the way , as ; Jesus leads me too do so.
My daughter has been homeless in the area of Denver, CO for the last six years. It doesn't matter the condition of the camp, whether there's garbage strewn all over or kept clean and tidy, they just bring in a garbage truck and haul it of to who knows where. Her homeless communities have stopped sexual assaults along various running trails and then boom here come the garbage trucks. We really should solve our existing homeless situation before opening up our Southern border to everyone.
They bring all those items to the dump, Douglas. Your daughter's whole life and her possessions have been brought to the municipal sanitation disposal because yourself and a great many other people have failed her. By the looks of it, the immigrants and your opinion of them should be the least of your concerns.
@daniellecapichano905 Yes, Danielle, they take most of it to the landfill, and the good items are taken away to be sold near the landfill. I know I did NOT fail my daughter. If allowing her to fall in love with a hard working boy, who after living nearby for a couple years, moved back to help his dad, after his mother died, with the ranch and live on the ranch in the 2nd house, then I guess i did fail her for loving a son who wants to help their parent. anyways I have four wonderful granddaughters that I love. I believe it was the father of her children who didn't say a word to anyone when one of his friends kidnapped her and smacked her around enough to give her a TBI, and he then had her determined to be an unfit mother for running away. She stays there, rather than come back home, to be close to her children.
I don’t get it .. they are letting in thousands of people in our country giving them housing & cell phone and checks . But the ones been here all their lives have to live like this , when their luck runs out
😅😅😅 your so slow for even saying that! You don’t care about your own people what makes you think you care about others??? 😅😅😅😅 this is a MUCH bugger picture your blind
I agree, it's a disgrace. All to try and get those democrat votes. It amazes me any American thinks the present government is going to help them or even care about them. And what's ironic is that the illegal ones here have changed their minds about the democrats and will not be voting for them.
Those tree houses are great. It makes things a lot safer; especially for single women. You can pull ladder up so no one can easily get up there. It's just so heartbreaking.
@@chilltime4878 sonetimes that has nothing to do with it. If you are blessed be grateful. It can happen to the people when they least expect it. Some enjoys that life style. Some are addicts. Wait a litle while you will see a lot of people losing thier homes and car because they owe more on it than they are worth. Been through this in the 80's. Watched a lot of friends and family lose thier job then thier home. Airline jobs railroad jobs. If they found a job IF, it paid 7 bucks an hr tops. Things are going to change for a lot of people. It's worse now than I have ever seen it. Global situations are escalating it now.
I was homeless for years in Florida. I lived in mangrove swamps sometimes and loved it. I was not a junkie, just a confused weed smoking autist who took 4 decades to find my way. I didn't live like this though. I kept everything orderly and never left a mess behind. I have a deep respect for nature. I also stayed away from other homeless people. The few times the police came to visit me, they told me my setup was pretty neat 👌 I built an awesome tree house once..
I know where you're coming from.about 40 years ago. How's the deputy sheriff here in Florida? And someone pointed out to me and another deputy. About 3 homeless males in the sword. It area which we were scratching our heads. Cause we've been in and out that woods. And we've never found an encampment. So we went a little deeper. Where was very difficult to get and normally? I would never go through hip. Deep water, but we did when we came out to another high and dry area of land it was almost like an island deep in the swamp we found an encampment that was the. Best set up well. Maintain clean encampment. I have ever seen not even in the military. No one was there at the time and we came back later and found three of these middle age to elderly men out there. To make this short, We did not know these guys. Because they stayed low-key off. The grid never on the streets begging for money. No addictions whatsoever all. Well drinking problems. of them held 40 hour plus a week jobs. They had bank accounts. They Just wanted to be left alone. The property they were on which technically they are trespassing. They would go around the entire property, which was a probably about a 100 acres. And clean it the entire 100 acres. They would pick up trash and improve it. It was virtually leave no trace. When I asked them why they did that? They said well, if I own this place. I would expect the same. And they said they don't know who owns the property but They should do that because they were living there. We. Never bothered these guys again and on occasion. Me and another deputy who'd befriend of them Would take pizza out to them in spend a few moments with them by their campfire. All Of them had lots of money in the bank account. I asked them. Would the money they have? Why wouldn't they just go get an apartment together? And the answer was Really sad they said They didn't deserve to have nothing nice in life. Pretty much. They were homeless for so long that they became institutionalized to their situation. But never saw them without a smile. Hard workers. Great poker players l o l. And then the flip side of this coin you had this idiot with a mask on this video living in squalor who cares nothing more, did himself and where he's going to get his next fix.
I don't understand why people who cannot help themselves, get pets. That's yet another mouth to feed, take care of and try to keep healthy. Pets don't have choices like people do. Poor doggy.
Y’all care more about a damn animal than a person, smh. The damn dog was probably homeless too when they found him. You want the dog with them, or running thru your neighborhood tearing up garbage and biting kids? Then when y’all call animal services on the dog, they get put up in a slave cell and become neglected. What’s wrong with y’all 🧠?
food isnt an issue people help. a dog might actually have a blast out there, versus being locked in a house all day. they need dogs for protection, its not a PET ... its an alarm.. thats what dogs have done for humans since the start of humanity.. only in the last 40 years americans and rich snobs think its a PET... a dog is a server to humans.. thats what they LOVE to do..
you do realize only in 5 english speaking countries and since ac was invented dogs are considered holy right? 98% of planet earth a dog trades 24 hour security for a meal. been like that for thousands of years.
You can tell a lot about a society by how they treat the poor and the down and out. The more unGodly a society becomes the more they mistreat and despise the poor.
I was homeless because of ptsd, I did everything I needed to do to get out of it and I did, my experience with many homeless is they love handouts and they love the freedom of no rules, I TRYED to help them but it was me doing all the work and them sitting on their butts doing nothing, I gave up!
RedBird, here in Jacksonville, where I have lived for over 40+ years. There are excellent programs here to help the homeless and the addicted, both public and private centers. They are clean and safe. Transportation to these excellent facilities are free. The catch is, one cannot bring alcohol or any kind of drugs inside. These addicts who refuse to go there do not want to give up their street drugs and/or alcohol. You can bring a horse to water but you can't make it drink. By-the-way, most of these centers offer medical detox, individual and group counseling, job training, vocational training, G.E.D course work, job hiring assistance. Donated, nice interview suits and outfits, pressed and cleaned. Warm beds. Inside plumbing. Toilets and showers kept clean. 2 hot meals a day, one cold meal a day. WHAT ELSE CAN THE PEOPLE OF JACKSONVILLE DO?
You truly seem to care. You reach out to the people in the encampments with respect. You connect with them where others may not. You are a voice which could lead to State support. Keep up the great work. Thanks.
That's what people don't get, we do try to get jobs, but we don't get hired, there's always somebody that's better than you on paper. It's not as simple as just get a job... some of us just don't get hired as easily as others do.
There will always be a job when there is a willing person. It may be a crappy job with low pay and long hours, but you get what you an get and then move up when you develop skills and experience. Any job is better than begging.
They still seem to buy alcohol, drugs and cigarettes. The filthy conditions they leave where they stay DOSENT help them being left alone by law enforcement. They're forced to use the area for the bathroom. It's too bad ..🤷
@@valeriemarott1923These are the idiots who get enough money whilst standing on the interstate corners/under the bridge. Altogether… each day they make a decent amount. Trust me. 🙄✌️
Didn't you ever walk barefoot did you ever hear of earthing... I'm not homeless but I'm barefoot all the time you should try it maybe your attitude will change
Yes there’s a reason… the same government that divides the rich and poor uses our land as a big ass landfill. Chemical spills, air pollution, old raggedy ass factory buildings left decaying for decades. Why would you think the citizens of a trash country would be different from the trash country? Explain the logic
Because they don’t care what they junk up and destroy. Its not there properties. Duval is a magnet for homless because they get food and stuff downtown. Why work when the city will feed you.
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS They’re ate vacant pieces of property turned into death traps by the homeless who transform them into DUMPS….make no mistake…they are SELF CREATED. Anyone who dares enter that property is subject to walking thru their discarded drug paraphernalia…walking through their feces…it’s absolutely DISGUSTING. These same “suffering” homeless will prop themselves up next to a dumpster enclosure at Circle K and surround themselves with the trash they created rather than put it in the dumpster that is NEXT TO THEM
BINGO!!! Build mental institutions, along with jails. The state of California would be best to build a 90 ft wall around and send them all to it. No one in after their in and no one out. EVER!!!
They need real help and not more torture, maybe they wasnt lucky to have mom and dad to love them , show them the way, all that you know how to do and think about solutions, their mind is like in so much burden on, i dont think they have ability to figure what to do
Living in ( gator ) infestation areas * guessing once you have lost just about everything except the clothes on your back _ not even gators faces you anymore * heartbreaking to be honest. 💔
The danger posed by alligators is grossly overstated, and mostly comes from the threat of saltwater crocodiles which you WOULD NOT want to share a area with like you see here.. Don't get me wrong , gators can be dangerous. But it's not the same threat that , say, aussies or Africans have in saltwater or Nile crocs.
People are not always homeless because of drugs there's also a mental illness issue, some people become displaced because of marriages and family, some people depend on family and then they have nowhere to go when they're out on the street... The problem is that we have forgot about these people for a long time and it's an escalation of numbers, we would have started taking care of this twenty years ago things would be better for people and it wouldn't be so much homelessness but we spend the money on things that don't matter, even the fact that we give other countries billions of dollars and we have this phone situation here in America
Poor people are the most humble people on this Earth, and the love that the homeless people share with each other to look out for each other, that's a richness that you will never understand if you are a shallow person. To share a piece of bread, when there's nothing in your belly, is most important gift you can ever give..
When I lived in Vegas they lived in the water drains in tunnels, pretty isolated however it's a lot more clean, people have full living room , beds and dressers and everything you could imagine
@@Icare202 you're so right there is habitual attics and then there's functioning addict to work everyday ,right on Wall Street, Coke sniffing predators.. also people have that misconception that those legal drugs that you use R OK they are the most poisonous ones..
It's not hard if you have a sufficiently ordered mind. If you have a serious mental illness and are off your meds or involved in a hard drug habit as many of these folks are, housekeeping is one of the first things to fall by the wayside.
So depressing. Look at all the diseases & deadly infections spreading. They're in danger. Highest cases of Leprosy in Brevard County in Central FL. Tuberculosis spreading like wildfire. Please b careful. So many snakes too.
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS yes but Jose you can be a carrier, which means you have No effects but then when you go to see Dad you can give it to him, everyone in the store, it's dangerous.
I’ve been on earth for 40 years and NOT ONCE have I heard anybody say the #1 reason they don’t feel sympathy for the homeless is because of how dirty their camp is. Wow, y’all just be lying in these TH-cam streets.
I lived in Jacksonville for 4 years and in that time I had 3 very bad incidents with the homeless 😢 the worst was when my toddler and I went to the store and across the parking lot there was a group of homeless and all of the sudden a tall thin lady stood up and started walking towards me and I got a gut feeling I should leave so I put my van in gear to leave the next thing I knew I had a gun in my face and this crazy lady screaming at me to get out of her van. I started to drive off and I have never seen anyone run so fast she could almost keep up with my van with traffic and all. I called 911 and she was arrested her claim was she thought my toddler was her son? And the police told me she had just been released from prison 3 hours prior
i drove semi trucks and kept a clean nose for years. a spontaneous brain bleed almost ended my life and disabled mem forever. I have kids. Single dad. If i didnt havfe family that was amazing, in reality one special person, my mom,,,, we would be homeless like these folks. its heart breaking to me... this could be me T_T
Seems like everyone falsely believes that there IS a solution. Humpty Dumpty can't always be put back together again. Lives can't always be put back on track.

I pray for the animals in these situations, there is absolutely no reason to drag an innocent creature into your unstable condition. God Bless that poor dog, he/she doesn't deserve that kind of life.
I was thinking the same thing. So dangerous with alligators etc but then the dog can be in a home and have an owner that beats it. Can't win either way- sure they love it but maybe they can rehome it until they have a safer place to stay.
Thank you for bringing up the point that these people are part of a community. It's normal for human beings to have a sense of belonging. States, cities and townships that say they have NO homeless are simply forcing them out, to become an issue for another community. I agree with that statement.
And communities that don’t force them out become the same as LA, San Francisco, Oakland, Portland, and Seattle, a cesspool of crime and filth, where residents and businesses flee from the results of a lawless society.
You can camp in national forest anywhere but you have to keep moving-can’t stay in a single spot according to law just keep ahead of them. Pretty easy for real outdoors people, this is a junkie site and persons just getting to high and not leaving. I’ve tried living homeless and it doesn’t mean you live dirty and in less attractive conditions. my brother and I had a tent with a mountains views drinking water straight from the mountain. Bathed daily in the greatest swimming spots. Caught fish, and had a truck to go to town and get groceries. it was a great time relaxing camping for 140 days. I’d do it again and again just like the GOOD OL times living off the land. clean up camp sites and leave nothing behind just like a bear, wolf, goat, deer, etc. bless everyone
I grew up on the westside of Jax. All the neighborhood kids would build forts in the woods. I'm curious if any of our forts are still in the trees after 20yrs...
Full disclosure: Jacksonville is unique in that the city limits covers the entire county. Given that, its the second largest city in the world.... A little misleading to say you just entered the city limits...This is actually a very remote part of the city/county. But, the message is still accurate in capturing a homeless encampment.
These are not innocent people they destroy property and I am pretty sure they did not buy those shopping carts. Send them to Cuba and see how they are welcomed.
your a disrespectful POS. In Cuba the government gives EVERYONE a house to live. This type of misery doesn't even exist in Cuba. My wife is american and when she went to cuba they treated her with love and respect everywhere.. she went to the REAL CUBA too not some tourist camp.
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS Nonsense bro you on some liberal hype lately. My family is ACTUALLY Cuban and escaped during the 60's with everything they own taken from them. They hate the Cuban government. Some of my Cuban relatives went back to visit 5 years ago since it was re-opened for American visitation and they said it was HELL. They visited lots of blood relatives and said the conditions were pure despair. People selling candy and liquor out of their living room just to make enough money to eat. This is REAL Cuba too not the tourist parts, they toured the entire island.
I've seen plenty of the homeless tree houses and kids with treehouses, the other thing is they will raise up I'm packing pallets cardboard off the ground make a very small shed to usually with an old recliner or beach chair makeshift roof, usually out of sections of old fencing
I left Florida in June of 2016 and I'm glad that I did. I left right at the beginning of trouble. My life wasn't going well but I managed to leave in time. I'll never return to Florida again. Low wages, high crime, high rent, etc., but it was a great place for me as a first generation American to grow up in. But those days are over man.
Jose, Identifying with these homeless people is showing compassion, we need more of that and as far as that cop going after homeless he should focus on the drug dealers not the victims!
If those guys can set up tent and keep those essentials tidily and their respective zones clean we believe the authorities may leave them alone.maybe.hopefully.
I feel like they’re just shuffling homeless people into neighboring states. It’s very sad. We need rehabs - many people are addicted to drugs they were prescribed by doctors in this state. I’m not an addict at all and I’m homeless due to losing my business and insane rent. It’s not something anyone would chose. Hope they get help and shelter soon.
@Theloversconjure there is lots of help out there but for many people their only priority is their next fix. They don't want help. Just want your money for drugs.
What u are doing is so sweet thank you you seem like such a kind person 💗 I would give u hugs 🫂 watching this made my day life feels less lonely when you know someone cares ❤
How can you judge what kinda of people they are when you don’t live here when they walk up to your car and try to open the door or constantly come up to you asking for money. And it’s every corner.
My tire was flat but I had a air pump. I was suddenly surrounded by scary looking homeless when Columbia, MO had passed a 5 cents per empty can/plastic bottle compensation. One guy was really muscled and looked drugged up. They kept saying they wanted to help and then were asking for money as they surrounded me. I was so glad I had a pump. I told someone at work and they said how nice and innocent the homeless were and that I was wrong to judge them, but that man was not there.. This person was a college student and was very naive.
The homeless or the government or the wealthy elite? Which one are you talking about? Because homelessness is a result … so what trash is the cause? I advise you people to get your priorities straight, it’ll raise your I.Q.
the cops will NEVER leave them alone.. personal banditta to revenge a death sounds like any day that dude will wack someone out there in anger.. the homeless are terrified.
Someone who was homeless in Florida for a year, the state hates homeless people. They use police force to move them out of quiet safe areas into dangerous territories This is the reason traffickers are epidemic down there. The police set the homeless up for pickings, this is the state's way of getting rid of them Florida only has food banks for people with home addresses with IDs. They don't have homeless shelters with resources available. They front it, but don't provide it Florida has too many police, who harass its citizens over small offenses, while turning their heads toward hardened criminals Having almost gotten abducted twice by traffickers and having evaded them 4 times altogether while in Florida, I learned the cops are spineless and lazy, not all. Of course, there were good ones Florida's housing department is a complete joke, yet another front. They don't try to house the homeless either. Their government social programs are all corrupt
I live in Jacksonville and the homeless have been organizing to the point they are reconnoitering the subdivisions and coming up our driveways looking for things to take which forced me to make a complaint to JSO. Last time I encountered one they became argumentative when I told them to leave. I feel for them but at the same time they cannot be allowed to become like they are in the liberal western states. Duval county has homeless resources they can access so living in the woods is their choice.
Liberal western states? 😅😅😅😅 oh my.. you just don’t get it. Turn off fox news will ya? This is a problem for us here way worst than them. At least they have taken actions to help the situation not ignore it.
They don't have homeless shelters in Florida? I don't beleive this guy doesn't do drugs. He even has prison tattoos. A lifetime of bad decisions landed him there. There is help but most of these ppl don't want it.
There's lots of different homeless people that go through these camps . . . So even if a homeless person is cleaning up . . . It wouldn't matter because plenty of other homeless people that will make a mess . . . So you just can't win . . . I've seen homeless people that were clean and yet they still catch the shit just because there homeless . . . Lots of people like to forget how quick they could become homeless someday . . . Lots of people are only a few paychecks away from being homeless . . . Treat people the way you would want to be treated if you were homeless . . . Homeless people are still human beings . . . People like to forget that when it comes to the homeless .
Live in homeless you have to be ready to move the last junk you have the quicker you can move and if you clean up where you’re camping, then nobody will notice you living outside you got to be ready to go. That’s just how it is living out here. Try to stay ahead.
Thank you Jose for showing the truth. Absolutely horrific conditions. This is not my America anymore. Our Gment has grown so corrupt they siphon off our taxes for war after war while we have citizens who need help. Veterans who need help. Children and families who need help. My heart breaks to see what is happening in this country. It’s time we get these greedy traitors out of positions of power and do right by our people.
Horrific conditions because they throw TRASH EVERYWHERE…..do you not see that? They’re DISGUSTING! There are six that live in my town. They panhandle then buy lottery tickets with the cash people are kind enough to give then. Then, they throw them on the ground…next to an FING DUMPSTER! They destroy EVERY PLACE THEY TRED.
Hello anyone? Can we all just take a moment to appreciate the fact that these fine upstanding individuals are polluting the environment, poisoning the water and soil, endangering the wildlife?
Jose, I’m not sure about the angle at which you are trying to do your journalism. Look up how many homeless shelters are in the United States- then, look up how many are in each county. Then, look up how many nonprofit organizations there are that feed and clothe the “homeless”…. Not to mention, every church that has a soup kitchen. Your reporting is not nuanced.
We have a drug problem not a homeless problem. The more uncomfortable it is to be a homeless drug addict the more likely a person will get clean. When you try to help you end up with San Francisco.
You are a beautiful Man , and I support what you’re doing and sharing with these human American citizens, why are we supporting illegal aliens over our own ??????
part of the problem is poor people are too busy fighting against each other instead of focusing their anger and frustration on the actual people that mainly responsible for this issue. But here I say to be poor and homeless shouldn't stop you from taking care of your living environment. EDIT: Great commentary man. Very touching.
The tree house is actually pretty impressive but it's just sad they are evicting people from swamp lands ....like really investors actually care about swamplands and forest ?
I live in NE Florida. I used to live adjacent to low lying timberland. Petticoat-Schmitt cleared 100's acres then spent 2 years hauling in dirt to raise the ground level for Lennar homes.
Yes, every square inch of Florida is getting developed. The developers need those encamped evicted for construction to start. Work from home brought millions to Florida during the pandemic. They earn big money, & want houses & condos to live in. Places that sat vacant for decades because they were not worth developing are now in hot demand. The whole East Coast from Jacksonville to Homestead is seeing construction on every available vacant lot & parcel, because now there is high demand for the housing that will be built there. The police are happy to oblige evicting homeless camps, because developed property = higher property taxes= higher salaries = higher pensions. Florida will never be the same. There is an earnest pursuit of ending homeless camping everywhere statewide.
@@wayneanderson8034And they are building on land that will swallow them and the building whole. They better be wise not to get caught up with these developers trying to flip a quick buck out of greed!

As the previous homeless person, this is not just homelessness it this is called drug addicts. And actual genuine homeless person that doesn't like to do meth is not going to pile trash at a camp and retention to themselves because they don't like to be messed with. That is just a tweaker mess
Mental illness or other substance for certain theres no coherent thinking here.
Thank you. Most homeless individuals are on drugs or alcohol.

I’ve been on earth for 40 years and NOT ONCE have I heard anybody say the #1 reason they don’t feel sympathy for the homeless is because of how dirty their camp is. Wow, y’all just be lying in these TH-cam streets.
@@lastshallbefirst5516 yup. They only seeing this because i am showing it now
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS Exactly 💯, we appreciate you bro!
i pray for all the homeless people and animals god bless you guys ive been homeless i understand
In Volusia county not too far from Jacksonville… there are noooo shelters for handicap people. It’s mind blowing
I lived in Jax over 20 years and went through 15 years of addiction there and yes its a very wild place. I saw alot of stuff there.
What a scary sistuation.
3 hours out of jail, and got a gun already? She's got the connect I guess.
i drove semi trucks and kept a clean nose for years. a spontaneous brain bleed almost ended my life and disabled mem forever. I have kids. Single dad. If i didnt havfe family that was amazing, in reality one special person, my mom,,,, we would be homeless like these folks. its heart breaking to me... this could be me T_T
Thank you for allowing viewers to SEE that this crisis is happening everywhere and no one seems to be offering REAL solutions.
Seems like everyone falsely believes that there IS a solution. Humpty Dumpty can't always be put back together again. Lives can't always be put back on track.
Don't take drugs. Duh. This aint rocket science or complicated to figure out.
Right On, DC
Southern border is wide open 🤷🏿♂️😩🥵
Anyone can be homeless. Especially now with the cost of living. If they kick homeless out they need to have an alternative place for them to go.
Great video Jose! Congratulations on 100k subscribers, I have been with you guys almost from the beginning I remember when you had under 20k subscribers. It is informative video. I hope more homeless videos will raise more awareness about the situation
Youre a good Man and your words touched my heart. Thank you for this video.
I pray for the animals in these situations, there is absolutely no reason to drag an innocent creature into your unstable condition. God Bless that poor dog, he/she doesn't deserve that kind of life.
My heart broke for that sweet puppy too. So selfish to hold it hostage in that hellish hell
I was thinking the same thing. So dangerous with alligators etc but then the dog can be in a home and have an owner that beats it. Can't win either way- sure they love it but maybe they can rehome it until they have a safer place to stay.
This filthy campsite is what people are angry about! Just because you're homeless doesn't mean you have to live like pig's! CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELVES!
Nobody knew they were there until you videotaped them. Thanks for saving the environment.
Oh please, theres beggars everywhere we know they gotta sleep somewhere
going to sleep each night waking up flooded and gators swimming around. completely insane.
🎉🎉🎉🥳🥳🥳 y’all did it I knew it congratulations yall deserve it
I grew up on the westside of Jax. All the neighborhood kids would build forts in the woods. I'm curious if any of our forts are still in the trees after 20yrs...
Congratulations on 100 K Subscribers!!! ❤❤❤❤
Thanks
Amazing Work!!! 💯 🥊🎯
The filth shows this is a drug issue, not homelessness.
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS then why are people fleeing Cuba?
I've seen plenty of the homeless tree houses and kids with treehouses, the other thing is they will raise up I'm packing pallets cardboard off the ground make a very small shed to usually with an old recliner or beach chair makeshift roof, usually out of sections of old fencing
Excellent work. Vindication again. Please always practice extreme caution.
Its real out there
I left Florida in June of 2016 and I'm glad that I did. I left right at the beginning of trouble. My life wasn't going well but I managed to leave in time. I'll never return to Florida again. Low wages, high crime, high rent, etc., but it was a great place for me as a first generation American to grow up in. But those days are over man.
Congratulations on 100,000 subscribers!
Thank you!
You are both the best! We all love you!
Jose, Identifying with these homeless people is showing compassion, we need more of that and as far as that cop going after homeless he should focus on the drug dealers not the victims!
These folks are victims at this point
A person doesn't have to live with garbage everywhere, they can't even pick up their garbage.
If those guys can set up tent and keep those essentials tidily and their respective zones clean we believe the authorities may leave them alone.maybe.hopefully.
I wonder how he got that huge pallet up in the tree. Amazing
ropes, time, work
Maybe drugs too 😅 thats not sober thing to do 😅😅😅
Pallets only weigh 30lbs....not a problem.
Not like we're talking about a piano here.
the chick mentioning a cop that helped them, super smart. women often outsmart us guys for sure.
wanna meet my ex wife?
Guarantee ya don't wanna meet the 🐍 i was married to..
The city of auburn WA their is no homeless camps the cleanest city I've seen. They give them help if they don't take it they get kicked out
Good Luck
@Theloversconjure there is lots of help out there but for many people their only priority is their next fix. They don't want help. Just want your money for drugs.
Florida is FULL of rehabs.. people come from all over to try our "rehab" services etc.
Now this is Christ-like behavior. Exposing those who need our love not our help but our true love. Thank you brother.
Faith without works is dead.
Love is an action word.
Looks like that man is capable of working.
Lets not go pointing fingers 😅
This is sad 😔 stay safe out there. You are doing great work SUB! 👏
Maybe if they weren't so filthy and kept the place halfway clean for the animals, people might leave them alone
There's no reason why they can't clean up the garbage
@@MagnificentSails if your getting evicted and pressed, you might as well?? difficult situations
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGSthey're just making it harder for the next homeless person
Someone who was homeless in Florida for a year, the state hates homeless people. They use police force to move them out of quiet safe areas into dangerous territories
This is the reason traffickers are epidemic down there. The police set the homeless up for pickings, this is the state's way of getting rid of them
Florida only has food banks for people with home addresses with IDs. They don't have homeless shelters with resources available. They front it, but don't provide it
Florida has too many police, who harass its citizens over small offenses, while turning their heads toward hardened criminals
Having almost gotten abducted twice by traffickers and having evaded them 4 times altogether while in Florida, I learned the cops are spineless and lazy, not all.
Of course, there were good ones
Florida's housing department is a complete joke, yet another front.
Your a good kind man may God keep you safe❤
They don't have homeless shelters in Florida? I don't beleive this guy doesn't do drugs. He even has prison tattoos. A lifetime of bad decisions landed him there. There is help but most of these ppl don't want it.
Maybe for some but not all.
The heat and cold will do them in , stay sober and prayer and faith until the end
I don't understand why they have to live so filthy. Maybe if they clean the area up they won't be bothered so much.
There’s a news story of the city tearing down treehouses in a homeless camp in Jax, Orange Park area. Wonder if that’s the same area.
Likely the same. They out a funny twist on it but the people were angry they know these folks aint got options
Live in homeless you have to be ready to move the last junk you have the quicker you can move and if you clean up where you’re camping, then nobody will notice you living outside you got to be ready to go. That’s just how it is living out here. Try to stay ahead.
You have a heart of gold
You forgot about the MILIONS of illegals the Brandon administration is spending BILLIONS on.
It's because our government isn't running this country they're owned by big money multi-billionaires.
Hello anyone? Can we all just take a moment to appreciate the fact that these fine upstanding individuals are polluting the environment, poisoning the water and soil, endangering the wildlife?
Thats what junkies do. What should the law be doing?
Thanks for all your good work
part of the problem is poor people are too busy fighting against each other instead of focusing their anger and frustration on the actual people that mainly responsible for this issue. But here I say to be poor and homeless shouldn't stop you from taking care of your living environment. EDIT: Great commentary man. Very touching.
U are great human being bro appreciate what u out there doing.
Keep up the good work brother and I'm a black woman ❤

First they should stop Biden’s cartels from freely trafficking drugs across Biden’s open borders.
I'm homeless too.
Same in wildwood fl
This is literally in almost every patch of woods in Florida. It's nothing specific to Jacksonville. And considering that they refuse to clamp down on panhandling, you can find these people holding signs at nearly every shopping center.
Jose please be careful of Malaria and now Leprosy rates in FL are high. Malaria, you can be a carrier without knowing it, but these are the places you get those diseases. Sorry, but these people are not homeless because they fell on hard times they are drugged out.
We have to explore to learn to help. You can’t help if you don’t understand the issue.
What qualifies as a home? Does it require plumbing, electricity, an address?
home is a mindset, not a place.
Pray for the willingness to Tighten up your campsite. One step at a time.
A homeless person broke into my apartment and when I caught him with radio , clothes leaving with
32 in TV in a shopping cart with other items he was so polite I'm sorry I don't usually do this don't call the police I am having hard time so many know how to act innocent and a victim 😕 drugs or a devil
This nation has many people with huge fortunes. You hear about their philanthropy but you don't see it in places like this. Obviously these people have mental health issues as well as physical addictions, but with all the financial resources and the brain power at the disposal of the mega billionaires, you think they would do something.
They got MAD COMPLAINTS and EXCUSES, but there's RESOURCES for them ALREADY, especially in Florida.
There are very few resources in Florida. It's pathetic.
No one is forcing anyone to live like this. This is called, freedom of choice.
I’m a very outdoor person but that Florida humidity is no joke not to mention when the Hurricanes and storms surges roll through. The gator’s and the pythons are the least of my worries. Step on a Florida Cottonmouth or Eastern Diamondback kiss your foot or hand goodbye if you’re lucky
They got copperheads here too thats far north where they get them
